The singer/actress sports a decidedly different two-tone hair color at this weekend’s US Open.

OK, so I just came across this photo of singer/actress Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, taken this weekend as she and husband Pete Wentz took in a match at the US Open this past weekend. Please check out the new hairstyle she’s rocking: very long and with a different twist on hair color: dark brown/black from her roots to her shoulders and then dark blonde with highlights down to the ends.

I have so many questions I don’t know where to start. Are these her roots grown out to extreme lengths? Is this a revival of 80′s two-tone hair?  What would one call this punk rock mixture of brunette and blonde? Brunde? Blondette?

Chelsea Clinton and her new husband Marc Mezvinsky are back in New York City following their South African safari honeymoon, and the two enjoyed an evening of tennis at the US Open Sept. 3, sneaking a few kisses along the way. The two were on hand to watch American star Venus Williams in her match and appeared to definitely still be in the honeymoon phase of their relationship!

It’s not easy to be 23-year-old tennis superstar Maria Sharapova, recently named the Highest-Paid Female Athlete by Forbes. She literally works her butt off every day to bring in the dough — on and off the court. But when it comes to staying in shape, she admits that she DESPISES going to the gym! “Personally, I’m not a huge fan of it,” Maria confessed to HollywoodLife.com Aug. 24 at the Evian Live Young event in NYC.

“Working out is a huge part of my life,” Maria explained. But the in shape stunner says, “I love doing things outdoors like taking a run on the beach or in the park — doing things that are active and outside so you don’t feel like you’re doing so much.”

When it comes to food however, Maria doesn’t discriminate. “I love food,” Maria gushed! “I love trying different types of restaurants and different types of cuisine.” As for her food weakness — red velvet cupcakes. YUM!

Despite all the success and fame Maria has achieved in her career she says, “it’s [still] tough for me to imagine myself being a role model. When I think that the people look up to me are little girls and boys, I think they should want to be better than who I am. I don’t think anyone is perfect, [but] I always want to see them streaming to perfection.”

Most of all, Maria wants her fans to understand her life motto: “Enjoy your life! You’ve got to enjoy every moment of it — the good and the bad,” Maria said. “You’ve got to try and learn from the tough moments, because those make you stronger in life!”

Little kids come up with the craziest stories, and their moms always eat them up! Gossip Girl star and mother of two — son Hermés, 3, and daughter Helena, 14 months – Kelly Rutherford knows from experience just how adorable these fabrications can be! “My son comes up with things and I just wonder where he gets it,” the 41-year-old actress told HollywoodLife.com exclusively Aug. 27 at the US Open Player Party at the Empire Hotel in NYC. Just recently “he said, ‘Well mommy, I’m here to change the world!’”

“And I said, ‘Oh really, that’s pretty extraordinary,” Kelly continued. “We all looked at him like ‘what are you talking about?’ It was pretty extraordinary. … I think it’s from him watching Go Diego Go!“

Kelly told us that Hermés is “into heroes — Superman and Spiderman. I think he’s getting this idea that maybe he can be a superhero and that he can do something to change the world.”

And Hermés even pretends to have super natural powers! “He’s jumping on the sofa [trying to] fly,” Kelly laughed. “He’s [also] into the the Wonder Twins ‘ powers. That’s a new thing he really wants — to activate his Wonder Twins power.”

“They’re at the age where literally every day it’s something new,” said Kelly. “I think it is a good message!”

After vowing he would never miss one of his children’s birthdays, the golfer spent Friday in California while his daughter was home in Florida!

Tiger Woods‘ golf game may be getting back on track following his performance at this weekend’s US Open, but his personal life is still a mess – he missed his daughter’s birthday! Radar Online reports that the golfer was in California while his daughter celebrated her third birthday at home in Florida. Come on Tiger!

Tiger had previously stated in a press conference following his stint in rehab that one of his biggest regrets was missing his son’s birthday. “Because of the time frame of it, I missed my son’s first birthday and that hurts. That hurts a lot and I vowed I’d never miss another one after that,” the golfer stated. It seems like most of Tiger’s promises, he failed to follow through.

There had been speculation Sam would be flown out to California with a nanny for her big day, but that never happened.

Tiger was back in Florida Monday luckily and spent the day with Sam. He may also be playing dad to a new son soon if paternity tests prove him to be the father of the child of former mistress Devon James.

The disgraced golfer gave mistress Devon James a set of golf clubs and other gifts for her son!

The Tiger Woods saga drags on again today with a report that the golfer not only knew of his alleged love child, but he also bought him gifts! TMZ reports that when Tiger and former mistress Devon James met in September 2008, “Tiger brought a golf club, a hat, and a bracelet that Tiger said was ‘for your son.’” We wonder if Austin Brinling, the 9-year-old in question, is drafting a Father’s Day card as we speak.

Tiger may soon have to take a paternity test for the child after Devon filed papers with the court. As for any surname confusion, Devon’s actual name is Melinda Brinling-Caso.

The golfer, currently in 3rd place at this weekend’s US Open, better keep hitting the links. At the rate these stories keep unfolding, he is going to be shelling out money for years to come.

The whole world may be talking about Tiger & Elin — but that doesn’t mean they’re talking to each other!

Remember when Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren took off on separate trips earlier this week? Well, they’re both back in Florida — but they’re not exactly telling each other all about their recent trips. In fact, RadarOnline.com is reporting that Tiger and Elin have barely said a word to each other since returning April 16. At one point on Friday, a source tells the site, Elin knocked on Tiger’s door because one of their kids needed to go to the bathroom, and Tiger just stood there without exchanging so much as a word with her.

Elin is still furious with Tiger over his decision to return to golf — at the 2010 Masters Tournament and the upcoming U.S. Open in June — as well as his tasteless Nike ad, which featured his late father Earl Woods.

I knew the future of their marriage wasn’t looking bright — Elin has reportedly been meeting with divorce lawyers — but it’s looking even more grim now that they aren’t even speaking to one another.
