Although Shia LaBeouf is basking in the glory of the multi-million dollar blockbuster Transformers: Dark of the Moon, he is not on good terms with his former Transformers star, Megan Fox, and her husband, Brian Austin Green, after revealing he hooked up with Megan while she and her soon-to-be husband were taking a break!  Now OK! Magazine reports that the couple are fighting to save their marriage — at the expense of Shia’s friendship. 

Megan and Brian have been dating on and off since 2004, however finally tied the knot in a discrete ceremony just one year ago.  The couple took a break during Megan’s filming of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in 2008 — the same time when Shia recently admitted to engaging in a physical relationship with his co-star.  “Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them…but the time I spent with Megan was our own thing…” LaBeouf reveals in the August issue of Details magazine.

Though now, OK! Magazine reports that Megan and Brian are desperately trying to save their marriage.  “He has really upset Megan and Brian,” a close source explains.  “They went through an incredibly rocky period when she and Shia were filming Transofmers: Revenge of the Fallen…having Shia run his mouth now and brag about sleeping with Megan is awful for them.”

Though was it really cheating?  “…technically [Megan] didn’t do anything wrong since they were on break.  [Still], they are so angry at Shia.”  We hope this love triangle dies out very soon!

A battle is brewing between two major Hollywood beauties! Selena Gomez‘s Monte Carlo and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley‘s Transformers: Dark of the Moon are both hitting theaters this weekend, and while both girls will no-doubt look gorgeous on the big screen, only one of their movies can win the box office. So who will it be: Selena or Rosie?

We always knew Megan Fox was the bad-girl type, but who could cheat on mega hottie Brian Austin Green?! No one, apparently. A set insider reveals new details on the hot hook up between Transformers costars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox!
Shia kissed and told to Details magazine about his time with Megan on the set of Transformers, but when asked if she was dating now-husband Brian at the time, he kept repeating “I don’t know, I don’t know.” Luckily, a set insider does know and spilled to Us Weekly!

“It was when Megan and Brian broke up,” the source explains. “They had a 10-month break before getting back together.”

We do recall when the pair broke things off for some time before finally tying the not in June 2010.

“[Shia and Megan] bonded while filming,” the source explains, describing the less than positive atmosphere on set. ”Believe me, that was an unhappy set. I think they were drawn together because it was so ugly working on that film.”

Or, eventually, drawn apart — now that Megan was replaced for the most recent Transformers flick by model-turned-actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. But what were the terms of her departure?

“She was never fired,” the source insists. “She said enough was enough and quit.”

For the sake of her marriage, that was probably a good decision!

I don’t know about you, but when I think of awesome ’90s music, I immediately find myself humming along to the songs of the Goo Goo Dolls! That’s why I was totally thrilled to hear that the boys would be appearing on the Transformers: Dark of the Moon soundtrack, with their single “All That You Are.” I was even more excited that Starwood Preferred Guests were treated to a private acoustic performance from Johnny Rzeznik at the W Hotel in NYC’s Union Square — and we got the chance to chat with the frontman!

Johnny’s performance was fabulous, but the best part was getting to chat with him. This isn’t the first time the Goo Goo Dolls have been featured in a major movie — back in 1998, their song “Iris” was featured in the movie City of Angels. While the movie was less than perfect, the soundtrack was amazing, and one of the top-selling albums of the year. Also, in 2007, their song “Before It’s Too Late” was featured in the original Transformers film. I asked Johnny what it felt like to be a part of such a huge movie again, and he told me, “It’s always excited to be tied into such a huge project. You realize that people all over the world are going to get to hear your song in a deeper context. It plays a supporting role in the film.”

Transformers: Dark of the Moon opens today nationwide! Johnny said that the Transformers movies are great guilty pleasures, and you can head into the theater and be “blown away for a couple of hours.” We can’t agree more. Becoming runner-up in season five of American Idol has never stopped Katharine McPhee from pursuing a successful career as a singing sensation.  Between releasing three solo albums and landing various parts in musicals and small cameos in films, Katharine is finally gaining the recognition she deserves as she prepares for her upcoming role in Smash! 

Last night, Katharine stopped by The Voice, one of this summer’s hottest and most addictive shows, to promote her new drama which premieres early next year.  Like her own career, Katharine’s character wants to be a  singer.  “I play a young aspiring actress named Karen from the Midwest and shes taking her shot at Broadway,” she explained.  Moreover, she’s accompanied by a superstar veteran cast.  “I’m joined by an amazing cast: Angelica Houston, Deborah Messing, and the iconic Stephen Spielberg is our producer so I’m so excited to witness that.”

It’s hard to believe that Stephen is able to find time away from his Transformers duties, but luckily he has the assistance from an authentic and experienced crew.  Broadway’s Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman join the producer by composing the music, as playwright Theresa Rebeck is writing the script with Michael Mayer directing.  With this talented crew, there’s no doubt this show is going to be a success!

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked sexy from head to toe June 28 on Live With Regis And Kelly – but we’re more interested in what she wasn’t wearing! The Transformers: Dark of the Moon star dared to go braless for her big TV appearance, and we have to wonder if Rosie wasn’t trying to one-up fellow Transformers hottie Megan Fox.

The two ladies have certainly been put up against each other in the media lately, as the first Megan-less installment of the Transformers franchise hits theaters tomorrow. And star Shia LaBeouf hasn’t exactly kept quiet about the passing of the torch.

“She was a friend of mine,” Shia said about Megan on June 28 during an appearance on the Today show. “I loved her. We spent four years together, but I think [replacing her] was beneficial to the storyline. At the end of the second film, the two characters became synonymous and Sam became the hero, so to bring a new set of eyes is refreshing.”
