Ready for a double whammy of awesome? Not only is Pixar reportedly planning a fourth installment in the Toy Story series, but a sequel to Finding Nemo is also believed to be in the works! HollywoodLife.com‘s sister site Deadline.com broke the news about Nemo on July 17, while Tom Hanks told BBC News back in 2011 that he believed a fourth Toy Story film was in the works.

As a life-long Toy Story fan, I’m more than happy to revisit the toys I’ve known and loved for years. The concept of a Finding Nemo sequel, however, raises many questions for me. For example, why can’t dead-beat dad Marlin just get it together and stop losing his son? It’s like the sequel to Home Alone; At what point do you call in child services? These people are simply unfit parents.

This is hilarious! Matthew McConaughey, 42, admits that Levi, 2, has a full-time babysitter — Tom Hanks! And Tim Allen. Well, actually it’s the whole Toy Story crew! “His main thing is Toy Story, Toy Story 1, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3,” Matt tells Jay Leno on The Tonight Show. “‘Papa, I want to watch Woody, where’s Woody,’ and that’s daily. I mean we have to sort of govern him on it a little bit because it’s all the time!” And that’s when Matthew decided ‘Woody’ needed a paycheck.

“I run into to Tom Hanks Oscar evening,” Matthew describes. “And I go up and I slip him a hundred and he goes, ‘What’s this for?’ and I said, ‘Trust me I owe you a lot more than that for the amount of time you’ve been babysitting my son Levi.”

And the funny thing is, Tom kept the $100! What a great babysitter.

As winter stretches on, if you’re anything like me, HollyMoms, you’re dreaming about escaping the snow-filled streets and heading to a tropical paradise. Well, if your family are fans of Disney, soon you’ll be able to take them all to the Bahamas on the newest boat in the Disney fleet, the Disney Dream. This floating city has everything from gourmet restaurants and a spa to a watery roller coaster and you can be one of the first 4,000 passengers if you’re willing to spend $1,400 per person, when it makes it maiden voyage from Port Canaveral, FL., on January 26.

The 130,000-ton vessel, is the first new Disney boat in more than a decade. It carries the first-ever water coaster among it’s 14 decks! It’s actually a 765-foot-long waterslide, which has a four-deck drop and dips over the ship’s edge. So, it’s probably best to hold off on taking your kids on this 4-day cruise until they can swim. If your kiddos are still in need of a floatation device, then they might enjoy the 9-hole miniature golf course instead.

And it wouldn’t be worthy of the Disney name if some of the passengers didn’t include their famous characters – everyone from Tinker Bell to the loveable creatures from Monsters Inc. and Toy Story, will be there to delight your little ones.

I doubt parents will have much free time to indulge in the Senses Spa & Salon, since it’ll be a full time job just to keep an eye on your kids on this massive boat, but it’s there if you get a spare hour.

Movie themes are a big hit this year for family costume ideas. It doesn’t matter how rich their parents are, all kids love to play with toys, and it’s pretty obvious that the Beckham boys are no different. The sons of David and Victoria Beckham arrived in Los Angeles on Tuesday and both 7-year-old Romeo and his little brother Cruz, 5, had their Toy Story action figures in hand. For Romeo, it was Woody, while Cruz had a Mr. Potato Head with him as his Dad carried him through the airport.

Romeo also had Woody on hand when he and his father and brothers took in a soccer match in the UK last weekend, and Dad even took his eyes off the game to play with the toy. But the Beckham’s kids Toy Story love affair goes way back — Cruz even went out last year dressed as Buzz Lightyear with his mom, Victoria (and it wasn’t even Halloween).

Still it’s no surprise that these boys love toys — they get it from their dad. He’s a huge Lego fan and even built a replica of the Taj Mahal out of the tiny bricks in his downtime while playing soccer in Italy last year. David’s admission sent Lego sales soaring; will the Beckham kids’ love of Toy Story do the same for Woody and his friends?

The gang from Andy’s room is back and facing their own midlife crisis as their beloved boy playmate grows up and gets ready to head off to college. Only his chief BFF cowboy Woody (Tom Hanks) is supposed to make the college journey, too. For the rest of Andy’s not-quite-as-precious toys, their fate is to be boxed up in the attic — a fate almost worse than death for a bunch of toys who live to be played with.

Luckily Jesse (Joan Cusack) the plucky cowgirl, Buzz “Heroic” Lightgear (Tim Allen), devoted old love birds Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head (Don Rickles and Estelle Harris), Rex the unferocious Tyrannosaurus rex (Wallace Shawn), Slinky Dog and more, manage to get themselves donated to a local daycare center — except, OMG! All is NOT as it seems.

That’s really where the wild ride begins, when the daycare center turns out to actually be more like a POW camp presided over by … well, if I tell you more, I’ll be giving too much away.

Let’s just say you’ll never look at a Huggy Bear or Big Baby Doll the same way. And Barbie and Ken — but especially the metro-sexual Ken — finally get what we’ve all wanted to see coming to them, since they got their “dream house.”

There is a GREAT ESCAPE scene that’s every bit as sesentful as anything produced post-WWII and you’ll be shocked by one very suddenly serious scene that you don’t expect in a kids’ movie. It’s not one faced in many adult movies, either.

But in those moments and many others, our heroes display nothing less than true courage, love and loyalty over and over. It’s the film’s essential message — the power of love, loyalty and courage — that is so missing from our daily lives, and especially our leaders today. At least our kids can learn it from Buzz, Jesse and a pair of Potato Heads.

It made me feel like there was new hope on the horizon. President Woody for 2012!
