Remember that time Taylor Swift couldn’t take a joke? Sorry, let me be more specific: Remember at the 2013 Golden Globes, when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler warned Taylor to “stay away from Michael J. Fox‘s son?” In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Taylor slammed the hostesses for their remark, saying, “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.” Thankfully, Tina and Amy have a better sense of humor.

“If anyone was going to get mad at us, I thought it would be James Cameron,” Tina told Entertainment Tonight at the NYC premiere of Admission. ”I did not see that one coming. It was a joke. It was a lighthearted joke.”

Amy, for whatever reason, was more sympathetic to Taylor — who really should just be able to take a freakin’ joke.

“Aw, I feel bad if she was upset,” Amy told The Hollywood Reporter. “I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff.”

Why Taylor Not Getting Amy & Tina’s Joke Is Kind Of Hilarious

There’s a beautiful irony in Taylor’s remark about “women who don’t help other women,” though I’m sure it would go right over Taylor’s boy-crazy head. Not only have Tina and Amy made incredible strides for women in their careers — Tina has helped paved the way for female comedy writers, while Amy’s Smart Girls YouTube channel is devoted to the empowerment of young girls — but Taylor has literally done the opposite.

Taylor’s entire career is based around letting boys and relationships determine her happiness — hence every song she’s ever written. Ever. Basically, she’s the reason guys think girls are crazy stalkers, so she has no right to talk about “women who don’t help other women.”

“Normal” isn’t a word I would use to describe either of NBC’s comedy queens — Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) on Parks & Recreation and Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) on the late-great 30 Rock — so I certainly wouldn’t expect either of them to sport a normal dress on their wedding day. We saw Liz tie the knot earlier this season, and on the Feb. 21 episode of Parks & Rec, we got to see Leslie swap vows with Ben (Adam Scott). Which of their unconventional get-ups did you like better?

Leslie Knope’s Wedding Dress On ‘Parks & Recreation’

Because Leslie and Ben’s wedding happened last-minute, she didn’t have a lot of time to plan — and that included shopping for a dress — so she tasked Ann (Rashida Jones) with whipping up the perfect gown.

“I was thinking the sensuality of Eleanor Roosevelt combined with the animal magnetism of Leslie Stahl,” she told Ann, which is exactly what she got.

The finished product was a dress made from all the “meaningful bills, pictures, documents and memos” from Leslie’s career, and she literally couldn’t have been more thrilled with it.

“It is the most beautiful object I’ve ever seen,” Leslie proclaimed. “It is the Ann Perkins of dresses. It is amazing.”

Liz Lemon’s Wedding Dress On ’30 Rock’

Arguably even weirder than Leslie’s newspaper dress was the Princess Leia-style dress Liz wore to her own nuptials in late 2012. Actually, scratch that, it wasn’t a Princess Leia-style dress; it was just a straight-up Princess Leia costume. The last time we saw Liz in all her Star Wars glory was when she tried to crazy her way out of jury duty back in 2008, which totally worked.

But as a wedding dress? Once again, it only worked because of the fine lady wearing it. And if there’s one thing I learned from 30 Rock, it was to accept absurdities without question. I mean, in what reality would Liz Lemon ever end up with James Marsden?

30 Rock went out with a bang! Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) got her happy ending earlier in the season by marrying hot dog vendor Criss Chross (James Marsden), but she spent the duration of the final episode on Jan. 31 rounding up the cast of TGS, a show within the show, for one last hurrah!

The ending of TGS is bittersweet. Scared of what the future holds, Liz finds herself miserable as a stay at home mom.

“It’s OK to want to work,” Criss consoled Liz. “One of us has to. We just got it backwards: You’re the dad.”

“I do like ignoring your questions while I try to watch TV,” Liz agreed, before a flash forward showed her working on a bad sitcom Grizz & Herz with her two adopted children in tow.

Jack Donaghy Resigns From Kabletown

Futhermore, as the newly minted CEO of NBC parent Kabletown, Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) was facing his own crisis, receiving criticism from a treasured enemy, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, appearing in the finale as herself.

“Jack Donaghy is an economic war criminal,” Nancy declared on a cable news network. “If the Democratic Party controls Congress, I will see to it that he is punished in the worst way possible: by having to come down here and listen to us.”

Despite his joy over Nancy’s mention of his name, Jack ends up resigning from Kabletown and begins a journey to find what truly makes him happy.

The Future After ‘TGS’

Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) takes Liz to a strip club, and he tries to derail the grand finale of TGS, so that no one has to say goodbye.

Producer Pete Hornberger (Scott Adsit) finally acheives his dream by disappearing without a trace.

Kenneth Parcell (Jack McBrayer) is promoted to the head of NBC, where he is pitched a new comedy series, 30 Rock! And so it comes full circle!

“There’s a reason people don’t say honest goodbyes. It’s because when stuff is coming to an end, people freak out and they act crazy,” Liz tells Tracy in the series finale. So true, so true. We feel the same way about the end of 30 Rock.

When Tina Fey walked the red carpet Jan. 27 at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, she discussed four words I never thought I would ever hear in this order: Mean Girls, The Musical! “I would love to,” Tina told E! when asked about bringing the Plastics to Broadway. “I’m trying to develop it … with my husband, who does all the music for 30 Rock. I think Paramount’s on board.”

As crazy as it may sound, I think Mean Girls could make a great musical, especially with Tina and husband Jeff Richmond at the helm. Did anyone think Legally Blonde would be a great musical? Or Bring It On? Of course not, but they both turned out to be huge hits!

That’s right. They were both HUGE. HITS.

Potential Songs For ‘Mean Girls: The Musical’

Because Mean Girls: The Musical is still being developed, we don’t know anything about the show’s sure-to-be-crowd-pleasing musical numbers, but that’s not stopping me from making a few suggestions. Here are five songs I’d like to see make their way to the stage:

1. “You Go Glen Coco,” one boy’s triumphant song-and-dance number about getting multiple valentines — while Gretchen Wieners got none.

2. “I’m A Cool Mom,” an upbeat number introducing the beautiful creature that is Regina George’s mother.

3. “Projection Room Blues,” Shane Oman’s surprisingly poignant ballad about getting caught in his undies — all alone.

4. “I Want My Pink Shirt Back,” Damian’s big moment, where he demands Cady return his over-sized garment. (This could be a major highlight of act two.)

5. “So Fetch!,” Gretchen Wieners’ desperate (musical) attempt to make “fetch” happen.

Jennifer Lawrence thanked MTV for her successful career in movies, Tina Fey joked that Amy Poehler gave birth to Lena Dunham, and Sofia Vergara admitted that her ample bosom made her look like a hooker! The 19th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Jan. 27 was a night to remember!

2. While presenting alongside Jeff Daniels, Kerry Washington flubbed the phrase “make us laugh day in and day out,” saying instead as “make us laugh in and out”. She charmingly recovered, getting a laugh from the audience herself.

3. When Tina Fey accepted her award for Best Female Actor in a Television Series, Comedy, she gave a loving shout-out to her BFF and Golden Globes co-host Amy Poehler. She also got in a great joke: “Amy, I’ve known you since you were pregnant with Lena Dunham!”

4. While accepting the award for Ensemble Cast, Television Series, Comedy on behalf of his show Modern Family, Jesse Tyler Ferguson took the time to show his gratitude to fellow nominees 30 Rock and The Office, both of which are in their final season this year.

5. Jessica Chastain, looking stunning in red, introduced a heartfelt memorial segment, honoring all the actors who had passed in the prior year.

6. Accepting the Lifetime Achievement award from Alec Baldwin, Dick Van Dyke gave an acceptance speech both hysterical and touching — proving why he’s the star he is.

7. When accepting the award for Female Actor in a Motion Picture for her Oscar-nominated performance in Silver Linings Playbook, Jennifer Lawrence thanked MTV, saying that her appearance in a network promo for My Super Sweet 16 earned her a place in the Screen Actors Guild.

Taylor Swift wasn’t in the mood for jokes at the Golden Globes. The singer’s love life has been the topic of discussion for months and now hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler put her on blast during the show.

What Tina & Amy Said About Taylor During The Show

“You know what Taylor Swift?” Tina said. “You stay away from Michael J Fox’s son!”

Amy said: “Or go for it, go for it.” To which Tina responded: “She needs some ‘me’ time to think about herself.”

Ouch! Now that’s embarrassing to be said in a room full of celebs and on national TV! Michael’s son is named Sam Michael Fox and he’s 23-years-old, that’s not as young as most of the guys she normally dates. Harry was only 18!

Taylor’s Not So Great Night

Taylor showed up wearing a very severe look. She had her hair pulled back tight and she wore a very grown up Donna Karan gown. But she came solo to the show and it was clear she wasn’t happy about it. She was up for Best Original Song against Adele for “Skyfall” and she lost.

It’s understandable that Taylor is having a tough time, she just broke up with Harry Styles!

The camera cut to Taylor’s face and it was clear she was upset. Then HollywoodLife.com confirmed that Taylor left shortly after the jab.

Tina commented that it must have been “really difficult to sing with a camera that close to her face.”

Amy replied: “Well, she’ll never make it in porn.” Tina then said: “I don’t think she has plans to do porn, Amy.”

Amy provided the zinger with, “None of us have plans to do porn, Tina.”

Tina Fey‘s daughter Alice Richmond, 7, appears to have the comedy chops of her hilarious parents — dad Jeff Richmond is also a Second City alum — and showed off her impeccable comedic timing during the Nov. 29 episode of 30 Rock.

Although it hasn’t been 100 percent confirmed, fans speculated it was Tina’s oldest daughter who made the short cameo as a young Liz Lemon.

In a flashback scene to Liz as a little kid — to explain the history behind Liz’s infamous eye roll — it appeared to be Tina’s mini-me on screen, providing the hilarious facial expression.

We think it is — she looks JUST like Alice, even behind the thick prop glasses!
