The style expert won’t back down to the popstar — even if she did call him a fashion bully on ‘The View’! He responds to her accusations here.

Tim Gunn is known for his style expertise and he isn’t afraid to voice his opinion — although it looks like his honesty has stuck a chord with Lady Gaga. The singing star went on The View on Aug. 1, where she called Tim a “bully” — but he was quick to respond to her accusations. “What I’ve said about her is very matter-of-fact. She doesn’t wear clothes, she wears costumes! So would I ever put her on a best dressed list or list her among fashion icons? Of course not,” he told us.

Tim went on to compliment Gaga, even if he might not be fond of some of her outrageous wardrobe choices. “She’s remarkably talented and the world’s a better place for having her, but best dressed list? Not in my vocabulary!”

From work functions to hanging with friends and spending time with family, you want to look appropriate, smart and chic. This week, Project Runway was all about promoting an active lifestyle as contestants attempted to create fun and trendy sports apparel!

Contestents found themselves in workout gear at the New Balance Track and Field Center at the Armory, where Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn awaited to tell them that they would be working in four teams of three, lapping around the field to win the title of team captain for the upcoming challenge. Before Heidi and Tim could blow the whistle, designer Cecilia abruptly quit the show, Josh C. makes a comeback, Oliver dramatically faints mid-run and Heidi (in 6-inch heels) has to help Bert reach the goal-line. The first to complete the run and win the title of team captain: Joshua, Bryce, Anthony Ryan and Viktor.

Amidst choosing team members, Heidi announces this weeks challenge in which designers will have to create 3 cohesive looks for her HK New Balance sneakers. The winning team’s look will be sold and manufactured online on Amazon.com as a part of Heidi’s line. The items will all be available for purchase August 26. The contenders were thrilled to have the opportunity to work on designs specially for Heidi.

Heidi, Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and guest judge, model Erin Wasson had mixed comments regarding all the designer’s final products showcased in the “Mean Girls”: The HK New Balance Sneakers fashion show. They loved Viktor’s gray dress and black motorcycle jacket, and Joshua’s team and their maxi dress, both of which won the challenge. Unfortunately for Danielle and Anthony Ryan’s designs, judges weren’t the least bit impressed. Danielle created yet another green chiffon top and skirt number, while Anthony Ryan went for a romper. Michael Kors went as far as to tell Anthony, “You’ve achieved the impossible. Your shorts are big and tight at the same time. She has camel toe in big shorts.” However, it was Danielle and green chiffon that got the boot.

Poor Jenny Humphrey will no longer be enjoying life on the Upper East Side — and not because of Blair Waldorf.

Taylor Momsen‘s teen-terror behavior — like flashing her minor breasts to an entire rock club — is finally catching up with her.

Michael Ausiello reports on Deadline.com that Taylor, 17, will begin “an indefinite hiatus” from CW show Gossip Girl after next week’s episode.

She has only appeared in three episodes this season and sources tell Ausiello that she will not be present for the remaining four episodes (through the mid-season finale).

Why? Because her compulsively wacko behavior off-set and apparent lack of professionalism on it have pushed producers to their limits.

Tim Gunn, who made a guest appearance in one of the fall’s episodes, slammed Momsen’s work habits  to E! News: “What a diva. She was pathetic, she couldn’t remember her lines, and she didn’t even have that many. I thought to myself, ‘Why are we being held hostage by this brat?’”

Unclear what the plan is post-midseason.
