Blake Shelton helped his contestants win the first two seasons of The Voice, so he may have had a feeling he’d accomplish the same feat this season as well. However, Usher’s contestant, Michelle Chamuel, was “a thorn in [his] side all along.” In other words, Blake felt she was Danielle Bradberry’s only competition.

“Michelle was a thorn in my side all along. I am a fan, but as a coach, she was the enemy. She was the opposing team; she made it so hard because she is so talented. Thank God for Danielle’s God given talent! Because she is the reason I am talking about winning, nothing special that I did!”

Michelle Chamuel May Be A Thorn, But She’s No Sore Loser

Michelle worked her butt off this season, but she was still nice enough to congratulate Danielle, who did win this season. Michelle told HollywoodLife.com exclusively:

“A lot of different things [went through my head when the winner was announced]. It was like, Oh My God! But when they called her name, it was for the best. Danielle is the person that America needs to hear. I am such a fan and so excited for her!”

So sweet! Michelle may be a thorn in Blake’s side, but she’s definitely not a sore loser.

Blake Shelton is celebrating his third victory after Danielle Bradbery took home the trophy on The Voice season finale, and he has got something to tell the haters who doubted the show! “They can kiss my ass!” says Blake exclusively to HollywoodLife.com, and he also reprimands the critics who said there was no unknown talent on the show.

Blake Shelton Disses The Haters

HollywoodLife.com talked to Blake after he celebrated his hat trick win, and we asked him what he was going to do to win next again next season.

“You know what, I don’t know what I am going to do next season!” said Blake, before he talked about how proud he was to diss the haters:

From the beginning when I signed up for the show I said I would like to take a country act from the beginning to the end and win this thing and now that has happened. It is so funny, along the way I read all these things from critics and people who are naysayers, and now that it has happened. So they can KISS MY ASS; we really worked hard for this!

He sure did! Blake could not be happier that Danielle won, and he thinks she will become a star.

Blake Speaks About Danielle’s Victory

Unlike Danielle, Blake’s last winner Cassadee Pope came under fire because she had previously had a record deal before appearing on the show.

Blake explains that critics who dissed the show because of this can also kiss his ass:

I love the fact that The Voice gets criticim in the past that we brought artists in with record deals that have been on tour and professionals. They can kiss our ass now because Danielle Bradbery is a kid who her biggest audience was her Thanksgiving dinner table. So we found somebody on this show and luckily we have found somebody grow and becaome a star. There will be stars that show up on The Voice but Danielle Bradbery gave us the opportunity to discover a true super star!

In the tense season finale of The Voice on June 18, Michelle Chamuel lost out to Danielle Bradbery, but instead of being bitter about it, she reveals EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com that she is happy for her “capable and classy” rival.

Michelle, 27, lost out to 16-year-old Danielle, and she admits that she thinks it was for the best.

“A lot of different things [went through my head],” Michelle tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “It was like, Oh My God! But when they called her name, it was for the best. Danielle is the person that America needs to hear. I am such a fan and so excited for her!”

Michelle is so sweet and so gracious to be happy for her competitor. Furthermore, she calls Danielle “classy” for being so composed when winning.

This girl is the most kind and smart person I have ever met and she is so capable and classy, and for being 16, it’s amazing. When I was 16 I would have exploded or melted and screamed and run away or have gone to the bathroom. I don’t know what to say! I was just thinking no matter what I hope it all works out for the best!

Michelle also spilled about her future plans, and yes, her mentor Usher will be involved!

Michelle is clearly so grateful to Usher for taking her all the way to the final:

He is a coach that I will be consulting with and interacting with and developing a relationship with for a long time to come. Plus the things he has already taught me in my life, it has brought a sense of community.

At 16, Danielle Bradbery is a perfect example for young girls today, and I think it’s great that The Voice gave her a platform to come out of her shell and expose her true talent.

Danielle Bradbery: A Great Role Model

In the world of reality TV, it’s so refreshing to see someone like Danielle being honored for one thing and one thing only — her talent. At only 16, she’s landed on the iTunes top 10 chart five times. When she hit the stage in her audition, it was only the beginning.

She became great friends with finalists Michelle Chamuel and the Swon Brothers, referring to them as family.

While coach Blake Shelton has now won The Voice three seasons in a row, an actual country artist has yet to win — until now! While Cassadee Pope has now crossed over into the country world, she was  primarily a pop star.

So Danielle’s chances of becoming a huge country star are high! After her amazing performance with Hunter Hayes, it wouldn’t surprise me if they headed on tour together — possibly opening for Blake?

“I put my best in my performances to make Blake proud and just have fun out there,” Danielle told us. “He has been telling me to have fun. He is definitely what you see is what you get and amazing! He is an amaing coach and person. He knows what he is doing, and that count because he knows what he is doing and he is there for you know matter what! He is the best!”

Well, his trophies don’t lie; he’s won three seasons in a row, so we know he is the best!

Cher performed the first single, “Woman’s World,” off her upcoming album on the June 18 season finale of The Voice. Her incredible performance, however, overshadowed the fact that she was completely nervous!

“It was frightening and fun, when you haven’t actually been live and been in front of an audience. It wouldn’t be bad if it was a concert, but to be in front of a gazillion people made it a little bit uncomfortable and nerve-racking. Plus, I have had some really hard times with my throat. I went to Russia and had something and my voice hasn’t been great, so I was really nervous. I think what I didn’t have with my voice, I covered with having a good time!”

It may seem strange for Cher to be nervous in front of a live audience, but her June 18 performance was her first live show on television since 2003.

Regardless of her nerves, at 67 years old, this vocal extraordinaire still knows how to steal the show! And Cher was certainly excited before her performance.

The Voice finale was full of performance after performance after performance. From Christina Aguilera and Pitbull to an iconic performance by Cher, we almost forgot that someone had to go home. So, did one of birthday boy Blake Shelton‘s contestants win to make it a three-peat? Or did Usher‘s star rise to the top?

‘The Voice’ Results

It all came down to Team Usher V. Team Blake. Michelle Chamuel put on three rockin’ performances on the 17th; the Swon Brothers hit every note of their falsetto; and Danielle Bradbery‘s matchup with Blake was ultimate perfection.

Unfortunately, there could only be one winner.

After Swon Borthers landed in third, it all came down to Michelle v. Danielle — Usher v. Blake.

And the winner is … DANIELLE BRADBERY! At 16, she’s the youngest in the competition and she won it all!

And, that means Blake won the three-peat — on his birthday. Talk about a good birthday gift.

Christina Aguilera Returns For ‘The Voice’ Finale

It was quite the party on the finale of The Voice. Not only was it Blake’s birthday, so he was enjoying his “special latte,” of course — but it also was full of A-listers!

Voice alum Christina Aguilera returned to perform “Feel This Moment” with Pitbull; Florida Georgia Line and Nelly, who paired up for an entertaining performance of “Cruise;” and Bruno Mars, who hit the stage with a pre-recorded performance of “Treasure.”

Hunter Hayes took the stage for a performance of “I Want Crazy” with finalist Danielle. Later, Michelle was joined by One Republic to sing “Counting Stars.” Country duo the Swon Brothers were joined by the legendary Bob Seger.

Then, for the first time in over ten years, Cher hit the stage and debuted her new hit, “Women’s World.” This will also be the name of her new album to be released on September 24 — it will be her first album in 12 years.

Final 3 Brings Back Old Faces

The final three weren’t ready for a last performance — and they didn’t want to do it alone, so each finalist chose some of their favorite contestants from the season to join them on stage.

The Swon Brothers brought back Amber Carrington, Justin Rivers and Holly Tucker for “Stars Tonight.”

Danielle’s bring back performance included Amber, Caroline Glazer and Sarah Simmons for “All American Girl.”

Michelle brought back Josiah Hawley, Vedo, and Cathia to reunite Team Usher, singing “We Can Work It Out.”

Old contestants Josiah, Vedo, Kris Thomas and Garrett Gardner performed of “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg.”  Even Holly made a appearance, showing off her saxophone skills! Then Judith Hill, Karina Iglesias, Sasha Allen and Cathia returned for “My Lovin.”
