Twin sisters Jess and Lisa Origliasso, of the band The Veronicas, tell HollywoodLife.com exclusively that their secret to looking good while working late on their new album is red lipstick and that their new album has a surprising new sound.

“Drinks lots of water, get at least 6 hours of sleep and red lipstick,” suggests Lisa for getting ready in a flash.

Jess uses these tricks too, but throws in a happy face.

“I also make sure to drinks lots of water, and I always need moisturizer. Hair shine spray is always a nice touch as well. And a nice smile.”

There’s a lot to look forward to in The Veronicas upcoming album.

“This is a really new sound for us. It’s a mixture of different things. There is a really specific rhythmic influence that took quite a bit of time to make our own. We’re working with producer Nellee Hooper who is working in the trip-hop and drum and bass sound so that really influences our new sound,” explained the girls. “We have taken the time to write really great melodic songs. There’s definitely a rock undercurrent because we grew up around rock & roll. It’s a regression from our last record because it’s been about three years so we’ve tried to mix in a lot of different things since then.”

The sisters took time out of their hectic recording schedule to participate in the presentation that benefitted a great cause.

“A portion of the proceeds of some of the clothing will be going to the American Red Cross,” Boy Meets Girl(R) designer Stacy Igel tells HollywoodLife.com. “When I first launched the line ten years ago, I did the same thing because 9/11 had just happened. My line was fused color-wise and energy-wise from 9/11 because my first show was scheduled to occur on that day in 2001. Every piece in the line has a different component from the ten years that I’ve been in business. It’s been reconstructed and hand-painted with red and blue elements.”

Ashley Hebert is acting like a true New York celebrity! The reality star just moved to the Big Apple and she’s already heading to New York Fashion Week and she’s walking in a show. “They are attending the show and they’re really excited about it,” our source says. “She’s even going to be the first model walking in the show and she’s so nervous! Stacy and Ashley’s publicists are friends and that’s how they got connected to do this!”

The event’s theme is “Americana” in honor of September 11 and it’s not only the 10 year anniversary of the tragedy but it’s also the 10 year anniversary of Boy Meets Girl. The presentation will have a runway element with nine looks and even the hit Australian band The Veronicas will be performing.

This will be the ultimate night out for these reality stars!
