Chris Brown gave his most revealing interview yet after previewing his new single “Fine China” on the Today show. Host Matt Lauer asked him very pointed questions about his relationship with Rihanna, their difficult past and his commitment to domestic violence counseling. Chris didn’t hesitate to answer all of Matt’s questions without becoming defensive or upset. In fact, he was humble and forthcoming, while looking extremely comfortable giving his responses. Good for Chris!

“I think its just me proving myself once again and also just me being a man and knowing that what I did was wrong and never doing it again,” Chris told Matt. “As far as me and her are concerned, she knows my heart and I know her heart so I’m not really focused on the negative everything about it is positive for me – I did my 52 weeks of counseling and learned that it was absolutely wrong.”

Matt then quoted an old interview with Rihanna, where she said “I thought I hated Chris. I realized I have to forgive him. I started living again.” Matt then said to Chris “If you do this again, you’re going to ruin her rep as well as yours, you know that?” Chris replied: ”Absolutely, absolutely. That’s why I’m moving forward, positive.”

It’s great that Chris has realized the severity of his situation, and that he really cannot let Rihanna down again.

Chris Brown Talks About Getting Help After Rihanna Assault

Chris revealed to Matt that he “wanted” to get help following his assault on Rihanna in 2009.

“It was domestic violence counseling, 52 week program every Monday in Virginia. I remember going and was just like ‘why did I do what I did?’ I really wanted to just get help.”

He also promised Matt that he will “absolutely” never hit Rihanna again.

Matt asked Chris if he thought his fans would give him a chance, and he remains positive.

“For me it’s about proving myself to my fans and my fans have been the number one support for me so I think the naysayers will have their opinions, anything I do whether it be walking down the street, I might say something to somebody. It’s not going to be always “Chris is the greatest” so I’m not going to focus my life on pleasing the people. I can please my family and myself and her and my fans.”

Poor Hoda Kotb. Kathie Lee Gifford lured her into making the most private of revelations — Hoda’s private area is shaped like a “landing strip” – and then she told her that it’s just “wrong!”

Was it the wine? Was it the St. Patrick’s Day green-colored beer that the ladies were drinking on Friday, March 15th’s episode of Today?

In any case, Hoda couldn’t stop blushing after Kathie Lee continued to needle her – “it is a new landing strip? No one likes an old landing strip!” Not to worry though, Hoda confirmed “everything’s new.”

“Hoda just told the whole world she has a landing strip!” Kathie Lee said, looking shocked. Hoda, clearly embarrassed added that she didn’t even realize what she had said until Kathie Lee repeated it. “Those things live in infamy!”

The co-hosts were covering a report done by TheFrisky.com about personal grooming when Hoda’s confession slipped out. So, what about Kathie Lee?

“I only do what I need to do,” Kathie Lee said, but Hoda kept asking what that meant. “It only matters to the person that has access! I love you, but you’re not my type.”

Oh, it gets better.

“I’m the one that believes that whatever God created on this planet is beautiful, sometimes gardens need tending, however it doesn’t mean it’s not still a garden.”

Valerie Harper, 73, made the tragic announcement on March 6 that she had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, and in two new interviews she revealed how scared she is. The iconic TV actress appeared on The Today Show on March 11 to talk about her tragic illness, and she told host Savannah Guthrie that she “doesn’t want to go” but she is ready to say “bye bye” to her family. On The Doctors, she admitted that she wants to be “less afraid of death.” So inspirational.

Valerie Harper Talks About Her Illness On ‘The Today Show’

Valerie looked stunning when she appeared on The Today Show, and she certainly did not look like someone who has been given three months to live. She opened up to Savannah, and admitted that her terminal illness scares her.

“It is incurable so far,” said Valerie, who admitted that “she is ready to say bye bye” to her family. She was so sad and honest when she said “I don’t wanna go” and “I’m scared. I’m scared for my family.”

The Rhoda star even revealed that she has tried to reason with her cancer!

“I said listen you little guys [the cancerous cells], you can live if you don’t kill me.”

Valerie said her husband of 34 years, Tony Cacciotti, “got hit like a ton of bricks” by the diagnosis, but they are “committed to facing this challenge together.”

Valerie was also interviewed on The Doctors on March 11, where the doctors noted that her brain cancer could be a secondary cancer related to the lung cancer she suffered in 2009.

Valerie Opens Up About Her Cancer On ‘The Doctors’

Following her Today Show interview, Valerie sat down with the The Doctors doctors Travis Stork, Lisa Masterson, and Andrew Ordon, along with her own team of doctors to examine her diagnosis of brain cancer.

“What I have is rare. It’s also incurable, so far. [Those are the words] I’m looking up — ‘so far’ — because they’re doing research as we speak,” Valerie told the doctors. ”More than anything, I’m living in the moment.”

“I really want Americans and all of us to be less afraid of death,” said the inspirational Valerie. ”Know that it’s a passage, but don’t go to the funeral before the day of the funeral. While you’re living, live.”

Valerie admitted that she has broken down several times over her illness.

“I have moments of really sobbing, but I let myself do it. I really cry and then I go, ‘OK, you’ve been the drama queen. Are you over it? OK, now, make the pasta.’ And I do.”

Valerie was then shocked by surprise appearances by former co-stars Ed Asner and Cloris Leachman. Ed said via telephone ”I think you’re the greatest.”

“I’m absolutely devastated by this news. Valerie has given such joy, laughter and love to the world. I join her fans and send much love and positive thoughts to her and her family during this difficult time.” said Valerie’s former co-star Mary Tyler Moore.

Valerie then admitted that her loving husband Tony knew about her diagnosis before she did.

“I didn’t get [the diagnosis] because my husband hid it,” Valerie shared. “Poor baby. He was so bereft. [The doctors] said there is nothing we can do for her, and [she has] three to six months, maybe.”

The doctors admitted that Valerie’s cancer is extremely rare.

“I’ve taken care of over 10,000 patients with lung cancer in my career, and I’ve never seen this exact presentation,” said Dr. Ronald Natale.

“The blood-brain barrier is part of the problem with brain tumors, explained Dr. Rudnick. “This blood-brain barrier, from an evolutionary standpoint, was designed to protect us. It was there to protect you against bacteria and infections, but unfortunately, now, what we find is that this barrier also protects us against chemotherapy.”

Valerie finished her interview by saying that she had been overwhelmed by the amount of support she had gotten from her fans and the public.

“There’s so much love out there for me. It’s been great. It’s been an actually lovely experience for me.”

Valerie Reveals She Has Terminal Brain Cancer

In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, The Mary Tyler Moore star bravely announced that she has been diagnosed with leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, a rare kind of cancer where cancer cells fill the fluid membrane surrounding the brain.

“I don’t think of dying. I think of being here now,” Valerie says. ”I’m well past my expiration date already.”

Valerie is so inspirational. She has remained so upbeat and positive with her diagnosis, and her main concern is her family.

Pattie then said it is “tough letting go and letting our kids make the mistakes they need to make” as they get older. So she is openly admitting that Justin letting Selena go is a mistake! She added that she hopes Justin will “learn from my mistakes” as he gets older.

Like many Jelena fans, Pattie wants the pop pair to get back together. Considering that Justin and Selena are both in NYC at the moment, she may get her wish!

Pattie Talks About Justin’s ‘SNL’ Gig

Justin is in New York to host Saturday Night Live on Feb. 9, for which they have already released a funny promo video.

Speaking about Justin’s new comedy gig, Pattie said, “I think we’re both nervous! He’s been rehearsing all week and practicing and helping write skits. He’s excited.”

On the Nov. 20 episode of TODAY, Jenna Bush interviewed her grandmother Barbara Bush about Barbara’s daughter Robin Bush, who was diagnosed with leukemia at age 3 in 1953.

Jenna asked her grandmother how she could tell that Robin was getting sick. Barbara recalled, “She was lifeless. She had a few blood tests, and the doctor called and said she had leukemia. The doctor said she is going to die. Take her home, love her, and she will die in 2 weeks.”

Barbara said that they took her all over the country for chemo, but seven months later, when she was almost four, she died.

“I was holding her hair, her little head, and I saw her spirit go,” Barbara says.

Barbara and her husband George Bush decided to donate Robin’s body for research. She recalls it being an easy decision and said that she felt good “knowing something good was coming out of a precious life.” However, her friends criticized the decision as it was a very forward-thinking decision in the 50′s.

Robin has never been forgotten as Barbara thinks of her often.

“Maybe more recently the last three or four years than before,” she says. “We are getting older, and Robin to me is like a joy, an angel — not a sadness or sorrow.”

Robert Pattinson has participated in many interviews over the length of his career. During the Nov. 8 episode of the Today show, Savannah Guthrie went right for the juicy details that we all want to know and asked Rob about his relations with Breaking Dawn Part 2 co-star Kristen Stewart! 

“Is it awkward watching a love scene like that,” Savannah asked Rob after showing a preview clip from Breaking Dawn Part 2. “What have I got all over my legs?” Rob quickly asked, then proceeded by saying, “Sorry what was the question?”

“I don’t even remember,” Savannah said, perhaps taking a hint from Rob’s interest at changing the subject.

Further into the interview, Savannah pressured Rob into revealing details of his relationship with Kristen, as she gave a mysterious response during her own Today show interview on Nov. 7. ”Yesterday, I had asked Kristen if you and she had gotten back together. Did you see what she said?”

“Uh, no. What did she say?” Rob asked.

“She said, ‘Keep them guessing,” Savannah responded.

“I want to ask, because we get asked it all the time. Who is actually asking? Is it in your contract?” Rob politely jabbed back.

Rob goes on to say that interviews don’t need to get personal and he can go on and talk about nonsense like taking a nap. It seems like his plan worked because Savannah moved on to questions about nicknames and didn’t pry for an answer about his relationship with Kristen.

Rory Staunton, an ambitious 12-year-old, cut his arm during a basketball game in PE class. Later that evening, he experienced strange symptoms that left him vomiting with a severe pain in his leg. Although his parents sought medical help immediately and took all the right steps, Rory suffered from a bacterial infection and tragically died. His parents went on the Today show to speak out about their loss.

Rory, a well-rounded middle school student, is lovingly remembered by his family.  The boy was a member of his school’s debate team, and very close with his little sister.

But Rory’s life was cut tragically short when a small scrape he received playing basketball became infected, killing him of Toxic Shock Syndrome. What started as a minor injury quickly escalated into an infected wound.

Apparently, as soon as the night after Rory was injured, he experienced debilitating pain.

“A little after midnight I heard him in the bathroom throwing up,” his mom, Orlaith Staunton, said on Today. “So I went in. He was screaming with a pain in his leg. He said, ‘It’s my leg, mom. It’s my leg.’”

Rory’s pain escalated as his parents took him to the pediatrician.  His sickness was initially diagnosed as a stomach virus, but further blood work revealed that his white blood count was exceptionally high, but the Staunton family says that they were never informed of this.

Eventually, the hospitals informed the Stauntons that their son was suffering from sepsis, which causes bodily inflammation and a serious infection. Hospitals administered various treatments to try to fight off the infection, but by April 1, Rory’s condition was rendered deadly. He died later that day in the ER.

The Stauntons have started a website in memorial of their beloved son, and they want to spread information about deadly infections like Rory’s, so that other parents don’t have to deal with the loss of a child.

What a tragedy. We at HollyBaby are wishing the best for the Staunton family, and our hearts are with them after the death of their son.
