Just a few short before news broke on Jan. 30 that Dan Marino had cheated on his wife of 28 years, Claire, and secretly fathered a love child seven years ago with Donna Savattere, a former CBS Sports production assistant, the football legend appeared as a guest on The Talk, where he readily accepted applause from the audience when his happy family was mentioned. Who knew what his family was about to go through?

Dan, 51, appeared on a special edition of the CBS morning show, filmed live in CBS Super Bowl Park at Jackson Square in the heart of the historic French Quarter in New Orleans, to preview the upcoming Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3. When he sat, one of the ladies on the panel mentioned, “You are a happily married father of six,” which drew an enthusiastic round of applause from the audience. Dan smiled as the audience lauded him, but did he have any idea what was about to happen in his life?

Dan Marino Confirms Love Child With Donna Savattere

Later that same day, Dan confirmed his affair with Donna, saying in a statement, “This is a personal and private matter. I take full responsibility both personally and financially for my actions now as I did then. We mutually agreed to keep our arrangement private to protect all parties involved.”

“My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years and have six children together,” he wrote on what ironically was his 28th wedding anniversary with Claire. “And we continue to be a strong and loving family.”

Dan and Donna’s daughter Chloe, 7, was born in June of 2005 and is currently being raised by Donna and her husband, Nahil Younis, whom she married in 2009.

Hey all you Kardashian fans, aside from your Sunday night ritual with E!, now you can turn your TV to CBS for a daily dose of Kris Jenner! The matriarch of the Kardashians — and Jenners — will be guest co-hosting The Talk for two weeks next month!

“Hi dolls!!! I’m so excited to tell you that I have been invited by the producers of The Talk to guest co-host for two weeks in September!” Kris shared on August 25. “I can’t wait to join the ladies and I know this will be such a fun experience.”

Kris, 55, will also be the permanent substitute for Sharon Osbourne when she can’t appear. Wow, what a gig! The other hosts include Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen and Sheryl Underwood. Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete have not yet signed contracts for next season, which premieres September 6.

But that’s not all. “I’ll also be guest co-hosting on The Today Show later this year!” Kris wrote on her blog. “Stay tuned for all the info on that! Love you dolls!!!”

Kris Jenner went under the knife and she’s proud of it! The reality star indulged The Talk‘s host Sharon Osbourne by revealing her reasoning behind the invasive cosmetic procedure.“I needed a little freshening up for the wedding,” Kris says of her daughter Kim Kardashian‘s upcoming nuptials to Kris Humphries. “Just doing what a girl’s gotta do!”

If you tune into the July 24 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians you’ll actually get to see Kris before, during and immediately after surgery!

“She looks amazing,” Khloe recently said of her mom’s new face. “They say you are supposed to have a lot of swelling for a week or so after, but I didn’t notice.”

Things get awkward when Biebs is handled by the ladies of ‘The Talk!’

Justin Bieber is a pro at promotional appearances, but when the hosts of The Talk tried to muss up his hair, things got pretty intense!

Holly Robinson Peete tried to put one of the show’s purple baseball caps on Justin’s head, but he quickly pushed it off, saying “No, no, no. Don’t touch my hair!” He then tried to redo his coif as quickly as he could, looking a little peeved during the process.

Biebs needs to look amazing and he can’t do that if everyone’s screwing up his style!

Don’t you love that Sofia Vergara is tired of being bullied because she’s not a scary skinny and is speaking out against it?

“Someone told me I should lose weight,” she confessed to Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen and Holly Robinson Peete on The Talk show on  Feb. 21. It turns out that before she became infamous for her sexy mama role on Modern Family, she couldn’t borrow a dress for a red carpet event to save her life. They were size zeros and “they’d only come up to there. (she pointed to her hips) It was a nightmare.”

Frustrated stylists advised the 5 ‘ 7 ” Columbian bombshell who only actually weighs 125 pounds to lose weight and they waved photos of other, much skinnier actresses before her eyes. She was tortured with comments like “See, they look great on the red carpet.”

Sofia’s brilliant response — “They might look better in pictures, but I look better naked!”

How true! There’s nothing men like more than a woman’s body that has flesh and curves. Skin and bones do not a sexy body make. Women agree. Both sexes have told us numerous times in Hollywoodlife.com surveys, including our most recent skinny vs. curvy poll, that curvy is hotter.

In a memorable episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8 Alexis takes care of Aaden when he has a stomach bug, and tells the cameraman, “Aaden is my buddy.”

Heidi Klum and Seal‘s four kids Leni, 6, Henry, 5, Johan, 4, and Lou, 1, have a very special relationship and always look out for one another. “My kids are buddies,” Heidi said to Babble. Before little Lou was born, Heidi’s daughter Leni wished for a sister and told her mom, “I’m going to help you and I’m going to change the diapers and I’m going to be a really good sister.” And she got her wish!

Sara Gilbert is one of the hosts of The Talk, but to many she’ll always be remembered as the sarcastic middle child, Darlene on the 90′s sitcom Roseanne!

Sara Gilbert turns 36 today! The former Roseanne star has been back in the spotlight lately as executive producer and co-host of The Talk, which focuses on all the challenges, joys and dramas of parenthood. Sara is a mother herself, as the parent of two children with her partner, writer Allison Adler. Her son Levi Hank is 6, and daughter Sawyer is 3.

“I have two kids and I had joined this group for second-time moms,” she tells Examiner.com about how The Talk began. “We sat around and talked about our kids and different issues that came up about the world in general and gossip in our lives. I thought, what if we did that kind of show? One that was centered on a group of friends that all have kids?” The Talk was recently renewed for a second season and we hope there will be many more! Nicole Richie sat down with the ladies of The Talk today (Jan. 4), to discuss her healthy take on motherhood — she’s an eco-mom! “We don’t use battery-operated toys, we don’t use plastic,” Nicole, 29, explains. “Sugar is obviously a big no-no.” So much so that Nicole’s kids — with husband Joel Madden — Harlow, 2½, and Sparrow, 1, eat “sugar-free vegan cupcakes!”

Nicole and Joel’s kids did a great job at their wedding!

“I was at a birthday party and there was a cupcake with all this pink icing and there was a blueberry on top of the cupcake,” Nicole says, “and Harlow looked at it and her eyes got so wide and she was like ‘Ohh,’ and I was like, ‘Oh boy, here we go,’ and she was like ‘Blueberries!’ So I went to the kitchen and got her a whole thing of blueberries. And she was happy.”

Looks like Nicole’s healthy plan is working! “They’re children. Their brains are developing, their bodies are developing,” Nicole says. “You have to pay attention about what goes into their bodies and what they’re around, it’s important.”

Nicole: ‘As a mother I have to protect my children’

Sadly though, her partner in crime Joel, 31, has a totally different style of parenting! “Joel is not on the same page as me,” she says. “My kids don’t have dairy either, but Joel does take Harlow out and she comes back and I say, ‘How was your dinner?’ and she says, ‘Good, we had pizza!’ I’m like, ‘OK, OK.’” But Nicole understands that every parent has a different way of doing things, even if that means pizza every now and then for her kiddies. “I have my own ways, Joel is not me and I have to let him be a dad and I have to let him do his thing,” she explains. “And that’s their relationship. It’s not an everyday thing, but it’s not necessarily something I agree with.”

What Nicole and Joel both seem to agree on for now is that more children are out of the question. “Right now, no,” Nicole says, “I need a nap. I need a minute.” She is happy as any mother would be and glad that her two children love each other and get along. “They’re great,” she says, “Harlow is very great with him [Sparrow] and very gentle. They are best friends.”
