The final 12 episodes of ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager begin March 18, and if you think you’re surprised that the long-running drama is actually coming to an end, just imagine how the cast feels! ”It’s going to be really sad to watch the last episode, because that’s it,” Megan Park tells HollywoodLife.com of the series finale, which airs June 3.

“I remember first meeting [Shailene Woodley] at the wardrobe fitting before we filmed the pilot,” she recalls. “She was 15 then, and she was with her mom, and I was with my mom. It’s so crazy!”

“I can’t wait to see the last episode,” adds Daren Kagasoff. “It’s the last time we were all together as a cast, so it’s close to my heart.”

Will Ricky & Amy Get Married?

One of the biggest events of the final 12 episodes — assuming it actually happens — is the highly anticipated wedding of Amy and Ricky. But you’ll have to wait until the big day comes, because Daren isn’t giving up anything.

“There are definitely some obstacles, and I can’t even say if we do get married or if we don’t,” he says. Let’s just say she gets a wedding dress, and it wasn’t one that I necessarily would have picked out.”

How Will It All End? Who Will End Up With Who?

Not only did Megan not “envision” Grace’s story ending the way it does, but she actually sounds a little disappointed.

“I didn’t want this ending,” Megan admits. “But it makes sense. I can see why they decided to do this with my character. It’s definitely, definitely not the ending I was expecting.”

Sadly, she can’t say whether or not Grace’s ending involves a happily-ever-after with Jack (Greg Finley), but she promises fans are in for more than one shocker.

“I was really surprised to see who everyone ends up with, and where they end up, and what they’re doing,” she hints. “It’s real, but it’s not what everybody’s going to want.”

While Daren agrees the series doesn’t end the way he predicted, he think the characters are exactly where they belong.

“The ending is unbelievable,” he says. “I think it all ended correctly. When we were informed we weren’t coming back, [creator Brenda Hampton] had to scramble to come up with an ending, and I think the way she did it was phenomenal.”

It’s been less than 24 hours since ABC Family announced that The Secret Life of the American Teenager will end after its current fifth season — new episodes begin airing in March — and star Renee Olstead is still in the mourning process. “I’m going to really miss filming with my Secret Life family,” Renee told me when she stopped by HollywoodLife.com on Oct. 10. “But I promise this last season is going to be incredible.”

Of course, I couldn’t let Renee go without trying to squeeze a spoiler (or two) out of her.

“I think the last few episodes are going to get pretty crazy,” Renee said. “I know we’ve been waiting on a wedding for a really long time, so I feel like that could be in the works. Plus, Ben and Amy could make a resurgence, who knows!”

Well, whatever the final batch of episodes holds for The Secret Life‘s alarmingly fertile crew, one thing’s for sure: We’ll be watching!

Brando Eaton is no stranger to high school drama, but how will he fare when it all plays out in court?

HollywoodLife.com has learned exclusively that Brando, 26, will guest star on a fall episode of CBS’ Made In Jersey as Doug Hartsock, a star athlete whose dad sues his high school after his coaches ignore a concussion that costs him a pro-football career.

Depending on your TV viewing habits, you’ll either recognize Brando from his current recurring role as gay-best-friend Griffin on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager — a part he’s played since 2009 — or as Jonah Mitchell, the son of John Lithgow‘s Arthur on Dexter. He’s also popped up on major cable hits like Burn Notice and American Horror Story.

Brando gushed about his latest gig Aug. 4 on Twitter:

“I’m In New York filming a new show called Made in Jersey for CBS,” Brando tweeted. “Fun cast and crew, and I’ve been having a great time so far :)”

Made In Jersey premieres Sept. 28 at 9 p.m. on CBS.

Just when I thought The Secret Life of the American Teenager couldn’t get any more sexified, this summer’s batch of drama brought even more scandals — teen marriage and lesbian experimentation, to name a few — and Francia Raisa‘s Adrian has her sassy, well-manicured hand in all of it. HollywoodLife.com chatted with the Teen Choice and Imagen Award nominee for the scoop on what else fans can expect in season five, including whether Adrian will try to steal Ricky (Daren Kagasoff) away from Amy (Shailene Woodley).

Congratulations on your nominations! How are you feeling?

I’m excited! It’s my first [Teen Choice] nomination, and it’s for Choice Scene Stealer. It’s four days before my birthday and, you know, a surfboard would be a pretty good gift. [Click here to sign in and vote for Fransia!]

‘Scene stealer’ is the perfect way to describe Adrian.

Thank you, I agree.

Except maybe ‘boyfriend stealer.’

Either one works. I think I would unanimously win that one. Hands down.

I still can’t believe season five started the week after season four ended. When are you guys not working?

We literally have our vacation during the holiday, and that’s it. From February to November, we shoot. But I don’t mind it. I hate sitting on my butt. If I don’t work more than a day on an episode, I ask [creator Brenda Hampton] for more to do.

Onto season five, will we see Grace and Adrian rebuilding their rocky friendship?

It’s only rocky because Grace freaked out. We were experimenting, like I’m sure a lot of people to do. But they’re friends, and at the end of the day, she’ll get over it. It’s not like Adrian did something malicious to her. She’s just a little freaked out. The friendship will always be there, though.

Any chance there will be more experimenting in the future?

I never know what’s going on. I’ll think a storyline is done, but then it’ll come back. I think the show catches me by surprise as much as it captures the fans by surprise. Sometimes I’ll get a script and go, ‘Wait, what?’ So hey, maybe Adrian will meet a girl some day, and say, ‘This is who I love!’

Hey, you never know. She has pretty much run out of guys in town.

The boyfriend she has now breaks up with her every five minutes. She doesn’t really want to be with him, but he’s there, so she’ll take what she can get.

Do you think she could still have feelings for Ricky, even though he’s married?

I love that she says she’s not, because I definitely think she is. You can’t really just get over your first love like that. Their relationship was so passionate that I think they’ll always have a special place in each other’s heart. That’s one of the reasons why Ricky said he can’t be friends with Adrian. He needed to push her away to have a relationship with Amy.

And how will their marriage change the dynamic of the group?

Even though they’re married, Ricky will still be a bad boy. And who knows, some random girl might come in and sweep him off his feet! You can’t live happily ever after on this show. There will always be drama.

And most of it will end up on ‘The Soup.’ How do you feel about being on there so much?

Oh my gosh, I love it! I love it so much. I started TiVoing The Soup. I love that they make fun of us!

Looking ahead, how would you like to see Adrian change?

I have so much fun with everything she does, so I hope Adrian keeps doing things to make the show more interesting. I guess I’m supposed to say I hope she grows up and matures, but I have too much fun playing crazy.

The current TV season may be reaching its very end, but don’t forget there’s a whole slew of summers shows on the horizon! From Pretty Little Liars to True Blood, this week’s “Spoiler Party” has all the scoop your favorite upcoming summer series.

Pretty Little Liars

Mover over, Mona (Janel Parrish). There’s a new villain in Rosewood, and this one’s gender ambiguous! According to ABC Family, the upcoming third season of Pretty Little Liars will introduce viewers to a new “A,” and “he/she” will use Aria’s (Lucy Hale) “past indiscretions” against her. The fun will really begin on the June 12 episode, when “A” sends the girls a “gruesome reminder” that no one is safe. Want to see the new “A” in action? Watch this clip of Aria being attacked in the bathroom from the season premiere!

True Blood

Fans hoping for a legit reunion between former lovers Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) will probably disappointed with season five — at least at first. According to HBO, a sexy vampire from Eric’s past (Lucy Griffiths as Nora) will resurface in the premiere episode. She’s a member of the Vampire Authority, and she’s got big plans for Eric and his new BFF Bill (Stephen Moyer). It sounds like this will free Sookie up for Alcide (Joe Manganiello), which makes their hookup in the season five trailer seem a lot less random.

Jane By Design

Jane (Erica Dasher) has a brush with fame on the June 12 episode of Jane By Design when Donovan Decker has to impress hot-shot celebrity Aiden Redmond. And considering Jane has a tendency to click with good-looking dudes — see Billy (Nick Roux), Nick (Matthew Atkinson) and Jeremy (Rowly Dennis) — I wouldn’t be too surprised to see some sparks fly between them.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager

The fourth season hasn’t even ended, but the fifth is already around the corner — and it sounds Amy (Shailene Woodley) and Ricky (Darren Kagasoff) have big plans for the equally big premiere. When season five kicks off June 11, the show’s star couple suddenly disappears, leaving their friends and family wondering if they decided to elope. But did they? We’ll get our answer June 18 when the twosome comes home.

The L.A. Complex

The CW’s Canada-born sudser airs its big finale May 29, and Benjamin Charles Watson tells me we’ll see Tariq’s relationship with Kaldrick (Andra Fuller) at its darkest. “I actually went home that night and cried,” he tells me about shooting their final scene together. “I was like, ‘Holy snap. This is really intense.’ It’s hard to explain, but it was such an intense scene. Those are real tears coming out of my eyes.” (I’ve had the pleasure — or rather displeasure — of seeing the scene in question, and trust me, you’ll freak out!)

On The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Madison (Renee Olstead) is learning the hard way that it doesn’t pay to be slutty. Lauren (Camille Winbush) and Amy (Shailene Woodley) still haven’t forgiven her for sleeping with Lauren’s boyfriend Jesse (Austin Stowell) — and it doesn’t look like they’re going to give in any time soon. ”It’s going to be a while before Amy and Lauren let her back in the friend circle,” Renee tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.

“At her core, she’s still a follower,” Renee says of Madison. “By sleeping with her friend’s boyfriend, she was just trying to validate herself. I think she validates herself through other people, and that’s something she’s never strayed too far from. By nature, she’s someone who wants to get approval from other people.”

Renee says Madison will spend the rest of the season trying to earn back the girls’ trust, and her journey might just lead her down a whole new path.

“Anyone who lost their best friends would be jumping through hoops trying to get them back,” Renee says. “She doesn’t feel like she’s a part of them, and she’s realizing how hard it is to make it without her best friends. There’s going to be a lot of internal struggle for Madison.”

Renee Olstead couldn’t have looked any less like her Secret Life of the American Teenager character April 10 at NYLON‘s 13th anniversary celebration in Hollywood. She looked amazing in an Opening Ceremony dress, paired with a Comme de Garcon jacket and Jeffrey Campbell shoes — but it might surprise her fans to learn that Renee, who describes her personal style as “quirky,” has some very strong opinions when it comes to fashion’s place in our lives.

“I love fashion, and I love dressing up, but I don’t think it’s a necessity,” says Renee, who regularly blogs for The Huffington Post about issues affecting teens and young adults. “I think we need to remind people they aren’t their handbags. It doesn’t speak to what kind of person you are or what your values are. It’s fun to dress up and wear silly things that I think are amazing, but … it’s more important to understand our values in society without labels.”

That said, Renee has become kind of a pro at whipping up outfits and accessories that speak to her personal style.

“I just made this baseball hat I’m really excited about,” she tells us. “You know all those ‘Los Angeles Kings’ hats? I made one that says ‘Los Angeles Queens’ that I can wear when I go see all my drag friends.”

On the April 2 episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, nearly everyone wound up in summer school. Some by choice; others… not so much.

Over at Ricky (Daren Kagasoff) and Amy’s (Shailene Woodley) apartment, Ricky couldn’t understand why Amy wanted to go to summer school. He thought Amy should be working to earn a little extra money and spending time with John. Amy tried to rationalize her decision, but the only thing she managed to convince me of is that she’s a whiner. Did anyone else feel like she was fighting simply for the sake of fighting?

Further putting a strain on their relationship was Ethan, who was starting school with Amy. Ricky warned Amy not to treat Ethan like a friend, but Amy didn’t listen to him, thinking all Ethan needed was love and trust. How wrong she was! Right after she stood up for him to Ricky, Ethan could be seen peering through the doorway, watching Ricky show Amy where he hid their money.

Meanwhile, after catching Ben (Ken Baumann) smoking pot with Dylan (Ana Lucasey), Mr. Boykevich forbade him from seeing her. He also decided to punish Ben by sending him to summer school. Ben knew his dad was only trying to get him to repair his friendship with Henry, who was also going to summer school, but Ben — still upset over Henry’s betrayal — wanted nothing to do with him.

A little later, Ben managed to show himself up in the stupidity department when he forgot to both turn the ringer off on his secret cell phone and lock his door (again!), all but inviting his dad to find out he was still speaking to Dylan. His punishment? His dad hired a chauffeur/babysitter/bodyguard to make sure he stayed away from Dylan, whose own parents had forbidden her from seeing Ben, thinking he’s a drug addict. “He’s skinny as a rail,” her mother reasoned. Now there’s sound logic.

Elsewhere, Grace (Megan Park) skipped her first day of MedCamp and surprised Adrian (Francia Raisa) by telling her she’s moving in with her and going to summer school. After Grace didn’t show up to MedCamp, all hundred of her love interests (both past and present) went out looking for her. But Grace didn’t need them to help her realize she had made a mistake. She regretted her decision as soon as she realized Adrian, who’d fallen hard for Omar, was breaking their no-boyfriends rule. Unfortunately for Grace, she got kicked out of MedCamp for lying about where she’d been.

At summer school, everyone was turning on everyone. Literally, no one was safe. Lauren (Camille Winbush) targeted Madison, Alice railed on Adrian — heck, even Ben took a swipe at Amy. At one point, Madison went so far as to call John a mistake! If every class is going to be even half as awkward as their first, then these kids are in for a rough summer!

That same day, Ethan got caught stealing condoms, believing he had a shot with Madison (Renee Olstead), and got suspended. Realizing she had made a mistake, Amy apologized to Ricky. She even managed make it up to him by hiding their stash of money before Ethan could get his hands on it!

Later that night, Ben admitted to his father he got the pot from Dylan’s friends. He defended his decision to lie, explaining how much he cares about her.

Finally, Jack (Greg Finley II) showed up at Adrian’s, where he professed his love for Grace and asked her to give their relationship another chance. Grace rejected his advances, explaining she needs to keep her promise to her mother and focus on school.
