Despite being a Mariah Carey track, “All I Want For Christmas Is You” is basically the Madonna of Christmas classics. The chart-topper finds a new way to reinvent itself every year — from that little girl singing it in 2003′s Love Actually to Justin Bieber giving it a touch of swag on his 2011 album Under the Mistletoe — but we think this is our favorite version yet!

Mariah performed her holiday hit with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots on the Dec. 4 episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and the acoustic rendition is as much a treat for the ears as it is for the eyes.

What happens when a hardcore guitar god meets a young, wholesome boy bander? Don’t worry, no puppies were hurt when Kevin and Slash came face to face

You wouldn’t expect Disney boy bander Kevin Jonas, 22, to have anything in common with former Guns & Roses rocker Slash, 44, but the two dudes still managed to find things to talk about when the checked out The Roots’ Jam Session, presented by Vibe and Green Music Group, at LA’s KeyClub Jan. 30.

“Kevin sat down next to Slash in the VIP section at the show, and they chatted while watching The Roots perform,” one eyewitness tells HollywoodLife.com, adding that John Legend joined in the conversation as well.

If only we had been a fly on the wall in THAT room. We imagine the conversation would have gone something like this:

Slash: “So, kid, how you do feel about sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll?”

Kevin: “Is that an energy drink?”
