Emma, 22, steps away from the intimidating shadow of Hermione Granger to bring real heart to Sam, a girl who always chases the guy that breaks her heart. You’ll love seeing how her character learns to handle complications that men bring into her life — she has a great arc!

2) Her male co-stars are also excellent.

Emma lead a strong acting team that includes breakout stars Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller. Logan brings a quiet power to protagonist Charlie, who is desperately trying to escape his troubled past. And Ezra is a revelation as Patrick, a gay youth who struggles to find peace with his closeted boyfriend. Both actors have a LONG future ahead of them based off of these great turns!

3) The film depicts a relatable version of high school life.

So many movies botch showing what teenage years are really like. But Perks gives an honest portrayal, showing that it can be both challenging and wonderful — once you find the friends you fit in with.

Sam and Charlie have a complicated relationship which threads through the whole movie, and it’s a relief to finally see a messy love story portrayed on the big screen — opposed to the typical dreck from romantic comedies.

In the coming of age book-turned-film by Stephen Chbosky, an introverted freshman (Logan Lerman) is taken under the wings by two seniors (Emma Watson and Ezra Miller) who welcome him to the real world.

Emma Watson and Johnny Simmon are dating each other exclusively, sources confirm to HollywoodLife.com.

“Emma and Johnny met shooting The Perks of Being a Wallflower in Pittsburgh, Penn. and have gotten serious fast,” an insider close to Johnny tells us. “She loves how down to earth and normal he is and thinks he’s the nicest guy. He feels the same way about her. She doesn’t act like she’s one of the biggest stars in the world.”

Another source close professionally to the couple says Johnny, 24, and Emma, 21, cannot get enough of each other.

“They have really fallen for one another and both aren’t dating anyone else,” our insider explains. “She once said she’d never move to LA, but I think she’s reconsidering…especially because she’s left Brown and Johnny lives in Los Angeles too.”

Even though she recently said she wouldn’t want to live in California, we wouldn’t be shocked if Emma made the move out west — simply because she also said she wouldn’t ever want to date a fellow actor and look what happened!

“I would love to not date someone in the same industry as me. Otherwise it becomes what it means to everyone else,” the Harry Potter actress told Vogue last spring.

Regardless of whether or not Emma moves to Hollywood, we’re thrilled she’s found love with one of the nicest guys in the biz!
