Robert Pattinson just admitted that he is “not trying to sell his personal life” on GMA, but that didn’t stop New York Times reporter David Carr from asking about his relationship with Twilight star Kristen Stewart.

Although Rob and director David Cronenberg were on the panel to promote their movie Cosmopolis, the moderator steered off course. He compared R-Patz and K-Stew to Prince Charles and Diana, and the audience did not appreciate it. ”So if you and Kristen have trouble it’s like Charles and Di having trouble?” Carr asked.

The audience started booing and Rob squirmed in his seat. A member of the audience yelled out, ”Next question!”

“I think it’s because America really wants to have a royal family,” Rob admitted. “They want to pick their king and queen.” He also pointed out that America’s royalty are Hollywood stars and that they are very similar to real royalty. But, Rob made sure to add, “I wouldn’t go that far.”

In a shocking confession, E! star, Chelsea Handler opens up about her own personal ordeal with teen pregnancy and the choice that changed her life. What’s your take on the Teen Mom issue?

“People are too P.C.,” Chelsea, 36, tells the New York Times. “We need to be focusing on other things. We’re seeking out such grossness in human behavior and want such mindless entertainment. ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ and some of these other shows are more racist. Or ‘16 and Pregnant.’ Getting rewarded for being pregnant when you’re a teenager? Are you serious? I mean, that makes me want to kill somebody.”

Chelsea knows this situation personally, confessing that she was a pregnant teen who decided to take the route she obviously believes in — pro-choice.

“I had an abortion when I was 16. Because that’s what I should have done,” Chelsea blantantly states, obviously slamming with the whole 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom world.

“Otherwise I would now have a 20-year-old kid. Anyway, those are things that people shouldn’t be dishonest about it.”

A new study says that women who take pain medications early in their pregnancy may be exposing their babies to a higher risk of birth defects.

Take note. If you are early-on in your pregnancy, do not take codeine, oxycodone and other opioid pain drugs. A new study suggests that these medications could increase the risk of birth defects in your babies.

“Opioids and their receptors act as growth regulators during embryologic development, which may explain our findings,” the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study’s lead author Cheryl S. Broussard tells The New York Times.

Though the overall numbers were low, babies whose mothers took pain medications were considerably more likely than others to have congenital problems — including a potentially fatal syndrome that affects the development of the left part of the heart — spina bifida and gastroschisis, which causes the intestines to stick out of the body.

The study, which appeared in The American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology, used data from the National Birth Defects Prevention Study about mothers in 10 states who gave birth from 1997 to 2005.

Out of 17,449 whose babies were born with a birth defect, 454, or 2.6 percent, say they took opioid drugs a month before or during the first trimester of their pregnancy. In a comparison group of 6,701 women, the rate of opioid use was 2 percent.

The New York Times is reporting that school photography companies around the country are offering parents — and their kids — the opportunity to retouch their pictures and make them better than ever. All you need to do? Check a small box in the corner of your order form. But is this necessary?

After parents began requesting fixes, like straightening out a bad haircut or replacing a missing tooth, companies started developing more and more technologies that allowed them to put a smile on many parents’ faces. And the amount of retouching requests has risen every year! One company, Lifetouch, which takes about 30 million school pictures a year, says that 10 percent of their photos of elementary school students are altered. And by the seventh grade, the requests go up, the New York area manager for Lifetouch, Joseph Sells says, adding that half of the students in the senior class order retouching. “The media and magazines have exposed our marketplace to people that are well-groomed and well cared for,” he says.

Lifetouch offers different levels of altering, ranging from a $6 “basic” treatment to a $10 to 20 “premium” package to very expensive custom changes! “There’s really not much limit,” he says about what can be tweaked. If you erase things that are on your child’s body every day, then what will a child think when they realize you wanted their “flaw” to be taken away? Photoshop can be a good thing for scabs or “boo-boos” that will eventually fade, but to retouch something that is a part of who your child is seems wrong.

“In some ways, even though they’re trying to help the child’s confidence, it could inadvertently undermine it,” Dr. Bradley S. Peterson of Colombia University told The New York Times. “What supports healthy growth of the child and capacity to love themselves is parental idealization, that this child is perfect, and the apple of one’s eye.” Dr. Peterson says. When a parent tinkers with a photo, “it can inadvertently send a message that ‘I perceive you as less than perfect and not ideal.’ ”

Spaghetti tacos don’t sound very appetizing, but kids love to eat them! After an episode of the Nickelodeon series iCarly featured Carly’s (Miranda Cosgrove) eccentric older brother, Spencer (Jerry Trainor), stuffing spaghetti and tomato sauce into hard taco shells, the unappealing dish has become a hit at the kitchen table! “Clearly, it’s spread like a virus,” Karen Petersen, a mother of two from Rye, N.H., told the New York Times.

How to get your picky eater to try new foods!

After seeing the mixture on TV and eating some at a slumber party, Karen’s daughter Amelia, 11, begged her mom to recreate the dish for dinner! “The mixture of spaghetti and tacos is odd,” Amelia admits. “But it’s actually pretty good. They’re one of my favorite foods. I guess kids like making them because they think it’s cool to be like the people from iCarly.”

And Amelia isn’t the only kid infatuated with the delicious new dish! Reruns of the episode on TV, web searches, slumber parties and simple word of mouth among children have thrown spaghetti tacos into the dining room spotlight. Mom blogs and cooking websites are filled with recipes from dozens of parents who are trying, attempting, or have become skilled pros at preparing the plate. And there’s even a Facebook page with more than 1,200 fans!

Dan Schneider, the creator of iCarly invented the dinner option three years ago. “It was just a little joke I came up with for one episode,” Dan tells the New York Times. “Then it turned into a running joke. And now it’s this thing people actually do.”

“This combination seems to be an inevitability, sort of like chocolate and peanut butter running into each other on that Reese’s commercial,” Robert Thompson, a professor of popular culture at Syracuse University, says. “The amazement should be only that it took iCarly to bring it into our melting pot of a culture.”

Kids can’t seem to get enough of the odd pairing! Cammie Ward Moise, a Houston mom who featured the tacos on her parenting site, Moms Material, says not only do her kids enjoy them, but she likes to eat the tacos as well!  “It’s a great thing to make, especially when you’re having the food battles at home. It’s a fun way to get them excited about eating.” Her children, Taylor, 11, and Myles, 9, love the dish, she says. “It’s something their idol is doing. They love iCarly and would probably eat anything the cast of the show ate.” “Now,” Cammie states, “we just have to get her [Carly] to put broccoli in a taco.”

Bonnie isn’t the only one saying Kristen rocked this movie!

After months of hype, The Runaways is finally in theaters this weekend!
