The Duncan family is never short of good times on Disney Channel’s Good Luck Charlie, but that’ll be put into overdrive this weekend, as the Muppets come to town for a musical comedy experience you’ll have to see to believe!

The Muppets On ‘Good Luck Charlie’

How can it be possible for Good Luck Charlie to become even better then it already is? That’s easy; add the Muppets! During the season premiere this Sunday, the Duncans’ home is devastated by termites, so they decide build their dream house, which excites everyone — well, everyone but Charlie.

However, Teddy (Bridgit Mendler) has a change of heart after a dream in which Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and Animal convince her that the Duncans’ old family home already is the house of her dreams. Sounds pretty incredible, right?

“What a dream come true to work with The Muppets,” Bridgit told HollywoodLife.com during a recent trip to the show’s set. “I think everyone can agree on that!”

Isn’t that the truth! We can’t wait. Make sure to tune in Sunday to Good Luck Charlie — and the Muppets!

The unlikely duo rang in the holiday season by reading The Night Before Christmas together!

O, Christmas tree! Michelle Obama and Kermit the Frog were both on hand to light the 2011 National Christmas Tree Dec. 1 on the Ellipse at President’s Park in Washington, D.C. The merry pair were joined by Santa (of course), host Carson Daly and performances by OneRepublic, Rodney Atkins and Marsha Ambrosius.

Now that his most recent movie, The Muppets, is a big hit, Kermit’s a top celeb! Who better to join the first lady to read the Christmas classic? “You can call me Michelle,” she told him.

“That’s really nice of you,” Kermit replied. “I have to call Miss Piggy ‘Your Majesty.”

Kermit said the story is one of his favorites of all time. “I particularly like the part about no creature was stirring,” he explained. “That never happens when you spend Christmas with The Muppets.”

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have become infamous for renting out theaters for their own private movie screenings. However, the couple went old school when they saw Selena’s cameo in Disney’s The Muppets Nov. 25 in Dallas, Texas — and HollywoodLife.com has all the exclusive details.

Contrary to a previous report that they saw The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part One, our spy tells us Justin, 17, and Selena, 19, went to the 7:20 p.m. showing of The Muppets at the Landmark Magnolia Pictures Theater, after spending Thanksgiving with Selena’s family.

“It was just the two of them,” our source says. “They watched the movie with the general public. They were both incredibly polite and low profile.”

So how did the A-list couple dodge crowds and slip by almost unnoticed?

“Not too many people realized they were there because they came into the screening while the trailers were running,” the insider explains. “It was dark and people didn’t see them. When they came to the theater complex, they were both holding hands.”

Adds our eyewitness, “They looked really down to earth and very happy!”

As we told you, we thought The Muppets was one of the best movies of the year and we bet Justin and Selena felt the same! Selena’s cameo was super cute.

The Muppets will be one of the biggest movies of fall (that DOESN’T star Robert Pattinson), and we were so thrilled to see Selena Gomez show up on the big screen!

Selena, 19, shows up briefly alongside Whoopi Goldberg and Rico Rodriguez to help the gang out with their big telethon. Although Selena is happy to assist Kermit the Frog and his friends, she does note that, “My agent asked me to do this — I don’t even know who you are!”

She also participates in a super-cute group singalong of the classic “Mah Nà Mah Nà” — it’s too adorable!

It’s Twilight versus The Muppets! The classic puppets take on Breaking Dawn for the top November movie release! “We hear this vampire craze is really taking off, so naturally, we’re jumping on board,” the says on their Facebook page.

Both movies have generated major buzz, but these posters put points in The Muppets favor, for sure.

The Muppets becomes “The Muppet Saga” with Kermit starring as the Edward Cullen-esque Vamphibian, Miss Piggy as Bell Swine (of course) and a hairy, shirtless Rowlf as WereRowlf.
