The Mindy Project
Do they or don’t they? ‘The Mindy Project’ just said it’s final goodbye, but the one thing fans are wondering is if Mindy and Danny really were endgame. Spoilers ahead!
Mindy Kaling glowed as she hit the red carpet for the 1st time since news of her pregnancy broke. The star showed off her bump in a fitted dress as she dished on the last season of ‘The Mindy Project.’ See her bump pic here!
Uh oh! Adam Pally, best known for his role on ‘The Mindy Project,’ was arrested in NYC on Mar. 29 for allegedly smoking marijuana and carrying around a baggie of cocaine, according to a shocking new report. Read all about the actor’s unfortunate bust, here.
While Mindy struggles to take care of baby Leo because her mother-in-law is sick and Danny’s away, Peter shows up as an unexpected houseguest and adds more mayhem to the mix. Mindy almost misses an important presentation as a result!
While Danny Castellano (Chris Messina) is taking care of his dad in Los Angeles, Mindy Lahiri (Mindy Kaling) juggles work and watches Leo, and the stress is almost too much. Thanks to the help of a surprising individual, Mindy saves her financially-stressed fertility practice — but not before Peter Prentice (Adam Pally) appears on her doorstep for a surprise visit from Texas and almost ruins the whole thing.
Mindy’s mother-in-law, Annette, is more than happy to watch baby Leo for Mindy while she’s at work — but Mindy can’t take the infringement on her personal space, so she sets out to hire a nanny!
While Danny Castellano (Chris Messina) is off presumably visiting his dad, Mindy Lahiri (Mindy Kaling) struggles to accept Annette Castellano (Rhea Perlman) as one of Leo’s main caretakers. After her overbearing mother-in-law walks in on her in the shower, Mindy puts her foot down and sets out to hire an outsider to watch her kid. Shots fired!
‘The Mindy Project’ takes us on a crazy road trip this week — Danny and the self-invited Morgan drive cross-country to see Danny’s dad after his heart attack. The odd couple makes a detour along the way because Danny found out he had a teenaged son — or does he?
Last week, as part of some very emotional television, we saw Danny (Chris Messina) preparing to jet off to California to visit his dad after a heart attack. Since nothing ever goes as planned, in the Oct. 20 episode Danny ends up stuck in the car on a road trip with the extremely carsick nurse Morgan (Ike Barinholtz). Thelma and Louise-esque shenanigans ensue, including Danny dropping the bomb that he has a secret family!
Three cheers for the prospect of a ‘Cheers’ revival (sorry, it had to be said)! ‘The Mindy Project’ is blessed with an amazing supporting cast, including Rhea Perlman and Dan Hedaya from the sitcom ‘Cheers’. I caught up with TMP writer Tracey Wigfield to get the scoop on a possible reunion!
Cheers fans rejoiced when Rhea Perlman was cast on The Mindy Project last year as Danny (Chris Messina)’s mom. It was a genius move for so many reasons, one being that we’d already seen Dan Hedaya guest star as Danny’s dad. Though the characters are divorced on the show, if they were ever to meet, the internet would probably explode in a TMP/Cheers fandom frenzy. Emmy-winning TMP writer Tracey Wigfield spoke to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY at Paleyfest NYC on Oct. 17 and gave us the lowdown on what’s in store for the rest of the season!
‘The Mindy Project’ is tackling the theme of parenting in a hilarious way, as we saw in the Oct. 13 episode. Mindy and Danny are struggling to find a rhythm as new parents, and the big question still looms: When will Mindy tell Danny that she doesn’t want to be a stay-at-home mom?
Mindy (Mindy Kaling) and Danny (Chris Messina) are still trying to find their way as parents to their adorable new baby, Leo. For now, Mindy is staying at the apartment while Danny continues to work. In this episode, Mindy plays to the two extremes of “working from home”: 1) being a total slob in sweatpants and living on potato chips, and 2) being the perfect housewife who cooks and cleans in head-to-toe couture. The episode’s name, “Stay At Home MILF”, tells you all you need to know.
Hot mom alert! Mindy Lahiri has given birth to a beautiful baby boy, but that is not going to stop her from being a cool working mom…or is it? When she tries to bring Leo to work, not everyone’s reaction is a gasp of joy.
Mindy (Mindy Kaling) and Danny (Chris Messina) are proud new parents, but the road won’t be easy. In the Oct. 6 episode of The Mindy Project, Mindy attempts to fall back into her role as an OB/GYN, but it’s not that simple. During her maternity leave, a new doctor has been hired at her and Danny’s practice, and he doesn’t exactly burst with glee when Mindy returns to her kingdom. The queen expects to reign over her subjects like no time has passed, but it doesn’t go as planned!
‘The Mindy Project’ is as on point as ever. In the Sept. 21 episode, we saw Mindy finally have her baby — though not in the way she ‘expected’ she would!
In the latest episode of TMP, Mindy (Mindy Kaling) and Danny (Chris Messina) can’t agree on where, or how, Mindy should give birth. Mindy wants drugs and a c-section in a luxurious, celebrity-frequented “birthing suite”, while Danny wants her to do it the old-fashioned way. Of course, it didn’t turn out how either of them wanted!
Mindy/Danny shippers, rejoice — Danny Castellano has come around after three seasons of hemming and hawing. He returned after completely disappearing last year, and that’s not even the only surprise that came from the season 4 premiere of ‘The Mindy Project’. Spoilers ahead!
The Mindy Project has a new home on Hulu, and they kicked things off with an exciting and heart-wrenching first episode. I wasn’t disappointed with Danny’s decision to return and make a major grand gesture in the first episode of season four, though it did give me extreme amounts of anxiety (in a good way). The ep picks up right where we left off in the season three finale, and it was total fan service!
With the move to Hulu, the cast of ‘The Mindy Project’ are ready for a new kind of freedom — and a lot of A-list guest stars. But could the show change its tone? The cast spoke out this weekend and shared the season four scoop.
Mindy Kaling took the stage at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, alongside her Mindy Project co-stars, Chris Messina (Danny Castellano), Ike Barinholtz (Morgan Tookers), Ed Weeks (Jeremy Reed), Xosha Roquemore (Tamra), Beth Grant (Beverly) as well as EP, Matt Warbuton. So, what do we now know about the now-Hulu show, The Mindy Project?
Not only is ‘The Mindy Project’ back, but it looks like it will be better than ever! On July 17, the news broke that the show has cast Joseph Gordon-Levitt to guest star on the premiere on Hulu!
Joseph Gordon-Levitt‘s heading to Hulu — at least for one episode. The actor, 34, will take a guest-starring role on The Mindy Project‘s season four premiere, Hulu has confirmed. The show was dropped by Fox in May but later picked up by Hulu for a 26-episode fourth season.
There is a God! Streaming service Hulu has officially picked up ‘The Mindy Project’ for a new season!
Crying tears of joy! The Mindy Project, which was officially cancelled by Fox on May 6, will be rescued from the grave: The online streaming service, Hulu, announced on May 15 that it plans to resurrect the single camera comedy with 26 episodes. This will be the fourth season for the death defying show, which does not yet have a specified premiere date.
Say it isn’t so! After three seasons, FOX shockingly pulled the plug on one of our favorite shows, ‘The Mindy Project.’ The series garnered a cult following, and viewers made it very clear that they are NOT happy about the show being cancelled. See what they had to say!
After being plagued by low ratings for three seasons, FOX has decided to cancel Mindy Kaling‘s The Mindy Project. When the series wrapped it’s third (and now final) season in March, fans were left wondering if the the show would ever return. Sadly, the series won’t be returning to the small screen. And fans are not happy. Check out some of their craziest reactions!
