During an EXCLUSIVE interview with Martin Freeman, who plays the iconic Bilbo Baggins in ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,’ we finally learn what he is smoking in his pipe in the film! No need to inquire yourselves, as WEED found out the answer for ourselves!

If it were up to Martin Freeman, the classic tale of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey would have been better suited for J. R. R. TOKEn, instead of J. R. R. Tolkien! During the NYC premiere of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey on Dec. 6 at the Ziegfeld Theatre, Martin told us about his non-credited co-star, Mary Jane! We smoked out all the details, so check it out, below!

When HollywoodLife.com caught up with Martin and his longtime partner, Amanda Abbington, they both joked with us about what was actually in the pipe his character, Bilbo Baggins, uses throughout the film, saying, “Marijuana!” Amanda chimed in, “…and crack!” before Martin finished, “It depends on the day.” Then, they both laughed during the night’s festive red carpet.

Now, I guess we all know why it’s “An Unexpected Journey”!

Peter Jackson is helming the two-film ‘Lord Of The Rings’ prequel, and has released the first still from the movie!

Peter Jackson‘s epic Lord Of the Rings prequel The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is filming, and we finally have a look at the highly-anticipated film.

The shot — courtesy of Entertainment Weekly — shows star Martin Freeman as the titular hobbit Bilbo Baggins, looking deep in thought. We just can’t stop staring at his huge ears!
