Viola Davis isn’t letting it go to her head! HollywoodLife.com ran into Viola, 46, at the NYC premiere of her new movie Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close on Dec. 15 and she said although she’s appreciative of being nominated for the upcoming 69th Annual Golden Globes for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama, this isn’t her first time to the rodeo!

“I was asleep,” she laughs. “This is the second time around for me. So this time, I’m definitely taking it in stride I’m appreciative but know what’s at the end of it – I have to get back to work. It’s always a shock when you have to get back to work because I did it during Doubt [2008] you have to put it in perspective now I’m just saying ‘oh golden globes.’”

Viola says that while filming The Help, based on the best selling book written by Kathryn Stockett, she knew people would really connect to the film.

“I knew it was special,” she says. “I knew something was going on in Greenwood, Mississippi that people would pay attention to.”

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association also nominated Glenn Close [Albert Nobbs], Rooney Mara [Girl with the Dragon Tattoo], Meryl Streep [Iron Lady], and Tilda Swinton [We Need To Talk About Kevin].

Actress Emma Stone is usually on the money with her style choices at major events – but her black and white Luca Luca get-up at the UK premiere of The Help definitely wasn’t one of her best looks!

The actress opted for a floor length, polka dot, open sleeved gown featuring a belted waist and a thigh-high slit. Though her made-up face and fiery red lips look pretty, the dress does our favorite red head no justice.

Granted, the stunning star still looked gorgeous, but did you like the dress?

Emma Stone is one of the hottest celebrities in Hollywood right now.  The Golden Globe-nominated  actress has starred in two summer blockbuster films already — Crazy, Stupid, Love and Friends With Benefits — and plays the lead role in the film adaptation of The Help.  Though with all her recent success, the 22-year-old can’t seem to find the right man — or any man — for that matter!

Emma stopped by Live! With Regis And Kelly to talk about her role in The Help, but Regis had her distracted when he asked about the men in her life.  “Now that you’re a big major star, are you dating?”  Emma didn’t have to think twice about the question, and instead admitted — sarcastically — about her current dating situation.  “Oh man, just hundreds.  They’re coming out of the woodwork — it’s like The Bachelorette!”

Although she might not be able to find the right man just yet, she is definitely loved by all of Hollywood.  Selena Gomez recently listed Emma as a role model — and she could not be happier!  “That’s very sweet!”

Viola Davis, 45, who is best known for her amazing performance in the movie Doubt, was thrilled to announce that she and her husband of eight years, Julius Tennon, are adopting a baby domestically very, very soon!

“We don’t have any children [together], but we’re about to adopt a baby,” Julius, who has two children from previous relationships, told E! News at The Help premiere in Beverly Hills Tuesday (Aug. 9).

Viola agreed with her husband, adding, “Yes, we’re about to adopt a baby.” Aww, that’s amazing news!

Viola has wanted a baby and now her dreams are coming true. Congrats again to the happy couple!

Octavia Spencer says if you’ve ever felt like an outsider then go see The Help. The film stars Emma Stone [Skeeter], a young girl in Mississippi who decides to tell the real stories of black maids in her town. HollywoodLife.com spoke with Octavia, who plays Minny Jackson, one of the main maids in the film and she says The Help will make you want to “stand up for what you believe in.”

“I hope that people first see the civil rights aspect for what it is a back drop and appreciate it,” Octavia says. “Making a statement of how far we’ve come and still have more work to do. These three woman from culturally different backgrounds form these relationships that changed their lives and their community. It’s about finding your voice and standing up for what you believe in.”

The film is based on Kathryn Stockett‘s best-selling book, and it’s directed by Octavia’s long-time friend Tate Taylor.

“I met Tate in 1995 when we did ‘A Time To Kill’, and our friendship blossomed,” she says. “Tate always told us about Kathryn. I remember her saying she was writing a book and five years later she finished the book and called me and said that she loosely based one of the characters on me. So I read the book and realized that the short chubby woman was me!”

Amy Smart walked the red carpet on August 10th for the premiere of The Help and managed to look dressed for the day and dressed for the night in her ensemble.

Amy’s floor length, see-through floral dress was very light and airy, giving it a day look, especially when she added a brown leather belt. But Amy accessorized with a silver clutch and booties — two pieces that would never be worn on a sunny afternoon.

Emma Stone‘s career is really taking off — and while I’m thrilled the talented star is in so many movies, I’m way happier to constantly see her on the red carpet! On Aug. 9 in LA, Emma stepped out at the premiere of her highly-anticipated flick, The Help, where the star donned a gorgeous Spring 2011 Chanel Couture creation.

The grey strapless dress, complete with a skirt knotted at the waist and a hint of leg, thanks to a slit, was finished off with a sheer beaded shirt. Not only did she rock the look on the red carpet just like she did on the runway, but she once again proved that she’s a serious stylish contender!

Emma paired the get-up with Brian Atwood pumps, Chanel fine jewelry, and a pale pink Chanel bag.

While I loved the accessories and her sweeping ‘updo, I didn’t like the bag at all — I would’ve liked it better if she used a simple clutch.
