Shakira welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Milan Piqué Mebarak on Jan. 2, but it wasn’t the beautiful experience she was hoping for! The hilarious The Voice judged revealed to Ellen Degeneres on her talk show on May 10 that her little boy wasn’t exactly gorgeous when he came out.

Shakira Reveals Delivering Baby Milan Wasn’t Idyllic

When Ellen asked if there were any surprises during her delivery, Shakira opened up about the gory, honest details.

“Well, you know delivering a baby is not as idyllic as people make it seem. Don’t expect that he is going to be rosy cheeks, cherub when he is born. Actually when I saw mine, I was like, oh my god. He is purple and wrinkled. What is this? So at first it’s hard to deal with a lot of the things that you have to deal with,” she revealed.

Shakira Worried She Wouldn’t Be Sexy Again After Baby’s Delivery

The sexy Columbian singer was also candid about her insecurities after giving birth, and she worried she wouldn’t be sexy enough for her fiance Gerard Pique.

Looking at your new image in the mirror. I looked like a Shar-Pei when I first delivered. I was like, oh my god. Am I ever going to be sexy again? Is my man ever going to feel attracted to me again the way he used to be, you know.  All of these things that you deal with and the fears that come to you,” she added.

“He’s so good looking…He better be attracted to me because he is something .. He is such a good Daddy,” Shakira gushed about her fiance.

“I didn’t know you were Bipolar… so how often do you change you’re hair. What colors have you had?” Ellen asked her.

Demi told her: “I’ve had black, brunette, red, like orangey red, pink, and blue.”

Ellen tells Gwyneth that her outfit got a lot of attention…as if she didn’t know! Ellen starts to ask and then Gwyneth finished her thought: “Why is your ass hanging out?”

Ellen just stuttered and went to commercial!

“The Bindi on the forehead is an ancient tradition in Hinduism and has religious significance. It is also sometimes referred to as the third eye and the flame, and it is an auspicious religious and spiritual symbol… It is not meant to be thrown around loosely for seductive effects or as a fashion accessory aiming at mercantile greed. Ellen began by asking Selena, 20, about what it is like to be single after dating Justin.

“Because it’s got to be hard. Everybody knew you were a couple and now you’re not together anymore,” said Ellen, to which Selena replied “Yeah.”

Selena revealed that she is happy, because she met Brad Pitt!

Ellen asked Selena if she thought guys would be intimated by her, and she gave the most humble answer!

“Even though you’re single, you’re available and you’re beautiful and talented it would be scary for them, right?” said Ellen.

“Thank you, I don’t know. Hopefully that’s a lot nicer then to just say they’re not into me….” replied Selena.

“Someone that can make me laugh,” is what Selena is looking for in a new guy.

Selena also said her new guy must be “Great to my parents.”
