Plus, Jay sings about how he doesn’t want to hang with the “h**s” because all he wants to do is go home to his girl.

Kim gets talked into recording a song and Scott tries to set a surprising new fashion trend — and it is definitely really funny to watch!

There’s one thing that you can say for sure about the Kardashian’s, and that’s that they know how to keep you entertained! This weeks episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York was no exception, from watching Kim make her debut into singing to watching Scott’s ridiculous antics. After everything else that Kim Kardashian has done, it doesn’t seem very surprising that her next move would be to start singing. In this episode, we watched as Kim’s close friend Ciara talked her into recording a single — which wasn’t too hard to do! Once Kim heard that hit music producer The-Dream was interested in working with her, she was ready to go!

But once it came time to actually record the song in the studio, Kim got more than a little bit nervous. She was barely even singing and kept messing up her lines. It was obvious that everyone around her was getting frustrated, and at one point, Kim even tried to leave the studio. She said she was nervous about embarrassing herself — but Kourtney Kardashian, who was with her, convinced her to stay. In the end, she finally got it done, and completed the song, called ‘Jam (Turn It Up)’. But who knows if she’ll actually record an entire album? Kim said she just wanted to have fun, and it looks like she did, but let’s be honest — her first recording session wasn’t exactly amazing!

While Kim was busy at the studio, Scott Disick was busy creating new fashion trends. After jokingly calling himself a “fashion icon”, Scott decided he needed a signature accessory to stand out. After shopping, he found the perfect thing — a cane, obviously! It was hilarious to watch Scott strut around New York City with his ridiculous and over-priced cane (it cost $3,500!), especially because it made Kourtney so furious. But really, is there anything Scott does that doesn’t annoy Kourtney?

Kim Kardashian posted some pictures of her first day recording in the studio — and she certainly looks like she’s singing her heart out!

“It was so great to do something completely out of my comfort zone and I really recommend that you guys challenge yourselves to do the same this year,” Kim wrote.

The 30-year-old beauty took to her blog to give fans a behind-the-scenes peek of her big day in the studio collaborating with singer-songwriter The-Dream. She was even joined by her big sis Kourtney while she was belting out her tunes! The fun will be fully documented on an upcoming episode of Kourtney and Kim Take New York.

Her new single is slated to drop in the next few weeks and half of the proceeds will go to a cancer organization, as both Kim and The-Dream lost a parent to cancer. What a great cause for a sure-to-be-hot track!

The reality star says she only recorded her single because Kanye advised her to do it “for fun”!

Kim Kardashian‘s first ever song titled, “Turn It Up”, may also be her very last song, she confessed to MTV’s The Seven. “Basically, Ciara came to me and was like, ‘You’ve got to meet The-Dream,’” Kim gushed adding, “I was not into doing a song. I thought, ‘Everyone kind of tries that, and it doesn’t really work out so well.’ So I talked to friends like Kanye and a few of my other musical friends, like this is their life. They gave me good advice. They asked me what I do for fun, and I said, ‘I go shopping, I hang out with friends.’ And they said, ‘We go to the studio for fun. Come have fun with us. Don’t think too much about it.”

And even though she had fun, it looks like the only time Kim will be single is in her music career! The 30-year-old reality star kar-dashed any plans of continuing with an album saying, “There’s no album in the works or anything — just one song we did for the show, and a video Hype Williams directed,” Kim said. “Half of the proceeds we’re giving away to a cancer foundation, because The-Dream’s and one of my parents passed away from cancer. It’s just all having fun — with a good cause.”

Christina Milian has gone through a year of changes — good and bad — but has found joy in becoming a mom to her beautiful daughter, Violet, 11 months. “Being a new mother definitely makes me feel so much sexier than ever before,” the singer, 29, tells Latina magazine. “There’s a certain responsibility that I carry being a mom that makes me feel very confident and so blessed. Being a mom is the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”

Christina went through a surprising separation just three months after her September 2009 nuptials to Violet’s father, Terius “The-Dream” Nash. The-Dream was photographed being very affectionate with his assistant while he was technically still married to Christina. “I didn’t know anything,” she says of the cheating scandal. “But looking back, my gut was telling me something was off. But I thought I could fix it.” Now, she has come to terms with her pending divorce. “No matter what, you can’t change who you are. I know that now,” she explains. “I tried to be someone I wasn’t because I wanted my marriage to work. But ultimately, if it’s not working, it’s not working.”

Now that a new year has arrived, Christina is ready to move forward and find new happiness. “I learned a lot about myself this year,” Christina says. “I learned what I can handle. I learned how much I can take. I learned who I am and what I will accept for myself and my daughter… I feel brand new. I’ve been to hell and back, but I survived. I’m stronger for it and now I’m ready for the next phase of my life.”

The reality starlet finally gives an audience a preview of her new song the week after filming the video — what do you think?

At long, long last we are finally getting a preview of Kim Kardashian‘s first ever song and the result is a very, very produced pop song. After working with famed producer The-Dream on the track, Kim gave guests at Tao in Las Vegas, where she hosted New Year’s Eve, a preview of the inevitable hit. Though it is a little hard to hear it certainly isn’t the worst thing ever.

For a long time in 2010, things didn’t seem to be working out for Christina Milian. The singer and actress, 29, was served divorce papers by her husband The Dream just before she gave birth to their daughter Violet in February. Then, when she thought they were getting back together, her husband was caught canoodling with his assistant, Melissa Marle, in the Caribbean, and the two split up for good. But now, Christina’s got a new movie premiering next week on ABC Family and was out to celebrate that, as well as to show off her impressive post-baby figure. How cute is her little lady in that red frock and Santa hat?

“The first month, I lost weight drastically,” the singer said of how she dropped the 45 pounds she put on while pregnant with Violet. “On top of that, [my mom] cooked me a lot of raw vegetables and raw salads and proteins — and it worked! I also drank a lot of water.” Besides dieting, the singer says that breastfeeding and exercise also helped. She looks amazing!

Christmas Cupid, which will debut Sunday night at 8 pm on ABC Family, also stars Chad Michael Murray and Ashley Benson and follows a high-powered publicist (Christina) who is visited with the ghosts of boyfriends past in a hunt for true love, in a modern re-telling of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.

Christina Milian admits that her 8-month-old daughter, Violet, is a pint-sized fashionista — she owns 60 pairs of shoes! But at a recent event in LA, the cutie caught every eye in the room in her red tartan plaid dress with matching Mary Janes, tights, and baby hair bows. Cute overload!

Christina recently told US magazine that little Violet has already uttered her first words! “She said, ‘Mama.’” Christina smiled. “It was a joy.  I was so excited because I wasn’t expecting her to do it. We said, ‘Say mama,’ and she said it!”
