The episode began with Melissa and Joe Gorga preparing for Antonia’s sixth birthday bash. The New Jersey casa was decorated with balloons, confetti and — a GIANT blow-up caterpillar.

“I only have one little girl and she only turns six once,” Melissa tells the cameras.

Frenemister-in-law Teresa Giudice and her clan plan on attending the party since their relationship is on the road to recovery. However, Joe Giudice isn’t having it. Are you surprised? Thank goodness we have little Milania to call him out on it.

“You never want to see your kids!” Milania screams. Scary!

And even brother Joe is happy that Teresa and the girls are attending Antonia’s party. Even though he claims therapy didn’t work last episode and that he’ll “never go again,” he feels like they can figure things out – and not on Dr. Sweeney’s couch. And (bonus) there is one idea almost everybody can agree on: Sunday dinners. Hooray!

Everyone is sugar and rainbows at the party until Jacqueline arrives. It’s obviously super awkward between J and Teresa, but J wants to make amends.

“I want to have the relationship I used to have with her,” Jacqueline says.

I think she’s going to have to find closure within herself to make that happen because Teresa clearly doesn’t think she did anything wrong. Thankfully, they didn’t spend that much time running in circles — I have a feeling that will happen next week in California though.

Back in Hoboken the Manzo brothers are waking up from a wild night and Albie plants the seed that his new girlfriend, Lindsey, is going to meet Mom soon!

But Albie’s girlfriend wasn’t the only one to meet the family this episode. Rosie also brought home her new girlfriend, Brianne, which was brief, but went well!

In New York City, Gia prepares for a dance audition while her Aunt Melissa is training with famous dance choreographer, Chris Judd. I’d really like to see a dance-off between Melissa and Gia, and I hate to say it, but I think Gia would win. Gia should have been working with Chris! Don’t you agree?

Outside of the dance studio, Albie prepares to introduce Lindsey to his mom, Caroline, at a gay bar, but she’s already on edge about the new girl.

“I worry because at this point in Albie’s life he’s not ready to have that kind of relationship. He should be focusing on his career,” Caroline says.

Melissa feels differently because she gets on stage and drags Albie’s girlfriend with her. But not too long after she questions her own husband’s sexuality after he dances on a table – TOPLESS — grinding with other men.

“Joe’s not gay. Is he?” Melissa asks.

No, I think he just likes to show off his abs!

Overall, there was pretty little drama compared to the usual craziness! I think it’s probably because we needed a break before their trip to California next week.

The moment we’ve all been waiting for finally arrived on the April 1 episode of The Celebrity Apprentice when Teresa Guidice‘s Jersey-girl spirit finally made an appearance! And while the boardroom table remained in its proper upright position, everything else on this week’s episode was totally flipped around.

Donald Trump‘s first task: The celebs had to create and sell a New York City guidebook; Regis Philbin even showed up to judge!

Once again, the ladies on Team Forte came in last place, despite Regis liking their book best and giving them a $35,000 head start. Team Unanimous (the guys) and project manager Dee Snider earned $14 more than they did selling their book, winning the task. $14! The slight difference was a first for the show.

Aubrey O’Day managed to slip past elimination, yet again, even though she raised the least amount of money, essentially losing the task for the girls. The Donald basically said that if project manager Teresa had been smart and called Aubrey back, he would have fired her. (We were this close!) Instead, Debbie Gibson got cut, but not before an all-out cat fight with Teresa who called her “maybe” talented at singing. Needless to say, Teresa did not get a hug goodbye from Ms. Gibson.

Before the night was over, the men all commented how happy they were not to be on a team with Aubrey. Dee said, “I see her tail and horns. Bring it, kid.” Little did the boys know, the Donald had a trick up his sleeve.

The teams were assembled by Mr. Trump for the second task, and in a shocking twist, he switched them up! Since the ladies lost five out of seven tasks, he played Aubrey and Teresa with Clay Aiken, Arsenio Hall, and Paul Teutul Sr. — much to the men’s intense disappointment. Meanwhile, Lisa Lampanelli was stuck with Dayana Mendoza, along with Penn Gillette, Lou Ferrigno and Dee.

Now for the task: Design new branding for Walgreen’s Walk With Walgreens membership kit and produce a health segment for the program.

Lou stepped up as project manager for his team, while Arsenio volunteered for his new team. Aubrey went on creative overdrive, and Penn really stepped up for his team, while Lou and Arsenio tried desperately to hold onto their power. Arsenio’s new team decided to do a game show for the health segment, and Lou’s team focused on all the great things you can get done while walking. Dee handled the branding for his team, placing the Walgreens logo all over it, while Aubrey wanted to put the faces of everyone on their team onto the membership kit.

The two unofficial project managers, Aubrey and Penn, caused a few bumps in the road. Aubrey and Arsenio butted heads, especially when she referenced Arsenio “walking away” from his career. Ouch! “I’m sick of her,” Arsenio blurted out.

Penn, meanwhile, had to abandon his team temporarily for a show, which made Lisa nervous since she seemed to think he was the only other competent person on her team.

At their event, even Lisa gave Lou props on how well he pulled everything off. Penn, however, misnamed the event! It was not good, and the execs definitely noticed that. The other team presented their game show with Arsenio as the host and the other teammates as contestants. Despite his frustrations with Aubrey, Arsenio was proud of what his team brought to the table. Now off to another table — the one in the boardroom.

Even before the winning team was announced, Arsenio made it pretty clear how he felt about Aubrey. And then came the tears… again! (Surprise, surprise.) But surprisingly, their team won! Curiously, Aubrey left without going into the boardroom.

Back in the boardroom, Lou, Dee, and Dayana were all up for elimination. Donald proclaimed how much he hates firing people, and this group seemed to be a particularly tough one for him. But Dee was in charge of the branding, and the box’s design just wasn’t good enough. Dee Snider, you’re fired!

The only question left is: Where, oh where, was Aubrey O’Day?

The October 2nd episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey continues with the fight that brewed between Teresa Guidice and Kathy Wakile during their vacation in Punta Cana.  Both housewives are equally angry with each other, but Teresa chooses to let the argument go by ignoring the situation. Kathy is annoyed Teresa chose to do this and says Teresa does not want to “grasp reality.” Meanwhile, everyone celebrates the recent strengthening of Teresa and Joe Gorga‘s relationship.

After the guys choose to spend the day golfing, the housewives go to the local market so Teresa could do research for a new “Italian/Latin” cookbook. The housewives are immediately disgusted by the bloody marketplace, but Teresa fools around with a dead chicken just to annoy the girls.

At dinner that night, the Manzo brothers announce to the group they are planning to name a “Punta Princess” that would test a woman in style, intellect and creativity.  Teresa is awarded the style portion of Punta Princess while Kathy wins the creativity award.  For the intellect award, the housewives are asked if they could name the current vice president of the United States. Teresa answers “Hillary Clinton” and Melissa Gorga answers “Dick Cheney”- although Melissa eventually comes up with the correct answer in the end.

The group returns from their vacation to watch Melissa in her first performance ever at an event hosted by the Manzo brothers. Everyone applauds Melissa’s performance of On Display, although Teresa thinks “the only thing that was on display was Melissa’s cleavage.”

At the end of the show, Teresa and Kathy step outside to discuss their feud. Teresa apologizes for her comments and Kathy agrees that she wants to reconnect with Teresa.

On the September 11th episode of RHONJ we learn Gia Guidice, 10, is an up-and-coming superstar! Teresa’s daughter writes and sings her own songs. First, as a birthday present to her 5-year-old sister Malania, she sang a tribute to her dear sister about how she remembers when she was born. How cute!

But her second song shocked everybody in the room. The little star sang tearfully a song about her parents battle with bankruptcy.

As for the other housewives — Melissa Gorga also debuted her single On Display to Caroline’s sons, Chris and Albie.

Last week on the August 14th episode of RHONJ Ashley Holmes faced an intervention. It was so serious that her father, Matt Holmes, flew in from Texas to take part in it! But clearly the intervention didn’t knock any sense into Ashley’s head.

The end of the intervention did not go as planned. Jacqueline Laurita ended up crying in a corner as Ashley called her “immature” and said she acts like an “eighth grader.” But the real drama occurred at the end of the episode when Ashley called her mom a “b***h.”

And Jaqueline responded, crying, saying, “All the love I have in the world I give to her.” And Ashley proceeded to say, “I’m over it and done, she’s immature.”

Ashley definitely needs more than an intervention to get whipped back into shape!

Meanwhile, Kathy Wakile  hosted a goddess themed party for all of the housewives — drawing Teresa Guidice, Melissa Gorga AND Kathy Wakile into the same room. In between little bickering, there surprisingly wasn’t a full blowout fight as expected. Appears as if these housewives are growing to like each other a little bit more each episode. Carolina Manzo even admitted to growing fond of Kathy!

And the troubled 20-year-old Ashley Holmes faces an intervention that leads her to being kicked out of her own home.

Jaqueline Laurita’s daughter’s father, Matt, flies in from Texas to participate in the intervention. Everyone is incredibly fed up with her late night partying and are concerned she is not headed in the right direction. But Ashley is clueless that the invention is even in the works until later in the episode when they all meet at a restaurant.

Of course, the intervention does go as planned.

Ashley ends up insulting her mom saying “sorry I don’t have a baby,” after Jaqueline comments how Ashley has little to no responsibility.

“She throws in my face all the sacrifices she’s made for me,” Ashley says about her mom. “I don’t think I should pay for them.” Ashley proceeds to admit that she feels like her mom is mean to her because she is resentful that she had her when she was 20.

Jaqueline storms out crying after telling Jaqueline she should leave the house. The angry mother says she has had enough — and her husband agrees!

Meanwhile, Kathy Wakile is dealing with having “the talk” with her 16-year-old daughter, Victoria, as she gets ready to go to her first high school dance. Kathy tells Victoria how boys these days have ulterior motives and that she needs to watch out. Victoria says she knows and good thing she’s a black belt — plus I don’t think any boys wil be messing with her knowing what a crazy dad she has!

Caroline Manzo also deal with issue mother/daughter issues this episode. Her daughter, Lauren, confides in Caroline saying she is unhappy with her weight and that she feels unattractive. A supportive Caroline tells her beauty comes from within, and that she’ll help her with whatever she needs to make her feel better. Caroline really is such a great mom!

With all of the crazy Jaqueline/Ashley drama, it was refreshing to see Caroline and Kathy’s positive relationships with their own daughters.
