Experts say that watching more than two hours of television is actually a risk to your kids’ mental health!
Recent studies reveal that television, the beloved babysitter of many busy parents, can cause psychological and physical damage to children. New research from the University of Bristol in the UK explains that watching more than two hours of TV is a risk to the mental and physical health of kids. “Watching TV or playing computer games for more than two hours a day is related to greater psychological difficulties irrespective of how active children are,” Dr. Angie Page from the University of Bristol says.
The actress looks better and better. Is looking good the best revenge?
So, we were just watching Denise Richards on LX-TV and I have to say, the actress just looks prettier and prettier. Rich brown hair color, perfect skin, glamorous makeup. Kind of lovely considering her husband doesn’t exactly look so good right now. Kind of makes you wonder…was Denise preparing for her close-up?

Did you think the AI judges sent some of the wrong people packing? Simon admits that he may have been a little hasty with his snap decisions!
The last thing we’d ever expect from the uber-cocky (and nearly always correct) Simon Cowell is that he – well – sometimes may get it wrong. But a miracle has occurred, and the over-confident American Idol judge has finally admitted that he doesn’t always make the right decision when choosing American Idol’s top 24 contestants. Gasp!
“You watch it back and you think, ‘You know what? I could have made different decisions here,” Simon, 50, told reporters Feb. 18. “This happens on the shows I do in other countries [too].”
Can you imagine having your baby three months early and not being able to hold her in your arms?
On the Feb. 16 episode of TLC’s hit reality show 19 and Counting, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar move their family to Little Rock, Ark. to be closer to their baby, Josie, who was born Dec. 10 three months prematurely and is still in the hospital.
“It’s very difficult to see her struggling for life like she is,” Michelle, 43, says. “I look forward to the day when I get to hold her.”
Do you agree with the latest Loser to leave the ranch? He adamantly maintains that weight loss will come from a lifestyle change, not a crash diet.
Biggest Loser contestant John Crutchfield has some pretty controversial words for someone who’s appearing on a weight loss reality show. Says the Biggest Loser: Couples castoff: “Anything with the word diet in it doesn’t work.” Come again, sir? Presumably dieting is a required part of the whole weight-loss journey thing.
I’m shocked, appalled, and … sad! The Lost star is moving on to greener pastures when he finally gets off that island.
What does Matthew Fox have planned after the series finale of his hit show Lost this May? To get lost, for real. “I won’t be doing any more television,” Matthew, 43, told UsMagazine.com at the show’s season premiere event in Hawaii Jan. 31.
Considering we’ve had the pleasure of his handsomeness since his turn as the eldest brother on the 90’s drama Party Of Five, we are sure sad to see you go, Matthew! So does that mean he’s giving up Hollywood completely? Well, sort of. When he leaves the show’s Hawaii set, the father of two, — daughter, Kyle Allison, 11, and son Byron, 8, with wife Margherita — is bypassing LA for a cooler climate, “My family will move to Oregon, back to the country I love.” Read more
Betty Suarez! We will miss you terribly!
We can’t say we didn’t see this coming. With consistently declining ratings over the past few seasons, ABC announced Jan. 27 that it will not be renewing its award-winning dram-edy, Ugly Betty, for a fifth season. “We’ve mutually come to the difficult decision to make this Ugly Betty‘s final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion,” ABC chief Steve McPherson said in a statement. “We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell.”
New faces, new body parts, same compromising positions … How excited are you for the return of Melrose 2.0?
It’s out with the old, in with the new for the characters on Melrose Place, when the hit CW show returns on March 9. Stars Ashlee Simpson and Colin Egglesfield have officially left the building and former Cougar Town bait Nick Zano is moving in. Although we only know Nick will be playing a sexy doctor stud (what a stretch) named Drew Pagin, we’re pretty sure Katie Cassidy’s Ella Sims is going to be on him like white on rice.
Can you imagine being a writer by day and a high-end prostitute by night? Hannah Baxter can.
By day, Hannah Baxter (Billie Piper)—the main character on Showtime’s highest rated show Secret Diary of a Call Girl—is a published, scatter-brained author, but by night, she’s “Belle de Jour,” one of the most sought after call girls in London. She’s been laying low for awhile, but now it’s time for Hannah to collect ‘material’ for her second book.
After shedding more than 40 pounds, this Biggest Loser can finally shake her money-maker.
Don’t feel sorry for Patti Anderson, the second contestant to be eliminated in from the ninth season of NBC’s weight-loss reality show, The Biggest Loser (aka The Most Inspirational Show On TV). Since leaving the Loser ranch, she’s lost so much weight at home she’s even been able to break out her dancing shoes. 55-year-old Patti—a business owner from Lafayette, California—has dropped more than 40 pounds since starting her weight-loss journey last summer, and now, at 200 pounds, she’s able to get her boogie on for the first time in years.
