His seventh medal also earned him a place in Olympics history, as he has now earned more medals at the winter games than any other US athlete! “It means a lot to me,” Apolo tells USA Today. “Especially in a sport like this, there’s not many athletes that come to back-to-back Olympic games and medal — very, very few.
