Science really can do some amazing things these days. Not only did Jenna (Tammin Sursok) regain her sight, but as we saw on the July 10 episode of Pretty Little Liars, she also gained the ability to throw a bitchin’ party! Of course, like all big events in Rosewood, her birthday celebration quickly took “A” tragic turn.

M.I.A. from the party was Hanna (Ashley Benson), who was forced to volunteer at a church clothing drive with her mom. And while Ashley (Laura Leighton) shared her cookies with a handsome stranger — I always figured she’d be loose with her baked goods — her daughter stumbled on one of “A”‘s little surprises: a jacket Emily (Shay Mitchell) wore the night Alison’s body went missing! But how did it get there? When did Emily take it off? And who else did Emily run into that night?

Unfortunately Emily doesn’t have any of those answers, because it turns out she was drugged that night! The drug resurfaced at Jenna’s party, this time in Paige’s (Lindsey Shaw) drink, and it wasn’t long before homegirl was bleeding out on the dance floor. While waiting in the emergency room, Nate grilled Emily about the nature of her relationship with Paige — and I couldn’t help but feel like his questions were all suspiciously pointed. Could he have some feelings for his dead cousin’s ex? (Wow, that was a complicated sentence.)

After an uncomfortably tense run-in with Lucas (Brendan Robinson), Aria (Lucy Hale) emptied out his camera bag and found — dun, dun, dun — the same pills that had been slipped in Emily and Paige’s respective drinks! I hope she discusses her discovery with Ezra (Ian Harding) as soon as he’s out of the shower. … Great, now I’m thinking about Ezra in the shower. As are you.

Meanwhile, Queen Spencer (Troian Bellisario) also did a little detective work at the hospital — and she wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. She paid a visit to Garrett’s (Yani Gellman) comatose mother and discovered a note that read “April Rose has the proof.” If you’re wondering who April Rose is, don’t worry, you’re not alone.

Looks like we’ve got some new mysteries to solve: Who is ‘April Rose’? Was she the ‘other’ person with Emily the night Alison’s body went missing? And why aren’t people making a bigger deal about Jenna suddenly being able to see? (Oh, people of Rosewood. Nothing surprises you anymore.) Drop me a comment with your theories!

Jenna (Tammin Sursok) is making her long-awaited return to Rosewood on the March 5 episode of Pretty Little Liars – and, boy, is she a sight for sore eyes! In this preview clip from the episode, titled “Eye of the Beholder,” we learn that everyone’s favorite cane-wielding psycho has successfully undergone surgery on one of her eyes. So, basically, she’s now a cyclops — which makes her ten times more terrifying.

Unsurprisingly, Jenna’s return also stirs up tension between Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Toby (Keegan Allen), who appears to have slipped back into the role of Jenna’s glorified seeing-eye dog — but with better hair. “Spoby” fans will want to watch this clip at their own risk:

We’re just seven days away from the premiere of the Pretty Little Liars Halloween special, and as someone fortunate enough to have seen it (three times), I promise you it has everything a PLL fan could possibly want:

Hefty Hanna returns: The episode takes place a full year before the events of season one, so Hanna (Ashley Benson) is fully stuffed and ready to strut her plus-sized stuff through the streets of Rosewood. God, I missed that waddle.

Jenna isn’t just crazy — she’s also crazy-hot: Yes, it appears that before her sight was taken from her in that tragic fire, Rosewood’s creepiest floutist had a bit of a slutty streak. This episode really makes me hope Jenna (Tammin Sursok) gets her sight back. Her death-stares would bring the ladies of Revenge to their knees — and that’s really saying something.

New ‘A’ suspects: I promise that once this special is over, you’re going to think everyone in Rosewood is “A.” The characters in this episode caused me to raise my eyebrows so high, they’re not even on my face anymore. I look like Voldemort now. (Thanks, ABC Family.)

So many tears: Halloween may be a time for tricks, but in Rosewood, it’s also a time for drama. From Spencer (Troian Bellisario) to Aria (Lucy Hale) to Mr. Montgomery (Chad Lowe), nearly everyone sheds a tear or two at some point during the episode. Who knows, YOU might even need to keep a box of tissues handy, yourself!

Dramatic foreshadowing: If only the good people of Rosewood knew then what they know now. With lines like “Someday she’ll get what’s coming for her” and “If I told you that, I’d have to kill you” longtime fans will be rewarded for their faithful viewing all night.

This week’s Liars left us with the best cliffhanger yet, and the mysterious “A” stepped up his/her deadly game of cat-and-mouse with radio shout-outs and personal letters.

When we last left Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Spencer (Troian Avery Bellisino) and Aria (Lucy Hale), they were shell-shocked after reading a cryptic message left on Spencer’s bedroom mirror. This meant that “A” had actually been IN Spencer’s house! Scary, right?

Aside from dealing with all the “A” drama, the girls had to cope with their own personal issues at home. Since the reveal of her father’s past affair, Aria finally got the chance to talk with her mom, Ella (Holly Marie Combs.) But her attempt to clear her conscious did more harm than good, as her dad (Chad Lowe) didn’t exactly divulge ALL the details about his secret tryst with then-student Meredith (Amber Borycki). As Aria’s home life continues its downward spiral, she thinks having Mr. Fitz (Ian Harding) to lean on will make everything better, but “A” even finds a way to meddle in that relationship, too!

Unlike Aria, Spencer seems to be getting along better with her demanding dad. After hearing the news about “her” award-winning essay, he’s totally proud — unaware of the fact that it was actually written by his other daughter, Melissa (Torrey DeVitto), in 2004! Pushed to the brink to by her father, Spencer finally snaps and comes clean about stealing the essay, leaving him speechless.

While Spencer and Aria’s problems continue to escalate at home, Hanna’s life gets a drastic makeover! To pay for the repairs on her boyfriend Shawn’s car, Hanna stars working for his mom at a dentist’s office. Already anxious about her first day at a new job, her nerves are thrown into overdrive when Jenna (Tammin Sursok) enters the SAME elevator and sports the SAME shade of lip stick that “A” used to write the message! Are Jenna and her brother Toby (Keegan Allen) working together against the girls?

Let’s hope not, because Emily continues to grow closer to Toby, bonding over their similar taste in music. After admiring his drawings and dishing on their favorite bands in chemistry class, Toby decides to take their “friendship” one step further by burning a personalized mix CD for her, even sketching her on the front cover. Emily returns the favor later on with a tape of her favorite songs, hoping he’ll like them too! As Emily and Toby’s friendship steadily turns into something more, is she totally forgetting the feelings she has for her next-door neighbor Maya (Bianca Lawson)?
