From ‘Real Housewives’ to ‘Bethenny Ever After’ to her own talk show?! Seriously, this SkinnyGirl’s got it made!
Bethenny Frankel has reportedly begun shooting a pilot for her soon-to-be advice-style talk show series, that she’s producing with the famed daytime host herself, Ellen DeGeneres. OMG, will you watch?
Warning: If you run into mom-to-be Christina Applegate, don’t touch her belly. “It’s a little strange. None of us go up to non-pregnant people [and touch them] and ask how they’re feeling,” she says.
Christina Applegate had that gorgeous glow that only impending motherhood can bring when she stopped by Conan last night. The 38-year-old, who is expecting her first child with fiance Martyn LeNoble, 41, early next year, joked that she could give birth at any second. And she admitted that she’s not a fan of people touching her pregnant belly. “People think they can just do that to pregnant women. It’s still our stomach — it’s kind of weird,” she informed host Conan O’Brien. Can you relate, HollyMoms?
The singer’s life is full of changes since filing for divorce from her husband, Jordan Bratman, but the one constant is spending quality time with her son, Max. She treats the 2-year-old to a private concert every night. Lucky guy!
Christina Aguilera shared some sweet stories when she stopped by Conan yesterday (Nov. 22). The soon-to-be 30-year-old (her birthday is December 18) revealed that she’s been singing since she was wearing diapers. And, she’s been serenading her son Max, 2, since the day he was born. “Sometimes he’s my worst critic,” she told host Conan O’Brien. “He’ll be like, ‘Oh, no, Mommy — not ‘Twinkle, Twinkle,'” she laughed.
The 10-year-old singer, whose first single “Whip My Hair” is the catchiest song we’ve heard in ages, got a great gag gift when she stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show today!
If you’ve seen Willow Smith‘s “Whip My Hair” video, you’ll agree that the energetic and talented 10-year-old really knows how to bust a move. But her head-thrashing dance routine apparently worries talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. When Willow stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show today (Nov. 2) to perform her hit song, Ellen gave her a funny and practical gift — a bedazzled blue neck brace with Ellen’s face all over it! “Because you have such great style, I want to make sure if you do ever hurt your head, you will be in style,” Ellen told the smiling tween.
The Talk made its premiere on CBS this afternoon. We settled in to watch the ladies dish the dirt on motherhood and parenting, but were left disappointed.
CBS’ new hour-long chat show The Talk (which premiered today) is certainly not The View 2.0. Sure, the show starts with a lot of famous faces as hosts — Julie Chen, Leah Remini, Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete and Sara Gilbert — sitting around a table (which is actually distracting because the table is a tad too high so it cuts their bodies off at an unflattering angle and seeing their legs below the table is equally distracting) but that’s where the similarities with Barbara Walters’ show end.
Do you think anyone can ever replace Queen O when she wraps her talk show in 2011?
Wanda Sykes is positive that Oprah Winfrey has a clone. Not only does the talk show hostess with the mostess do duty on her ABC daytime show, but she runs the woman’s magazine O, is an active philanthropist and political advocate. However does she do it?
Fellow talk show host Wanda Sykes thinks she knows. “I think you would need another clone,” Wanda told reporters Feb. 23 while promoting her Saturday night talk show. She added, “I think the clone has been doing the last three season to be honest, and don’t think she doesn’t have one.”
Would YOU ever decorate your lady parts with crystals? Jennifer Love thinks you should!
There’s nothing like going to sleep thinking ‘WTF? Did that really just happen?’ During an interview with George Lopez Jan. 12, actress Jennifer Love Hewitt explained that she devotes an entire chapter in her new dating self-help book, The Day I Shot Cupid, to how she bedazzles her “precious lady” with Swarovski crystals. Will you be a Senator? Will you be a Gov? Will you get married, at long last?
“I love this show. This show has been my life,” she told viewers on Friday. “This show has been my life. And I love it enough to know when it’s time to say goodbye.”
Oprah shocked the world Thursday with news that she’d be ending her huge talk show in 2011 to focus on her cable network, OWN. And while the Queen of All Media may be launching more TV business ventures, we still think she’d kick butt as a political figure — or any number of other things!
