Switched at Birth ended its first season with a huge baby bombshell — Angelo (Gilles Marini) may have fathered another child — and now it’s time to get some answers. The second season kicks off at 8 p.m. tonight on ABC Family, and the stars tells HollywoodLife.com to expect fireworks, especially when it comes to Angelo’s little surprise.

“I don’t see that being an important storyline in the near future,” Vanessa Marano jokes. ”I don’t see [the baby mama] being in four episodes already. No, I don’t see that happening.”

“Angelo is a shifty kinda guy,” Katie Leclerc adds. ”You’ve got to keep your eyes on him.”

A New Boyfriend For Daphne

Daphne’s relationship with Chef Jeff may have been a recipe for disaster — see what I did there? — but it doesn’t sound like it’ll take too long to get over him in season two.

“Daphne kind of lost herself in Chef Jeff,” Katie admits. “She really enjoyed the time they had together, but I think she needs to find her footing again, find her independence. … She has a new love interest [this season], which is fun.”

Another new love interest? Get it, girl.

Will Bay Forgive Emmett For Cheating?

“This season, it’s like a new Bay!” Vanessa revealed. “She did the rebellious thing, and she’s over it now. She’s a good kid right now, I’m a little shocked. I don’t know how long that’s going to last because she has a little bit of a taste for being difficult.”

Much of Bay’s drama at the end of season one came from Emmett’s (Sean Berdy) shocking infidelity — and don’t expect that issue to go away anytime soon.

“She fell apart, man,” Vanessa says. “Girlfriend fell apart! … Of course, she finally forgave Emmett. I’m of the philosophy that if you cheat [you're done], but I’m not writing this show.”

The seemingly never-ending first season of ABC Family’s Switched At Birth — seriously, 40 episodes! — comes to a close Oct. 22, and the only thing more intense than the characters’ on-screen meltdowns will be the viewers’ meltdowns watching from home. The season finale is that crazy.

Here are five mini spoilers from tonight’s main event to help tide you over until the episode airs at 8 p.m.:

1. Daphne & Jeff: Daphne (Katie Leclerc) cooks up a plan to keep her man against all odds, but it turns out to be only half-baked. Let’s just say other people get involved, and the drama goes from zero to insane in no time.

2. Bay & Emmett: I won’t give away too much, because it’s so good, but there’s a moment between Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Emmett (Sean Berdy) that will probably put a smile on your face — unless you’re a heartless monster.

3. Katherine’s regret: Katherine (Lea Thompson) is asked what she would do if given the opportunity to go back in time and undo the switch — and her answer has a major impact on the trial.

4. Regina’s big mouth: She has a history of putting her foot in her mouth, but Regina (Constance Marie) really goes overboard on the finale. She has several outbursts that set serious drama into motion.

5. Epic twist ending: It’s a good thing we only have to wait until Jan. 7 for new episodes of Switched At Birth, because that’s how long it’ll take you to pick your jaw up off the floor after the finale’s last twist.

ABC Family junkies, prepare yourselves for sensory overload: The second season of Switched At Birth premieres Jan. 7 at 8 p.m., before  the return of new Bunheads episodes at 9 p.m. The following night, Jan. 8, will bring the return of Pretty Little Liars at 8 p.m., followed by the second season premiere of The Lying Game at 9 p.m.!

Of course, there’s still plenty of drama left in 2012. Pretty Little Liars‘ Halloween special airs Oct. 23 at 8 p.m., and the season finale of Switched At Birth airs TONIGHT at 8 p.m.!

Now that the fall TV season is officially in full swing, I’m bringing back my weekly Spoiler Party, a collection of mini-scoops from some of my favorite shows. This week, I’ve got exclusive details on Melissa’s return to Pretty Little Liars, Henry’s new dilemma on 666 Park Avenue, a potential Suburgatory exit, and more!

Pretty Little Liars

Torrey DeVitto may be living large in Mystic Falls at the moment, but fear not, she’ll be back in Rosewood very soon! ”Melissa does come back,” Torrey tells me of her Pretty Little Liars persona, Melissa. “You’ll see a lot more of her in January.” (Let’s hope she’s not pregnant this time. That never ends well.)

666 Park Avenue

There’s always a lot to keep track of on 666 Park Avenue, but for the Oct. 21 episode, Rachael Taylor tells me that viewers should pay particular attention to Henry’s (Dave Annable) political subplot. “Henry is put between a rock and a hard place,” she explains. “At first, it doesn’t seem like it has anything to do with the Drake, but we realize a few episodes down the track that it absolutely does.” (Make a note, kids!)

Switched At Birth

It’s only fitting that the Oct. 22 season finale of Switched At Birth is Halloween-themed, because Daphne’s (Katie Leclerc) relationship with Jeff (Justin Bruening) is about to take a scary turn. Let’s just say her sudden promotion at Maize has raised a few eyebrows among the higher-ups — and they’re not ignoring their suspicions. (I’ll have more finale scoop later this week, so keep checking back!)

Suburgatory

Tessa (Jane Levy) returns from her summer in the city on tonight’s Suburgatory season premiere, but just as quickly as she arrives, someone else threatens to leave the ‘burbs forever! Who is it, and why does her desire to escape have Dallas (Cheryl Hines) willing to do anything to keep her in town? You’ll just have to watch and find out! (Oops.. did I say “she”?)

Bunheads

ABC Family’s Bunheads goes back into production on the second half of its first season next week — and straight into damage control. “Because of everything that happened with Michelle — her macing us, and our parents hating her — it could go so many different ways,” star Bailey Buntain admits to me. “I really hope the four girls’ relationship with Michelle gets better. … And I’m looking forward to exploring more with Ginny and her mom, because I think their relationship is so fascinating.”

The first season of ABC Family’s Switched at Birth may be nearing its end, but there are still plenty of surprises in store for the Kennish and Vasquez families. HollywoodLife.com caught up with the show’s stars Sept. 13 at the launch of Switched at Birth: The True Story of a Mother’s Journey, and they dropped major spoilers from upcoming episodes — including whether or not Bay (Vanessa Marano) will give Emmett (Sean Berdy) a second chance!

OK, here’s what we found out:

There’s still hope for Bay & Emmett: “I don’t want my character to get back together with [Emmett], who cheated on her, but I think that’s going to happen,” Vanessa told us. ”They have a relationship that’s kind of the great love of the show, and it’s a relationship that really resonated with fans. But, still, he cheated on her!”

Prepare for major courtroom drama: “When the lawsuit starts, it’s a whole new thing,” Lea Thompson teases. ”When [the families] finally go to court, a lot of stuff comes out; and it’s going to propel us into season two.”

Sexy times for Daphne & Jeff: “Daphne is really excited about [Chef Jeff],” Katie Leclerc confessed. “With all the drama going on at home with Angelo, Daphne wants to spend as much time out of the house as possible — and she ends up spending it with Jeff! It’s a good escape.”

Expect to see some good in Angelo: “I firmly believe that, when I play my character, I’m not actually wrong at all,” Gilles Marini said. “It’s tough to play someone who’s a [jerk], but let me tell you, things will change at the end of the season. There’s a huge bang at the end. It’s massive.”

But don’t expect any changes from John: “Our showrunner recognizes that, as an ex-professional athlete, [John is] a little bit of a neanderthal sometimes in terms of how kids should … be disciplined,” D.W. Moffett pointed out. ”I would not want my character to become super-understanding and supportive and the best dad ever.”

Switched At Birth‘s seemingly never-ending first season continues Sept. 3 on ABC Family, and things are about to get crazy hot — in the kitchen, of course. HollywoodLife.com chatted with star Katie Leclerc about the new batch of episodes, and she gave us all the scoop on Daphne’s crush-worthy boss, the shady new guy in Bay’s (Vanessa Marano) life, and so much more.

1. Kitchen dreams: “Daphne’s biggest priority, as these new episodes start, is finding a job,” Katie says. “She wants to work in a restaurant kitchen, but the owners are worried about her not being able to hear in a potentially dangerous environment. She figures out ways to compensate, and I think that’s what her eventual employer [Justin Bruening as Chef Jeff] will ultimately respect about her. He’s very handsome, too, so I think she’s pretty happy about that. I think, like any 16-year-old girl, Daphne is a little boy crazy — so there’s definitely room there.”

2. Bay’s return: “When season 1C starts, real time has passed,” Katie explains. “A summer has gone by, so there’s been time for healing — but also time for running away. Bay went to the Galapagos, which is a great place for her to go, and she comes back at the top of the premiere episode. She’s got a new boyfriend, and everybody’s like, ‘What’s going on? What are you doing?’ … I think Daphne and Emmett have reconciled; They’ve spent hours and hours lamenting his mistake, and she knows he knows it was wrong.”

3. About that ‘new boyfriend’: “I can tell you that Alex is Bay’s boyfriend from the Galapagos,” Katie reveals. “She comes back with him, and I think the Kennishes are very surprised because Bay’s basically gone from guy to guy to guy without any breaks. From Daphne and Toby’s perspective, I think they’re also concerned about Bay because they actually know what happened [between Bay and Emmett.]“

4. And then there’s Angelo: “This dude has been around and left about a hundred times before, so what does ‘around’ really mean?” Katie points out. “That’s what Daphne is struggling with. If this guy says he’s going to say — which I’m not saying he is — then she’s not going to trust him. She understands he’s not 100 percent bad, so she might have moments of connection with him, but she’s not going to let him into her life.”

5. The lawsuit: “I’m really excited that the lawsuit story gets wrapped up in these eight episodes,” Katie admits. “I think the way the writers divied out the wins and the losses, and what that means for the two families, was done in a really clever way.”

Tensions between the Kenish and Vasquez families were still running high on the Jan. 3 winter premiere of ABC Family’s Switched At Birth — and it seemed like all of their feuds could be traced back to everyone’s favorite deadbeat dad, Angelo (Gilles Marini)!

Regina (Constance Marie) tried to convince John (D.W. Moffett) to let Bay (Vanessa Marano) spend time with Angelo alone, but her plan backfired when John suggested that she tag along instead. Needless to say, this caused some tension between Regina and Daphne (Katie Leclerc), who’s still furious with Angelo for walking out on her when she was little.

If you predicted that Regina, Bay and Angelo’s night out at the jazz club would be super awkward, then feel free to pat yourself on the back. Because it was super awkward. Not only did Bay confess to dating Emmett, but Regina also butted heads with Angelo over her drinking problems.

Meanwhile, Kathryn (Lea Thompson) tried to bond with Daphne over scary movies, but Daphne decided she’d rather go see Emmett’s (Sean Berdy) band make their big music festival debut instead. She tried to have a private chat with Emmett, but her plans hit a snag when Toby (Lucas Grabeel) caught her leaving Emmett’s tent at 7 in the morning. Much freaking out ensued.

Daphne had a heart-to-heart with Wilke (Austin Butler) after the concert in which she pretty much declared her hatred for everyone — Angelo, her parents, Bay. Everybody. Well, everybody except for Emmett, who she’s obviously still crazy about. Wilke pushed her in the water to make her feel better — which was weird — but then he stripped down to join her — which was pretty spectacular.

Seriously, I can’t be the only one who wants Daphne and Wilke to hook up. Right?

Bay and Emmett had a brief scuffle of their own after she defended him against a stranger by using the not-so-smart line of “Leave him alone, he’s deaf!” And when their argument escalated and required a translator, Daphne came to the couple’s rescue — and made things kind of uncomfortable.

The girls had a luke-warm chat at the end of the episode, hinting that they might be on the way to rebuilding their friendship, but I wouldn’t expect them to be having any slumber parties anytime soon.

On the season finale of Switched at Birth, Emmett tried to decide whom he should be with, Bay or Daphne. Meanwhile, Regina tried to open her own hair salon, but wasn’t able to because she has a bad credit history. Wilke and Toby got a chance to open for Cold War Kids, but needed Emmett as a drummer. And most importantly, Angelo Sorrento, Bay’s biological father, came back into the picture! He told Mr. Kennish he has information proving the nurses at Bay and Daphne’s hospital were working thirty-six hours overtime the night they were switched.

I think that Emmett should stay with Bay. They get along so well and, as he said, he’s been waiting around for Daphne their entire lives and she’s never reciprocated his feelings. I think he made the right decision when he decided to go back to Bay, even after kissing Daphne. When he spoke with his voice the first time to Bay, it was so cute! Daphne needs to lay off, especially after making her declaration at the end of the episode. Yes, it was a mistake for Bay to make Daphne dump Liam, but she apologized. Daphne has to realize she lost her chance to get together with Emmett and live with the consequences.

I also think Emmett made the right decision when he agreed to drum for Wilke and Toby’s gig. He needs to branch out and make friends outside of the deaf community. I think it will be a good experience for him to chill with two hearing guys, especially since they’re all aiming for the same success with the band.

And I was so happy to finally meet Angelo! I thought it was a bit rude and impulsive of Mr. Kennish not to let Bay see him at first. It’s her business and her father and even though Mr. Kennish might feel replaced he has to understand what Angelo must mean to Bay. It’s pretty selfish of him not to let Bay see him.

I also thought it was inconsiderate of Daphne to say she had a problem with Angelo coming back in everyone’s life. I understand her point of view, but he is Bay’s father and the biological daughter has a right to see him and care about him.

However, I was a little freaked out by the ending, when he tells Regina he wants to start a new life with her. Does he want money from the hospital case? It sure sounds like it from the new nurse information he seems to have obtained. I hope he’s a good guy though, for Bay’s sake.

I can’t wait for the next season!
