If Tom Welling couldn’t do it, Tyler would have been our second choice. The ‘Teen Wolf’ alum has officially joined The CW’s ‘Supergirl’ as he long lost cousin, Clark Kent, AKA Superman. Bonus: we know he looks hot in glasses.
We assume we’ll be seeing Tyler Hoechlin take his clothes off in Fifty Shades Darker, and who would have thought those shirt ripping abilities would come in handy?! On June 16, The CW announced that he will officially be joining Supergirl alongside Kara (Melissa Benoist) as the one and only Superman.
The search is on for the Man of Steel, but for fans on Twitter (myself included), there’s not really a better option out there than Tom Welling.
Superman is officially coming back to The CW to join Supergirl — and while we’re not sure it’s completely necessary, the news has everyone talking about who could and should join as Melissa Benoist‘s long lost cousin. When it comes to social media, it’s no surprise that Tom Welling is leading the pack with nominations!
The box office hit ‘Gravity’ made headlines for its amazing visuals and its dominance at the 2014 Oscars — but now there’s something new about the flick that’s grabbing people’s attention. A rejected alternate opening has surfaced online and it’s pretty super! Watch it right here!
Gravity‘s suspenseful opening sequence had moviegoers on the edge of their seats. However, a rejected alternate opening that involves a hilarious cameo from Christopher Reeves‘ Superman has gone viral, and it is guaranteed to make you laugh!
Ben has gotten a lot of flack from online fans ever since he was chosen as the next Batman, but one person who knows a few things about starring in Batman films has his back. Chris, who once played Robin, tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY his thoughts on Bat Affleck!
Ben Affleck is Batman in the Man of Steel sequel, and everyone is just going to have to deal with that and enjoy it. And if you are still not convinced, maybe it will take Batman’s trusty friend and sidekick Robin to sway your feelings. Because when is Robin ever wrong?
Celebrate Superman’s 75th birthday with an extended look at his most epic movie yet, hitting theaters June 14.
Superman turns the big 7-5 today, and we’re happy to confirm that the boy in blue looks better than ever! The extended Man Of Steel trailer hit the web earlier this week, and it’s safe to say Henry Cavill‘s take on the classic hero will soon wash the bad taste of Superman Returns out of our mouths for good. Along with mind-blowing action scenes, the full trailer also gives us our first look at the playful relationship between Superman and Lois Lane (Amy Adams) — and who doesn’t love that?
A brand-new video gives us our first look at Superman’s family, enemies, and of course, Lois Lane.
Man of Steel isn’t due out in theaters until the summer of 2013, but thanks to the first full-length trailer of Zack Snyder‘s new movie, we have a feeling it’ll be worth the wait. Not only are we given many new and exciting views of Henry Cavill in full Superman garb — there’s a particularly excellent shot of him emerging from a burning room that we’ve got on repeat — but it also provides a first glimpse at many of the faces we’ve been dying to see.
Henry Cavill makes a damn fine-looking Superman in this first-look poster.
Superman may be more powerful than a locomotive, but in this brand-new poster for The Man of Steel, we see Henry Cavill in a far more vulnerable state. Why (and how) is the boy in blue also in handcuffs? That’s a good question; unfortunately, we might have to wait until the movie’s June 14 release.
After much talk and speculation, Kristen confirms her role in ‘Snow White’ in a new interview!
Kristen Stewart has finally revealed some of her plans following Breaking Dawn, and it looks like she will be appearing in Snow White and the Huntsman! In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kristen was asked about rumors she would be playing the fair-skinned fairytale character and said she was “almost positive” she would be taking the part!
Was I watching One Tree Hill tonight… or Lost? The similarities are uncanny.
While I disagree with the show’s decision to extend Clay’s (Robert Buckley) adventures in Purgatory for yet another week, I will applaud the Sept. 21 episode of The CW’s One Tree Hill for trying something weird. Sure, we’ve seen another version of this storyline before — remember when Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) had a post-heartattack visit to the afterlife? — but I was still legitimately sucked into it. When Clay watched himself dying, I felt like I was watching myself dying. Spooky stuff.
They’re young, they’re tough, they’re keeping the streets safe for their celebrity parents! It’s Super-Kingston and Bat-Milo!
Halloween might be almost two months away, but that’s not stopping Milo Langdon, 6, from getting his superhero on. Hanging out on Labor Day weekend in New York with mom Liv Tyler, 33, Milo channeled his inner Bruce Wayne by donning the familiar gray and black of Gotham City’s most famous defender, Batman (minus the secret identity-protecting mask, of course).
It’s not the first time Kingston has masqueraded as the Man of Steel, but this time he’s practicing his X-ray vision.
Kingston Rossdale sure likes his superheroes, especially Superman! When the 4-year-old son of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale isn’t seen wearing his red Superman T-shirt, he’s decked out in a costume befitting the Man of Steel! And this isn’t the first time we’ve seen it.

That’s right, folks! It’s Madonna’s son versus Gwen Stefani’s in a fashion face-off!
It’s a high stakes showdown over who wears their newsboy cap better! In this corner, 5-year-old David Ritchie, and in that corner is 4-year-old Kingston Rossdale. Both are the sons of famous people (David’s adoptive parents are Madonna and Guy Ritchie, Kingston is the progeny of Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani), and know how to make a fashion statement.
