Kate Bosworth‘s new flick Straw Dogs is really scary — so it’s no wonder why it was intense to film! HollywoodLife.com got a chance to see the upcoming film at the NYC premiere of the film hosted by the Cinema Society and we spoke to Kate about what it was like play a woman who gets stalked and raped by her ex-boyfriend played by Alexander Skarsgård.  

“I felt like I wan in a constant state of anxiety,” she tells HollywoodLife.com. “Of course it’s a brilliant ritual just to constantly make sure the bar is raised and go to work every day and give it your all. The last three weeks of the film [shooting the rape scene] were incredibly demanding both emotionally and physically and we all really hunkered down,” she explained. “To stay in your emotional head space for something like this, it’s almost like training for a marathon. It’s really quite an intense experience. “

The film is the remake of Sam Peckinpah’s 1971 film of the same name — and we must say director Rod Lurie definitely did the film’s original justice. In case you forgot, Halloween is just next month and this is the perfect film to kick off the slew of horror flicks that will follow.

These two gorgeous blonds have kept their romance pretty quiet, but finally went public with their love when Kate Bosworth walked the red carpet at Alexander Skarsgard’s True Blood premiere in Hollywood.

Female hearts across the world are simultaneously breaking now that Alexander Skarsgard is so blatantly off the market. Kate Bosworth, the Swedish hunk’s Straw Dogs co-star and rumored GF, walked the red carpet at her man’s season 3 premiere of his HBO show, True Blood, in Hollywood June 8, finally outing their relationship once and for all.

After the premiere, the toothy twosome headed to West Hollywood nightclub Bouelvard 3, where one eyewitness says the pair were the belles of the bloody ball. “Alex and Kate held court at a table in the middle of the room. They weren’t too openly affectionate and kept getting sidetracked by people coming up to say hello and congrats,” the insider tells HollywoodLife.com, adding, “Kate seemed happy to play the supportive girlfriend role and was smiling and chatting with the people at the table as well as Alex’s friends.”

We’ve seen Kate, 27, play nice with the 33-year-old hunk’s friends before — we caught them in a serious lip-lock at HBO’s Golden Globes party back in January, and Kate even rode on Alex’s muscular shoulders at the Coachella Valley Music Festival April 18.

Damn. Why are all the good ones always taken?

How hot is Alexander Skarsgard? We’re practically salivating over the cover of this month’s LA Times Magazine as the hunky Swede – who plays vampire sheriff Eric Northman on HBO’s True Blood – graces the cover.

But if you thought Alexander was just aimlessly wandering around making out with rumored gal pal Kate Bosworth, you’ll be happy to hear that’s been a busy man during his show’s hiatus, filming not one but TWO movies: Straw Dogs and the Swedish film Trust Me. Bloody fantastic! The more Alexander, the merrier!

Check out what the hot 33-year-old had to say in his interview with LA Times Magazine, where he dishes about entourages, cinema and trying to commute across the world to do his movie Trust Me and True Blood!

• On playing a vampire: “People are kind of intrigued because they represent immortality. And a character like Eric has been around for a thousand years. All that wisdom and experience—you carry it around with you. That’s attractive.”

• On working on two projects at the same time: “I flew back and forth between Shreeport, Louisiana, and this tiny island on the Baltic Sea. It was a bit of a nightmare, because it took, like, 23 hours to get from one place to another… I probably aged about 20 years doing that.”

• On having an entourage: “I’m not a “Hollywood” actor. I am a social guy, but I’m not one of those actors who will show up to a shoot with 15 agents and managers and publicists. An entourage like that just makes me uncomfortable.”

Oh, please say it isn’t true … our crush, the hunky Alexander Skarsgard, has gone and gotten himself a girlfriend!

We’ve been speculating about the relationship between True Blood hottie Alex Skarsgard and his Straw Dogs co-star Kate Bosworth for months…and now we need not wonder any more. These two are fully on, and their relationship is pretty damn steamy.

The couple arrived separately to HBO’s Golden Globes fete Jan. 17 around 10:45. While Alex, 33, schmoozed and mingled, Kate, 27, stood quietly in a corner with her beau’s Blood co-star, Ryan Kwanten. But clearly, after minutes away from his lady, Alex was ready for a taste of her blood. Or her lips. Whatever.

Like the best make-out moment in any movie, the Swedish star strode up to his diminutive gal pal, put her face in his hands and gave her a longgggggggggg, slow kiss. So Hollywood! It was almost like no one else was in the room: they stood in the crowded bar area of the Beverly Hilton’s pool area kissing like the world was going to end. Hot!

We even saw some booty action: after Kate wrapped her arms around Alex, she grabbed his butt. Can’t say we blame her – it’s a great butt.

After some giggling, whispering and snuggling, the two walked off together hand in hand.

And there you have it, folks. Officially consider us colored pea-green with envy. But will it last? Is this ‘True’ romance or just another quickie on-set love affair?
