Sophia’s paternal grandmother Stormie Clark is worried that Farrah’s move away to college without Sophia, may be hurting the toddler — ‘This has to be scaring Sophia,’ she says!

Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham shocked fans when she broke down on TV and revealed that she was not only moving to Florida to attend school, but would be leaving her 2-year-old daughter Sophia behind with her mother, Debra Danielson, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The separation between her and Sophia undoubtedly would cause problems. Now, paternal grandmother Stormie Clark‘s torn up over Farrah’s decision and fears that Farrah’s absence is greatly upsetting Sophia!

“It saddens me deeply,” Stormie tells OK! magazine. “This has to be scaring Sophia, not seeing her mother every day.”

It’s totally disheartening that Farrah decided to move without Sophia. “I was absolutely appalled to hear that Farrah had left Sophia with Debra,” says Stormie.

Stormie’s also upset that she doesn’t get to see Sophia anymore as she doesn’t have visitation rights. “Sophia is always on our minds and we pray for her every day,” she shares. “We wish that Farrah would open her heart and realize that Sophia needs to know all of her grandparents. We would cherish every second that we had with her.”

Stormie Clark hasn’t been able to see baby Sophia since her chance encounter with her granddaughter at a park last summer, but she thinks Sophia may need to be checked out by a doctor!

Farrah Abraham hasn’t let her deceased baby’s daddy’s mom see baby Sophia since she was born, but Stormie Clark tells HollyBaby.com she did have a chance encounter with her granddaughter over the summer when she ran into the baby with a sitter at the local park.  As a mother herself for more than 21 years, she noticed Sophia’s development was not up to where it should be.

“When I was holding her and talking to her and playing with her, I could tell her developmental skills weren’t up to par,” Stormie tells us exclusively. “Sophia couldn’t stand or walk, it seemed like something was wrong with her.”

Stormie isn’t the first person to have come out publicly about Sophia’s development. In an interview with OK! magazine, licensed childcare provider Brittney Sheer told the mag, “Farrah tended to leave Sophia with strangers a lot.”

What’s worse is that the sitters are claiming Farrah neglects her child (forgetting to pick her up), and that there are dirty diapers sitting all over her house!

We hope Farrah is looking out for baby Sophia and that she’s actually developing just fine!

Farrah has no grudges against Sophia’s grandfather Jerry — that’s why he gets to see her at least twice in season three of Teen Mom, unlike grandma Stormie Clark.

It seems that Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham plays favorites when it comes to the visitation rights of her 21-month-old daughter Sophia. Despite being in a custody battle with her deceased ex Derek‘s mother, Stormie Clark, and denying Stormie visitation rights all together, Farrah has, we’ve learned, let one family member get close with little Sophia … the baby’s grandfather, Jerry Underwood!

Farrah and baby Sophia apparently filmed two episodes for the upcoming season three of Teen Mom in St. Joseph, MO, where grandpa Jerry currently resides, a close insider tells HollywoodLife.com. “Jerry was filmed two times seeing Sophia during a visit,” says the source.

Farrah has no tiffs with Derek’s father as she has only met the man once prior to the filming. “She met Derek’s dad one time while he was still alive,” confirms the insider. (Derek passed away in a car crash in 2008.)

“Only the people whom she doesn’t have a grudge against get to see Sophia,” adds the source. “Anyone else, she is keeping Sophia away from. It’s a control thing.”

Stormie, the estranged grandmother of baby Sophia, tells HollywoodLife.com she’ll fight Farrah to the bitter end in order to see her granddaughter!

Farrah Abraham is battling it out with her daughter’s grandmother, Stormie Clark, and it’s only getting worse. A judge recently denied Stomie visitation rights to her 21-month-old granddaughter, Sophia, and since then she’s set out on a very public mission to get it overturned!

“I’m not giving up,” she says. “Right now I’m looking into every aspect to think of some way to get visitation rights. I’m exploring my options. It would be nice if Farrah came around … it doesnt look like she will anytime soon.”

Stormie’s son, Derek, died in a car crash in 2008, and since then Farrah has reportedly denied Stormie the opportunity to see her granddaughter.

“We are all sad. We are all still grieving Derek’s loss. It feels like another loss now that I can’t get visitation rights due to the Iowa laws,” says Stormie. “Sophia needs to see both sides of her family, not just one.”

Even though Stormie says Farrah reached out to her for the first time in three years, she believes it’s all for Teen Mom‘s ratings.

Farrah Abraham cut her daughter’s grandmother Stormie Clark out of their lives and now she’s firing back! Stormie tells Life & Style that Farrah is “selfish” and using baby Sophia!

“She’s a heartless spoiled brat and doesn’t deserve Sophia,” says Stormie.

Stormie’s son and father of baby Sophia, Derek, passed away in 2008 after being involved in a fatal car crash.

“Farrah has to understand how devastated I am to have lost my son and now to lose my granddaughter,” says Stormie. “If Derek were alive he’d be devastated.”

Stormie, who originally told HollywoodLife.com that she would only give an interview for money, tells the magazine that Farrah wouldn’t even allow her to meet her granddaughter!

“I have every right to see my granddaughter,” she says. “Farrah wouldn’t let me see Sophia so the judge ruled against me [in a visitation rights case Oct. 26] It’s absolutely not fair.”

Stomie tells Life & Style that she happened to run into baby Sophia at the park one day, and it was her one chance to “shower Sophia was hugs and kisses.”

Stormie Clark, the mother of Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham‘s late baby daddy Derek, was denied “grandparent’s rights” Oct. 26 in Pottawattamie County Court. In order for a judge to have approved said rights to visitation, Stormie would have needed to prove she has a pre-existing relationship with baby Sophia (which she doesn’t), or that Farrah is unfit to decide who Sophia should or shouldn’t be around (which she is not.)

The situation is simpler than the attached legal jargon makes it sound, but that doesn’t make Sophia’s relationship with Derek’s family any less messy.
