The Comedy Central Roast Of Charlie Sheen drew huge numbers, but Steve-O — one of the Charlie‘s roasters — claims the fun evening didn’t detract from the fact that he thinks the troubled star is still on drugs!

Steve-O, 37, said he believes Charlie, 46, is still using, Zap2it reports.

“The night the roast aired he had a party at his house and I tweeted a picture with him and my tweet said, ‘I believe I’m at the most expensive crack house on the planet.’” he said. “And I probably was, for god’s sakes. I shouldn’t say I know anything, but I don’t think [he's sober]. But it is what it is. I try to stay off my soapbox.”

This quote from Ryan Dunn was recalled by friend and Jackass producer Knate Gwaltney in his blog entry about the late Jackass star days following his death. The blog also features entries from friends like Jackass co-stars Johnny Knoxville and Steve-O as a way to remember happier times with their late pal. At the top of the blog is the tribute video, first featured at the memorial gathering at the Paramount Pictures lot in Los Angeles June 29.

“He lived his life wanting to laugh and wanting you to laugh with him,” said Johnny in his Dickhouse.tv blog entry. In it, he mentioned trying to convey his feelings about Ryan that he couldn’t seem to muster when speaking at his memorial in West Chester, Pennsylvania June 22. The memorial was the first of many tributes to Ryan, who died in a car crash June 20 along with friend, Zachary Hartwell.

Friends gathered again June 29 — this time in Los Angeles — at the Paramount Pictures lot, to mourn the loss of their friend. But it wasn’t all crying and tears for the 75 attendees when the tribute video was shown of the late Jackass star. The video featured some of the daredevil’s most laughable moments from the hit show and spin-off movies.

The second part of the video includes a song that Johnny Knoxville’s cousin, Roger Alan Wade, wrote specially for Ryan called “The Light Outlives the Star.”

“Ryan was really crazy about my cousin Roger,” said Johnny. “He loved his music and really looked up to him. Rog’ was equally as crazy about Ryan and, like everyone else, was shook by his passing.”

Steve-O, 37, is coping with the loss of close friend and fellow Jackass co-star Ryan Dunn, who died in a car crash June 20 with a blood-alcohol concentration of .196 at the age of 37. Devastated, Steve-O cancelled six comedy shows since the accident. “I don’t know what to say, except I love Ryan Dunn and I’m really going to miss him,” he tweeted.

The comedian recently teamed up with longtime buddies Ryan, Johnny Knoxville, and Bam Margera for the franchise’s latest film, Jackass 3. This meeting was different, since Steve-O has changed his ways and stopped drinking.

“We have never really hung out without a reason except to get loaded,” he said in an interview with TheFix.com. “If you’re going to put yourself in a situation with people who aren’t sober, you want to be able to have a real reason to be in that situation.”

Behind the scenes, Steve-O stayed strong and refused to drink and do drugs like he did during every other shoot. “I don’t have any legit reason to be in a situation to watch those guys drink. The whole time we did that third movie, I never once did that,” he explained.

However, it wasn’t easy for him to stay sober, since he was under the influence while performing stunts in the past and felt like he needed to rectify his toughness.

“It was so important to me to prove that I still had that in me—-that sobriety hadn’t turned me into a p****,” he said. “It was sober Steve-O versus loaded Steve-O.”

His problems did not end with just alcohol. Steve-O also struggled with other drugs on set as well.

“I bought an eight ball of cocaine and one or two vials of Ketamine,” he said. “I sat there doing line after line of the blow.”

What made the wild boy change his ways? “Basically, I took an honest look at myself and at my actions, and was horrified and felt like I couldn’t forgive or live with myself,” he said. “I wanted to blow my brains out. And I don’t think I ever came close to actually killing myself but I felt so uncomfortable, I didn’t want to live. I checked myself into a second psych ward and that was when it dawned on me that suicide was not the answer.”

He released a book documenting his tumultuous times with drugs and road to recovery in Steve-O: Professional Idiot. “I think people will be surprised to find that I’m not as much of an idiot as they think I am,” he said about the book. “I’m not a real moron.”
