As the world reacts to reports Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith‘s 13-year marriage is over, the most recent photo of their 10-year-old daughter Willow, taken on Sunday, August 21, shows her looking tired and wrought with emotion. Just a coincidence, or she is devastated by the break-up?

In Touch broke the news of the split on Tuesday, August 23, claiming the couple had separated.

When quizzed by TMZ, a rep denied all knowledge, insisting, “What? In Touch said that? I know nothing about this … Lord. I’m going back to bed.”

But Willow’s definitely upset about something. The Smiths are a fiercely tight family and a separation is bound to profoundly affect Willow and her big brother Jaden, 13.

Jade Duell only gave birth to Owen’s baby son Robert Ford five months ago!

The couple reportedly split because Owen Wilson wouldn’t commit! But they had a BABY together — that’s a massive commitment!

“Owen wanted the freedom to do what he wanted with his friends, both male and female, while remaining a family unit with Jade and the baby,” a source tells the National Enquirer.

“But Jade wasn’t willing to go along with that, so Owen decided to end things with her instead of cheating behind her back.”

Owen, 42, shocked everyone when he announced he was going to be a dad just four days before air marshall Jade Duell gave birth in January — we didn’t even know they were dating!

But he seemed to embrace his newfound fatherhood, telling Access Hollywood after Robert was born, “I was never like somebody who was like, ‘Oh gosh, it’s a little baby! Let me hold it.”

“They’re so fragile, but then when it is your own, all of a sudden you feel a lot more confident. You really do have this bond, this real connection with this thing that a month ago wasn’t even here. It is strange… Their cries are like beautiful music!”

What a shame he didn’t share the same bond with Jade. Let’s hope the couple can keep things amicable for Robert’s sake.

Former husband-and-wife duo Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe put their break-up behind them to join and support their son Deacon on May 14.

Christina Aguilera has finally revealed the reason behind her sudden split from husband Jordan Bratman, telling People magazine she had to extract herself from the increasingly unhealthy relationship to save her 2-year-old son, Max, from needless suffering. “I knew I had to end it,” she says. “It wasn’t good for Max to witness our arguments.”

In the candid new interview, Christina provides a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her deeply unhappy household. While out in public, the couple seemed like a Hollywood dream come true, but at home the couple’s relationship had turned into a nightmare. “We were great for the first year after Max was born,” she reveals. “Then things turned.”

It took getting away from Jordan and going on location to film Burlesque to open Christina’s eyes to just how bad things had become in her family life. When she returned, she realized that her taste of independence had shown her that “things didn’t feel right in my own home,” she says now. “We just weren’t right for each other. I couldn’t face living another five years being unhappy.”

As a child of divorce herself, Christina knew what she would have to make the same painful decision her own mother had been forced to make in order to provide a happier home for her young son. “It’s not good for kids to grow up with constant arguments,” she says. “Children can feel when things aren’t right… I knew that Max would benefit from us separating.”

She admits that there are lasting emotional scars from her own parents’ divorce that she is hoping to have saved her son from experiencing: “There’s guilt. There’s shame.” And in the end she hopes to have made the best decision for Max’s emotional well-being. “I strongly believe it’s better to have two homes filled with love than one home filled with tension,” she says.

In the weeks since she left Jordan, Christina has been spotted out in New York City and Los Angeles with Matthew Rutler, a production assistant she met on the set of Burlesque. And how is little Max faring since the split? “We say, ‘Tomorrow is Daddy’s day’ or ‘Tomorrow is Mommy’s day.’ I squeeze him a little harder, give more kisses.” But possibly most telling is Christina’s response when asked about her own state of mind since she split with Jordan: “I keep my tears away from my son.”

Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, 34 has called it quits with actress Halle Berry, 43. A source says their nine-year age difference was the cause of the split! But Halle is keeping her head high. We saw her last night at Cipriani, looking gorgeous, happy and ready to take on the world.

The twice-divorced actress and the model have a daughter, Nahla Ariela, 2. A source close to the couple says that Gabriel initiated the split months ago after he started noticing and being attracted to other women.

“Gabriel just felt it wasn’t working anymore. When they were first together the 9-year age difference between them didn’t phase him, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever dated and he was totally in love,” a source told RadarOnline.

“Gabriel is a really nice, decent guy and he would never cheat on her, but I suspect that he had become attracted to someone and that he felt he needed to break it off with Halle before anything developed any further.”

Gabriel and Halle split quietly months ago and have already negotiated custody of Nahla and the split of their property. Gabriel isn’t asking for any money from Halle. He may not make as much as the multi-million actress but he still makes a decent income from his modeling campaigns.

Gabriel will get the couple’s home in Canada, for which he has been jointly paying.

“As much as it can be it’s been an amicable split. They both traveled a lot for work anyway, so they were used to spending time apart for long periods, but I think Halle has taken it pretty badly, she truly loved Gabriel and thought she had found the one,” the source told RadarOnline.

But Halle was all smiles when we saw her at the DKMS Gala at Cipriani last night, walking the red carpet in a stunning asymmetrical gown. It seems impossible that any man would want to look at another woman when he had Halle on his arm.
