Kody Brown has four wives, and pretty soon, his hit show Sister Wives will have four seasons! TLC confirms to HollywoodLife.com that the series, which aired its third season finale Jan. 1, will be back for another season, though a premiere date has yet to be determined.

Sister Wives‘ third season was arguably its most dramatic one yet, especially when it came to Kody’s relationship with his first wife, Meri. He practically demanded that she give him another baby — 17 kids is clearly not enough for him — and he wanted to give Meri the first opportunity to grow the family.

“We just can’t keep going in these circles,” Kody told Meri during one particularly heated argument. “You might feel different when we’re in our new homes. I know it’s hard.”

And the issue still hadn’t been resolved as of the season finale, even though Robyn offered herself up as a surrogate. I guess we’ll have to wait until season four to find out if Meri changes her mind!

‘Sister Wives’ Cancellation Rumors:

This news should come as a relief to fans who suspected the show had been canceled, following a cryptic tweet from one of the wives.

“Thanks everyone for tuning in last week for r season finale,” Janelle tweeted Jan. 6. “Hope 2 see u all again soon. Keep up with us all in Twitter in the meanwhile.”

Well, now we can officially confirm that we will see Janelle again, along with the rest of the Brown clan.

Kody Brown and his four wives — Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn — continued adding the finishing touches to their four new homes on the Dec. 30 season finale of Sister Wives, but the realities of the cost of building four new houses — one for each wife– started to set in.

House Wars: The Wives Gang Up On Kody

As Kody sat down with each wife and went through the design details for her home, the Brown family started to realize just how much each home will really cost. Tensions flared when wife #1, Meri, protested after Kody told her she was already over budget for her home.

Meri was so adamant about having a wet bar in her home that she seemed to have forgotten all about budgeting! As she and Kody butted heads, she even went as far as to bring Robyn into the room to attempt to gain an ally on the matter.

This obviously increased tensions as Kody felt like the women were ganging up on him. And I have to say, I don’t blame him. It seems as if the wives, Meri especially, are having a difficult time sacrificing tiny details of their dream homes. But sometimes sacrifices have to be made in order to keep the finances of a family afloat!

“I have got a lot of relationships going on here,” Kody said. “I’m just trying to get through this as fast and affordably as possible.”

Despite having difficulties agreeing on budgetary matters, the Brown family is dead set on building these dream homes. But as they revealed on the post-finale reunion, Sister Wives: Secrets Revealed, they do not yet own these home, and until they “sign on the dotted line,” nothing is for sure.

Saying Goodbye To Logan

In the midst of planning their dream homes, the Brown family also was planning for their first child to leave home. Logan, son of wife #2 Janelle, graduated high school and was preparing to go off to college.

Naturally, the thought of a child leaving home for the first time is difficult, but Logan’s leaving proved to be especially tough as he was the first Brown child to leave home. More importantly, the wives now realize that the other children are soon to follow Logan. Mariah and Asypn are not far behind him and will graduate the next year.

Logan revealed that he is excited to head out into the big world on his own, but he is “nervous about how dorm neighbors will perceive the polygamist lifestyle.” I must say that this is totally understandable. Going to college is daunting enough, but to go to college coming from such a unique background will certainly be a challenge for Logan. But it is a challenge the Browns — and myself — know he is ready for.

“The thrill of this new adventure is overshadowing my nervousness,” Logan said.

In preparation for Logan’s goodbye party, the family signed a quilt made by Robyn’s sister Fawn, which was a mixture of extremely precious and very, very bizarre. The quilt contained pictures and signatures of everyone in the Brown family — all 22 of them. The handmade quilt will be perfect for those nights when Logan is in his dorm room and wants to look down on his bed sheets and see his whole family… all at once.

Now don’t get me wrong, this is a very sweet gift, but not many 18 year olds are too keen to take pictures of their family, let alone a quilt with pictures of them, off to college. But Logan graciously and sentimentally accepted the family’s gift:

“My first thought was no way I’m taking this to a dorm with me. But my second thought was that it was well made and had all their signatures. I was touched.”

And I was touched by Logan’s kind response to the family’s gift!

The family also gave Logan another priceless gift — a video of each member of the family sharing a memory or story about Logan. Now this is a truly priceless and special gift!

Kody Faces The Reality Of His Hair

As the Browns faced the reality of Logan leaving, they were also forced to face the reality of another very big issue: Kody’s thinning hair.

Kody’s hairstylist of over a year, Kennedy, commented that Kody’s hair has been looking thinner for quite some time. Kody agreed and told her he wants to just shave it all off. But just as she turned on the razor, he admitted he was only joking.

“I don’t think your wives would ever talk to me again,” Kennedy told Kody when he joked about shaving his head. And Kody agreed.

“My wives love the long hair,” he said. “They love the surfer look.” And well, don’t we all?

Christine revealed that she was “creeped out” when Kody had a buzz cut once years ago. Despite the hairy problem, Kody promised his wives he will not shave his hair until after they’ve talked more.

Whew! Now that was a close one. I don’t think anyone is ready for Kody to lose his signature blond surfer ‘do!

Setting Down Brown Family Roots

As the season finale came to a close, one thing was clear: this is a committed family.

“Obviously we wouldn’t be together now if we weren’t committed,” Meri explained in the after-show tell-all. And I think their commitment is quite obvious. This is one family that loves one another even when they fight, bicker and struggle.

With Logan leaving for college and the family in the middle of building four new homes, the Browns realized they need to firmly plant their family roots.

“Thinking about the other kids leaving. We have to have these houses like homes,” Christine said. “We need to establish roots. We have to unite there to get them to come back home.”

The other three wives tearfully agreed and decided to try to have the homes completed by December so the family could have Christmas together — perhaps one last time.

Is Meri Having Another Baby?

But the season didn’t end without Kody raising the burning question one last time: Will Meri agree to have another baby?

Despite Meri’s difficulty in conceiving, Robyn has offered to be a surrogate for Meri, yet Meri still remains on the fence about it. She is content with her one biological child, Mariah, while Kody remains adamant as ever in having another child.

“I want to know Meri’s decision,” Kody bluntly put it. ”Once we’ve moved into the house, then we’ll make a decision. Yes or no.”

Will the Browns be able to afford their dream homes? Will Kody shave his head? Will Logan use his family-picture blanket at school? And will Meri have another child? These are all questions we’ll have to wait to get answers to next season!

Sister Wives Kody Brown -- I may not agree with you taking four wives, but I say, live and let live, and I felt sorry for your family — especially your children when you were refused entry to a Mormon museum because of your lifestyle. It happened during a grueling family trip — it could hardly be called a vacation — to Nauvoo, Illinois, the birthplace of Mormonism.

Kody and his four wives, Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn, endured three days of endless driving for 15 to 16 hours in two giant RVs to get from Las Vegas to Nauvoo. With 15 children on board, including several extremely reluctant teenagers, every pitstop on the trip took an hour — not 15 minutes — and Kody had the biggest meltdown we’ve ever seen on the tv series.

Sister Wives Kody Brown’s Epic Meltdown

Kody, we learned, you need a lot more than the four hours a night of sleep that you were  getting on this trip or you get majorly cranky. “I try to rotate and spend time with all my wives,” you said, explaining your exasperation with the RV setup. “I hate that word ‘rotate,’” complains Robyn, who should be used to the idea of rotating since she did marry Kody, who already had three other wives.

“I was ready to meltdown because I was too exhausted to sit here and try and delegate. I wanted to bark orders and have them obeyed,” Kody said. ” I think ‘obey’ is a four letter word”, Christine, wisely told you off.

“I needed to stop and get everybody out of my face,” Kody complained. Hey Kody — you were the one who wanted to take 21 people in two RVs on a three-day marathon drive.

Wisely, Kody, you realized before totally letting loose that you needed a time out.  ”You’re kind of at a point where you think losing your temper can do a lot of emotional damage, so I just wanted to call on God to help me maintain a decent disposition,” said Kody – which was definitely a good idea.

Violent Beginnings For Polygamy

The Brown adults are all excited to go back to Nauvoo, where founders of Mormonism Joseph and his brother Hyrum lived and were later murdered because of their commitment to polygamy. Joseph believed he was commanded by God to have plural wives. Apparently, he ended up having 33 wives.

“He did a fine job of it, but I’m not interested in that big of a task,” Kody admitted.

The family is all freaked out when their tour guide in Nauvoo, Joseph Johnstun -- a non-polygamist Mormom —  tells them that 12 of Joseph Smith’s wives had other husbands — in other words, “brother husbands.”

The whole family is upset to hear about how Joseph and Hyrum were basically lynched by a prejudiced mob in Carthage, because they were polygamists.

The Brown Family Faces Prejudice

How ironic, that Kody and the Brown family encounter prejudice — not deadly of course, but prejudice, just the same, when they are in that very town. Also, it turns out that Robyn’s great, great great grandfather – John Sullivan Fullmer was the lawyer for Joseph Smith and Christine’s great great great grandfather, William Adams, watched some of the mayhem involved in the episode. The Browns’ polygamist roots, go back a long way.

How sad, that a museum director would deny entry to a museum because he doesn’t approve of the Browns’ religious beliefs. That is so disappointing in a country that prides itself on being accepting of all peaceful people, despite their race, sex, ethnicity or religious beliefs.

“Once in a while, it’s made very clear to us that we have prejudice against us, ” says Janelle. “It’s just me and I’m accepting of other people ( she is) and it hurts.” It does.

Kody Brown — Why He’s More Committed To Polygamy Than Ever

Kody – you ended the episode boldly re-affirming to us all that “I believe Joseph Smith was inspired by God  to have plural wives. Absolutely.”

After seeing the jail, where Joseph Smith was shot and bayonetted in a violent death, you wisely say, “When I’m feeling sorry for myself because my wives are treating me like a ping pong ball I realize so many others have sacrificed so much so I could live in plural marriage in peace.”

Kody Brown, and his four wives faced a tall order when they invited young escapees from extreme polygamist groups to their homes to see that a polygamist family can be loving and not abusive.

Kolleen, Nicole, Steven and Suzanne are four young people getting desperately needed help from a  Mormon Fundamentalist “rescue” group called Holding out HELP, after escaping from two extremist polygamist groups where they had been traumatized.

Suzanne fled the infamous Warren Jeff’s FLDS community with her mother and five sisters after her father was sent away from the group and was forced to tell his children that he was no longer their father. She cries as she explains that her mom and siblings now have no idea of where he is.

Kolleen ran away from her abusive home in the “Kingston” polygamist sect after a life of oppression. “One of my earliest memories is of my father beating me up,” she told Brown teen siblings, Logan, Madison and Aspyn.

Thirteen year-olds Forced to Marry 40 Year-old Men

Nicole “got out” of the Kingston community after her father tried to force her to marry someone she didn’t like at 16. She tells the Brown teens that she knew five 13-year-old girls in her community who were forced to marry 40-year-old men. “They were physically, sexually and physically abused or all three,” she recounts.

Steven was thrown out of his home and never allowed to return after he stayed out until 2 a.m. one night with friends.

All four are now bitterly opposed to polygamy much to the dismay of the Brown teens even though neither Madison nor Logan plan to personally be polygamists anyway.

Aspyn nevertheless would still like to be a sister wive.

“I wouldn’t want to live it (polygamy) because I have a brain,” insists Kolleen. “I want to yell at the Browns,” she says. “I want to tell them (polygamy) isn’t as happy as it seems.”

Madison responds that she doesn’t want to live in polygamy but “I support my parents 100% because they are good people.”

The Evil Side of Polygamy

She breaks down in tears saying that “It’s disgusting that people like Warren Jeffs took polygamy and abused it so all those kids know is the evil side of polygamy and they’re scared by it.”

All four escapees are deeply grateful to Holding Out HELP which was taken them under its wing.

“These people have lost everything. They don’t know how to navigate in the outside world,” explains Tonia from the organization. “These Fundamentalist Mormons don’t know where to turn. They’re family is cut off. Their life is cut off and they need someone to walk along side them.”

Kolleen, a pretty punky blonde, was set up with a host family that she has lived with for some time and has come to love.

“I consider my host family, my family and it’s a world of difference. I have a mom that’s there for me, and I have a dad now,” she says.

The Cruel Father Kolleen Barely Knew

Her own father visited her home growing up, very infrequently and was treated like royalty when he came. “When my dad would come over, my mom would freak. He’d have special glass dishes just for him. He was the king,” relates Kolleen.

Kolleen warns “brainwashed child” Aspyn: “The chances of you marrying a polygamist and them being as good as your family are very slim,” and she tells Madison that “you have to be a very dumb person to be a polygamist.”

It’s easy to see why Kolleen is so dead set against polygamy, Kody and his wives agree, but they are desperate to show her that THEIR family life is the complete opposite of what she grew up with.

“I was always shunned in my community,” says Kolleen. “Everyone started calling me the devil’s child.”

Nicole Calls Polygamy Prostitution

Nicole tells the Browns that she had 27 moms but “not one was around. My mom was too busy just fighting for attention from my dad.”

She thinks polygamy is “a bunch of control freaks that get into power and it’s prostitution.” Strong stuff.

The sister wives – Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn  all agree that the ugly, old-fashioned dresses that Suzanne was forced to wear in the Warren Jeff’s FLDS community were dresses “of oppression.”

But the Brown take some satisfaction showing the abused polygamist escapees that they have sadly grown up in a completely different polygamist world than theirs.

What is especially sad is how Kolleen and Nicole have desperately missed having a father in their lives. It’s so obvious in their wistful comments about Kody, who has clearly impressed them with his commitment to being a father.

Wishing They Had a Real & Loving Father

“Seeing your family, I see it is possible to live it in the right way. Seeing your dad being a real husband and dad, I have a lot of respect for him — it’s awesome.,” admits Nicole.

Kolleen sounds even more deprived over what she’s missed.

“I hated every polygamist on earth, but then I met your dad and he’s a dad…a real dad. I respect this guy and you guys are so much better than what we had to go through,” she says.

The experience of meeting these four damaged polygamist refugees leaves Christine in tears.

“I didn’t know of the problems in Kolleen’s and Nicole’s groups. I thought polygamy was a blessing and not used to control people,” she cries.

So Kody gets his wish — he convinces the abused escapees that polygamy isn’t all bad, but he and his wives and children face a sobering reality — polygamy’s very dark side.

This was the best and most riveting episode ever of Sister Wives — don’t you agree, HollywoodLifers?

Kody Brown and his four wives just spent a beachy vacation with the Hugh Hefner/Captain Von Trapp of polygamists — Joe Darger.

Joe Darger And His Glamorous Wives

Joe Darger is an “independent polygamist,” whatever that means, versus the sect that Kody and his wives — Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn belong to.

He’s also the husband for 22 years of best friends Alina and Vicki, whom he married on the same day. Plus, 11 years later he married Vicki’s twin sister, Valerie.

All three wives and the 23 kids live in one very unassuming from the outside house, in Utah, and travel in two large white vans, which Joe organizes like an army general. Not only that – he’s put together a “mission statement” for his family!

Meanwhile, the three wives are all dolled up at all times in pretty makeup, with highlighted hair, jewelly and trendy outfits. They all look like ex-cheerleaders, or what the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City might, minus plastic surgery.

In other words, they’re the opposites of Kody’s four wives who dress like what you’d expect harried moms of six kids to look like.

But then, the  slim glammy trio are married to Joe, who appears to somehow take time from sperminating and caring for his brood of 23 to lift weights in his home gym — yes, he has one!

Running A Tight Ship

But it wasn’t just their glamorous looks that had Kody and his wives almost speechless. The Darger family apparently runs like a well-oiled ship.

Unlike the Browns, they aren’t always late and disorganized, AND their vans are perfectly packed with luggage. “The Dargers are more organized than us. We’re always in a state of chaos,” admits Kody’s wife #3, Christine. “We always go into things with good faith. We have a plan — it’s just five different plans.”

But even more — Joe’s three wives don’t seem to squabble. They shockingly…appear to get along to the extent that they — horrors to Kody’s four wives —  all share one kitchen.

“I have two wives who think sharing a kitchen is abusive,” Kody announces, which prompts Meri to break down in tears.

“When Kody says that, I take it personal because I know Janelle (wife #2) thinks I abused her in the beginning and that was never my intention,” admits Meri.

Kody to his credit says each of his wives deserve their own kitchen (if they can’t have their own husband). “They would sacrifice their identity if they shared a kitchen. Their kitchen needs to be their domain. They need to express their own personalities,” he says.

The Dargers Show PDA

But when it comes to PDA, the Dargers and the Browns have the ultimate different paths.

Joe Darger is “allowed” to be publicly affectionate with each of his three wives in front of the others. Kody is not.

“In a lot of plural families, it can be hard to see your husband kiss, hug and hold hands with another wife,” points out wife #1,Alina.

But the Dargers all talked it over and decided that each of the three wives would be OK with it.

“If you feel like giving a hug and your have to wait for your night, that doesn’t make sense,” says Joe’s wife, wife #3 , Vicki.

“The affection (Joe) shows Vicki, wife #3 or Valerie, wife #2, doesn’t take away from me,” Joe’s wife #1 Alina, agreed.

But did that sit well with Kody’s four wives? Not a hope in hell.

“I’d like to be affectionate with all four wives (publicly),” Kody claimed. But Meri immediately put the kibosh on that!

“We have so many other things we have jealously over, why add one more thing,” she insisted. “We can have our affectionate relationship in private.”

So Sister Wives fans — no Brown family PDA with one wife in front of the other three will be forthcoming.

Possible Spinoff?

Now, what I’d like to see is a spinoff featuring the glamorous Darger “polygs.” I want to know — how they afford their expensive lifestyle with 23 kids? Do any of Joe’s three wives work? How do their kids manage? How many want to grow up and be polygamists, too?

Kody Brown and his four wives, Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn finally made some honest confession to Steve Harvey on his show today, Nov. 30.

“We do have jealous moments over Kody,” revealed wife#3 Christine. “If I’m having an insecure moment and not feeling confident about who I am,” — that’s when it happens.

The polygamist family also admitted that the wives will fight with each other, but husband Kody acts in full self preservation mode at that point.

“He ducks and hides,” laughs Meri.

Insists Kody in his defense: “it’s dangerous for me to mediate between them because I’m their husband.”

Instead, Kody explains that when one wife has a complaint about another, “I need to validate her and then let her work it out with the other wife.”

But it was Janelle who probably said the thing that all non-polygs suspected. “He’s pretty much always in the doghouse with one of us.”

How could Kody not be? One husband, four wives, 17 kids. No man could keep all those personalities happy at one time! Don’t you agree, HollywoodLifers?

Kody Brown doesn’t think 17 children with his four wives Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn are enough, and he let Meri — just the mother of one — know that loud and clear.

Kody Says He’s Having More Kids

Meri, 41, Kody’s wife #1, has been dragging her feet deciding whether to try again to have another baby using wife Robyn, wife #4, as her surrogate. Robyn made the generous offer to Meri several months ago in hopes of making Meri a mother again. Meri has been tormented by infertility since giving birth to daughter Mariah, now 17.

But Meri, after crying for years over her infertility, has now been in tears again because she can’t decided whether she actually wants another baby. It turns out that Meri has learned to love the independence that comes from having only one almost grown child.

But sperminator Kody has had enough. He lays it on the line to Meri telling her, “I’m going to have more kids.”

In other words — with or without you Meri — I’m not stopping at 17. Clearly six with wife Janelle and six with wife Christine aren’t enough. Robyn only has four, so he probably feels like she can handle another couple or maybe he does plan on taking a fifth wife, to expand his brood even more.

Kody does want to give Meri first dibs on being next to have his pawn. “In two months, we’re going to start choosing the doctor and dropping the cash,” he urges her.

Meri Breakdowns but Kody Barely Relentless

When she breaks down again, he finally relents and agrees to give Meri five months to decide whether she’s ready to procreate again.

“We just can’t keep going in these circles,” he warns her. “You might feel different when we’re in our new homes. I know it’s hard.”

“I don’t think you do,” Meri shoots back. And obviously he doesn’t. Kody is so focused on still expanding his brood, he’s not interested in whether Meri’s sharing his gigantic family goal.

Of course, the big mystery in Sister Wives is how the Browns can afford an 18th, 19th or 20th kid, when aside from their TV show, they have no visible means of support. Their new online etail business, My Sister Wife’s Closet, can’t be pulling in big bucks yet!

Their Troubled Finances

Finances sort of seem to be an issue. After all, last week’s episode was all about getting loans so the family could afford to buy four gigantic houses next to each other on a suburban Las Vegas cul de sac.

And finances seem to be an issue when wives #2 and #3 particularly gang up on Meri for wanting a house as big as theirs, even when she only has one child, and they have six each.

In the Brown family it turns out,  finances are divided four ways between the wives and their families — regardless of size. This hardly seems fair to Janelle and Christine, and they can’t help themselves from repeatedly slamming Meri, who wants the same size house as theirs.

“I worried that what I needed would be sacrificed in the name of the budget,” Janelle confesses.

“I thought Meri should get a smaller home because she has less kids,” Christine agreed.

Meanwhile, Meri was once again crying because, “I’d loved to have needed a seven-bedroom home, but that was not the cards I was dealt,” she sobs.

Meanwhile, she’s particularly upset because she wants a “wet bar” but can only get that if her house has a fifth bedroom, so she’s going to be “forced” to have all that extra room.

“It’s been a struggle for the family to see me have all this extra space. You have no idea how much I was in tears over the fifth bedroom,” she cries. “I don’t want to be judged for having this extra room. I don’t need this extra room.”

Unfortunately, it’s hard to have total sympathy for Meri’s big problem – she wants too big a house. No wonder Kody wants to get her knocked up again — then he might not have to listen to his other wives complaining about her hogging more than her fair share.

Oh — the problems of having multiple wives.

The Kids’ Speak Out

No wonder daughter Madison repeats her vow that she doesn’t want a “big family myself — everyone’s in my business.” Daughter Aspyn says she wants a plural family but doesn’t want “to wait around to find the perfect one,” and oldest son Logan seems less than enthusiastic about having multiple wives. “In 20 years, I want to have a wife and… maybe others later.”

Perhaps, that’s why Kody’s so keen on fathering more kids. He wants to make sure he produces enough future polygamists.

Sister Wives Kody Brown already has 17 kids with four wives Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn. But that doesn’t stop him from telling us that he wants to be a father again.

Meri Gets Guilt Tripped

When he announces that on last night’s, Nov. 18, premiere episode of Sister Wives, he only adds to the guilt trip that Meri’s daughter Mariah, 17, has just sent her on. It hardly seems fair that Kody puts the pressure on, especially when his newest baby, Solomon, by fourth wife Robyn, is only five months old and little daughter Truely, by third wife Christine, is only two.

But that doesn’t stop polygamist and presumably still unemployed dad Kody from not adding his own push for Meri to get on the baby producing bandwagon again.

She has been tortured for years by infertility after producing her sole daughter Mariah, who is now graduating high school. Her torment has been relentless as every other one of Kody’s wives, all of whom he married after her, easily produced broods of babies.

But now fertile Robyn has given her new hope by offering to be a surrogate for Meri to have her own new baby so she won’t be an empty nester.

The problem, of course, is that now Meri, (be careful of what you wish for), isn’t totally sure she wants to get back into diaper and drool world. She kind of likes her independence after all.

Mariah Puts The Pressure On

That is until Mariah hits her up with sincere tears, begging for a sibling on last nights show.

“You can chose whether you want to be an empty nester,” she points out to her mom and Kody as she starts crying. “For as long as I can remember, I have prayed every single night that God would bless you, us, with another baby, and if you choose not to, you’re taking something away from all of us.” Ouch!

Poor Meri. Mariah makes it awfully hard for her to turn down Robyn’s offer. “If it’s sitting right in front of you, why not take it,” points out Mariah, who admits that she loves all of her 16 siblings (Kody’s other kids), but still feels it would be different to have a full-blooded brother or sister of her own.

It’s a heavy-duty moment and not surprising that Meri breaks down in tears and sobs to Mariah and Kody. “I haven’t made a decision. I need a little more time to figure it out…I don’t know what I want.”

Well, she may not know. But interestingly, Mariah does have very strong ideas about her own life. If there is a benefit of polygamy and sister wives, Mariah as an “only” child has seen it. She didn’t have to grow up as an “only” child, and that must be one of the reasons she is determined to be a sister wife like her moms. But she also plans are being a doctor — good for Mariah — and she tours the University of Utah with her parents.

You do have to hand it to Kody. He doesn’t fear being surrounded by strong women — at one point calling himself his wives’ “pool boy” and “boy toy.”

Madison’s Different Goals

While Mariah plans on a career as a doctor and a marriage as a sister wife, teen daughter Madison, 16, is just as adamant that she will NEVER join sister wifedom, and Kody is ok with that.

“I would not be able to share my husband,” she tells her non-polygamist friends. “It does not appeal to me AT ALL.”

She points out that she has friends from all over and that Mariah hangs out with a bunch of Mormons. But she’s keen to point out that her values are still strong. “I don’t drink or have any interest in being sloppy. I’ve seen girls make a lot of mistakes.”

Trying To Find The Perfect Homes And Lives

The rest of the episode focuses on the “drama” of whether Kody and all his wives will qualify for loans to buy their four dream houses all next to each other on a quiet Las Vegas cul de sac — so they can all be physically close to each other again.

“I feel like a single mom, and that’s not what I signed up for,” Christine points out, talking about how she and her six children only see Kody every fourth night now.

Robyn meanwhile worries that her debts will derail the family homebuying plans. We find out that Robyn was impoverished after her divorce, living in a trailer with her three kids, barely able to make ends meet on her salary.

“My priority was to keep a roof over their heads, food in their bellies and electricity,” she reveals. She couldn’t pay off debts she assumed from her ex-husband after her divorce.

Poor Robyn — no wonder life as a fourth wife to Kody looked good in comparison. But honestly, Robyn’s plight as a cash-strapped single mom is hardly uncommon. She certainly wasn’t a taker or moocher — just a survivor trying to protect and provide for her kids.

Now she has a chance to give back to the Brown family with a baby for Meri. So the big question remains: will Meri take up Robyn’s generous offer and make Mariah and Kody happy or has independence become too precious for Meri to give up for a baby? Stay tuned.
