The mom-to-be just let it slip that she’s going to be stocking up on a lot of blue items very soon!

Singer Jewel just revealed that she and husband, Ty Murray, are expecting a boy. The 36-year-old is due to give birth this summer, so she and her bull riding/rodeo champ hubby still have plenty of time to paint their nursery some shade of blue. “We would have been happy either way, of course but we are so excited to be having a little boy,” she tells People.

Ty is especially happy to learn that he’s going to have another man around the house. “I have to admit, I was doing a little dance on our way out of the doctor’s office when we found out!” the 41-year-old says. Perhaps their little one will be a future rodeo champ, too!

The couple, who wed in August 2008, has been trying for two years to conceive so their impending bundle of joy is truly a blessing.

Celine Dion waited a long time and went through a lot to have more children. But on Oct. 23, all of her emotional and physical turmoil paid off when she welcomed fraternal twins, Nelson and Eddy, with her husband Rene Angelil. Ten weeks later, she’s opening up to French magazine GALA about what a tremendous joy they are – even if she’s too tired to think straight and too busy to get a shower! “I didn’t have these children to not take care of them, to give myself to them 200 – 300 percent,” she says, crediting her mom Therese and sister Linda with pitching in to help her with “housework, cooking or doing the shopping” so that she can focus on diaper duty and feedings.

“I am changing diapers and breastfeeding and that’s something where no one can take my place. It’s tiring but an intense joy,” Celine, 42, tells the magazine. And she’s determined to stay calm, so as not to create further problems. “I take things day by day. That’s the secret to me. In any case, breastfeeding is more difficult if you are stressed. Sometimes I find myself in comical situations I don’t know how to get myself out of. For example, when both are feeding and one has gas while the other is burping, I don’t know which position to adopt!” HollyMoms, have you had similar experiences? Celine, who also has a 9-year-old son Rene-Charles, wouldn’t trade her newborns for the world but she did find herself in a bit of a depression shortly after their arrival. “Some of the first days after I came home, I was a little outside myself,” she admits. “I had no appetite and that bothered me. My mother remarked that she noticed I had moments of lifelessness, but reassured me that this was entirely normal.”

The singer also experienced dramatic mood swings and cried for no reason. It’s comforting to know that stars like Celine and even Gwyneth Paltrow aren’t immune to the affects of postpartum depression.

And while she’s due to resume her Las Vegas show in March, she swears she’s not putting any pressure on herself to get in performance ready shape. “My only worry has been to be able to open and close [my tops] quickly for breastfeeding. It’s been out of the question to even wear a blouse! Makeup can wait. There’ll be time for all that.”

With only a few months left until her twins arrive, Mariah Carey shows off her growing baby bump during a visit to her doctor’s office in Los Angeles — and reveals that she’s chosen baby names.

Mom-to-be Mariah Carey and her husband, Nick Cannon, are expecting their first children to arrive in March. The 41-year-old star and her burgeoning baby bump were spotted leaving a doctor’s office in Los Angles yesterday (Jan. 6), after a routine check-up. The singer, who is carrying twins, finally ditched her sexy dresses and stiletto heels for a much more comfortable, casual outfit of stretch pants and a tank top and flip flops. Nick, 30, must be thrilled because he’s been begging her to slip into more sensible shoes! But in true diva style she accessorized her sweats with some serious bling!

Understated is not a word that I would ever use to describe Elton John. And now the singer  is shelling out a ton of dough to decorate his newborn son’s nursery. Elton and his civil partner since 2005, David Furnish, have spent a reported $54,332 on little Zachary‘s room inside their Windsor mansion, Woodside. “Elton and John began planning the nursery months ago,” a source tells the Daily Mail. “They wanted it to be ready for when the baby came home.” Currently the couple is in Los Angeles with the infant, who was born on Christmas Day, but it seems that they plan to raise him in Europe.

“England is where their heart is,” a friend tells the paper. “There is no way they would move to America full time.”

The proud papas have recruited their friend, shoe designer Patrick Cox, to help decorate Zachary’s room, which is described as “palatial.” While most new parents fill their nurseries with furniture from Babies R Us or Target, Elton, 63, and David, 48, have spent thousands of dollars on one-of-a-kind “tailored furniture items,” adds the source. Jennifer Lopez admits that part of the reason she wanted to become a judge on American Idol, was to give her 2-year-old twins, Max and Emme, some stability. And now that the entire family, including husband, Marc Anthony, has settled into life in Los Angeles, J. Lo’s getting her kids involved in local activities. On Wednesday (Dec. 22) the tots, in the company of nannies, headed off to their first class at The Little Gym in Calabasas, Calif.

Pink‘s been spotted shopping for her baby at the Beverly Hills baby boutique Petit Tresor. The 31-year-old singer, who is married to Carey Hart, is certainly spoiling her child! According to In Touch magazine, the mom-to-be has her eye on a $1,300 customized Newport Cottages Ricki crib. HollyMoms, how much did you spend on your baby’s nursery?

Perhaps Pink was stocking up on stocking stuffers yesterday (Dec. 22) when she stopped at a CVS store in Malibu. Her wacky panda hat and with the furry black scarf did little to distract us from her growing baby bump.The 31-year-old Pennsylvania-born singer, whose real name is Alecia Moore, and her husband, Motocross star Carey Hart, 35, are going to be first-time parents in May.

Ne-Yo is used to singing about love but he never realized just how deeply he could love something until the arrival of his daughter, Madilyn Grace. “It’s love like I’ve never felt before. I’ve been in love with a woman before, I know what that is. I’ve been in love with music before I know what that is. I’ve never experienced love like this, its instant from the second I laid eyes on her,” he tells Detroit’s Gossip Girls about the 1-month-old he has with girlfriend Monyetta Shaw.

And now the first-time father, whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith, is devoting his life to making sure his little lady, who was born two months before her January due date, is safe and sound. “I would do anything to make sure she never hurts or needs for anything in life and I’ve never felt that before. It’s special at the same time it’s scar,” says the 31-year-old.

But the thought of being responsible for such a tiny, innocent being, is freaking him out, he admits. “Fatherhood is scary as hell but it’s the most enjoyable fear that I’ve ever experienced,” he says. “You know I don’t got to tell y’all that the world we live in today is not the most positive place all the time so just thinking about the different things that I’m going to have to teach her, hoping that I teach her well that’s the scary part…but its gonna be fun I’m gonna enjoy myself.”
