Mariah Carey gained a whopping 70 lbs. while she was pregnant with her twins Monroe and Moroccan – and she’s dropped it all, giving all the credit to Jenny Craig. She lost 30 lbs. using the weight-loss system after shed 40 lbs. of water weight immediately after she gave birth. Her twins with husband Nick Cannon will have their first birthday April 30.

After giving birth Mariah wanted to regain her confidence. She tells Shape, “Everyone said I was fat, so I did something about it.”

She rocks a nautical, off-the-shoulder top on the magazine’s cover, showcasing her killer midriff and white bikini bottoms. She looks great!

She talks about becoming healthier when she was named the new spokesperson for Jenny Craig, while simultaneously taking care of husband Nick, 31, when he was battling a kidney disease.

“I’m proud of how hard I worked to get my body back,” she said on The Rosie Show in Nov. 2011. “I had to do this for me.”

Congrats, Mariah! You look great!

She might have broken up with her long-time beau Zac Efron, but Vanessa is confident she’ll be married with kids in the next eight years!

Move over Zac Efron, there’s something else on Vanessa Hudgens‘ mind. She’s got babies on the brain! The gorgeous actress, 22, may be experimenting with her wild side, but she says she can’t wait to be a mom and start a family. “I hope by the time I’m 30 to have a husband and maybe a baby,” Vanessa tells April’s issue of Shape magazine. You know, Justin Bieber said the same thing…

“I love children,” she adds. “They’re so much fun, and I would have a blast spoiling them.” Hmm, do we sense some more Suri Cruises running around?

Vanessa, who also opens up about her breakup with Zac, 23, in the issue, is definitely moving forward with her life and looking to relax and eventually find a man. Good for her!

Take a look at Brooke Burke’s impressive figure. It’s enough to make a person jealous, but the truth is, you might have more in common with her than you might think. At least, she believes that. In the January issue of Shape magazine, the Dancing With the Stars host discusses her relationship with boyfriend David Charvet, the challenges of being a mother of four (three daughters, Neriah, 10, Sierra, 8, and Heaven, 3, and son Shaya is 2) and why staying in shape is actually really good for your relationship with your partner.

“First, you need to be healthy,” Brooke, 39, says. “That means exercising to relieve stress and build energy. It truly is good for your sex drive to work out.” Not that satisfying that urge all the time is so easy, with four kids in the house. “I’ll fess up here. Sometimes we’re so tired, it’s just a glass of wine and a good night’s sleep. But the point is that we’re making a commitment to each other and saying, ‘We love the kids, but we matter too.’”

But it doesn’t end there. Though she’s closing in on the Big 4-0, she’s not even remotely worried about the milestone. “It’s really about being comfortable in your skin at every age,” she says. “I feel better now than I ever have before. I feel stronger, I feel more confident, I feel healthier. I feel like I know my body better.”

Definitely words to live by, Brooke!

The 26-year-old British starlet says she’s never had very much self-esteem — until now!

Kelly Osbourne is overflowing with confidence and is beyond thrilled with her perfectly toned bikini body! The reality star graces the December cover of Shape magazine and details how she got the body she’s always wanted! Kelly, who competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2009, says the key to her success really started there.

“He [her dance partner Louis van Amstel] made me eat turkey burgers and salads and explained to me that a high-protein, low-carb diet would keep me energized,” said Kelly.

Kelly entered Oregon’s Hazeldon Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Center in 2009 and she says when she left, she kept gaining weight.

“I replaced the drugs with food and just got fatter and fatter,” she says about life after rehab. “I’m an emotional eater. When I get upset, my diet goes out the window.”

But once she lost 20 pounds on DWTS, her trainer Sarah Hagaman created a regiment that achieved her unbelievable look! She even opted to wear a little bit of makeup, and cute outfits to motivate her workouts!

“As vain as it sounds, it really helped me because eventually I stopped hating the way I looked,” she said.

CHECK OUT WHAT KELLY EATS TO STAY SLIM:

• Breakfast: Raisin Bran with lowfat milk or two egg whites with lowfat cheese
• Snack: Sliced cucumbers or dill pickles
• Lunch: Grilled chicken salad with lowfat dressing or chopped salad with lowfat mozzarella and chickpeas
• Snack: Sugar-free Jell-O or Babybel Light cheese
• Dinner: Turkey burger and steamed vegetables or turkey burger with lowfat cheese and a salad with lowfat dressing
• Snack: An apple or a small spinach salad with lowfat dressing

Kelly’s workout routine:

• A brisk walk: two or three times a week, for about five to 10 minutes at a time.
• Up-Down for chest, shoulders and core: Get in a plank position with hands on a Bosu or on the ground and lower your forearm eight to 10 reps.
• Overhead press and squats: By holding two dumbbells in front of shoulders, palms facing away from you. Rise up as you lower the bar six to eight reps.
• Hamstring march: which works your butt and core! Lie faceup with head and shoulders on a Bosu, or on the ground with arms extended at sides and knees bent. Raise hips so body is aligned with shoulders and lift right leg so knee is directly over your hip, then extend leg in front of you 10-12 times.

Readers were so furious with LeAnn’s interview in the Oct. 2010 issue, in which she described leaving ex-husband Dean Sheremet for then-married Eddie Cibrian, that the magazine’s editor-in-chief Valerie Latona has addressed the readers’ concerns in an e-mail to TooFab! “The cover was not meant to put a husband-stealer on a pedestal,” Valerie writes.

To my dear Shape readers:

You are all in good company (why I’m e-mailing you all together) as you all agree Shape has made a terrible mistake in putting LeAnn Rimes on the cover. Please know that our putting her on the cover was not meant to put a husband-stealer on a pedestal-but to show (through her story) how we all are human. And this woman in particular found strength in exercise in what she said was her most difficult personal moment.

But it did not come across that way … And for that I’m terribly sorry. I hope that we can do better the next time for those of you that will give us another chance.

If only we could all look as taut, toned and totally gorgeous as Kristen Bell. Luckily for us, the 30-year-old actress is sharing her fitness secrets in the new issue of Shape magazine!

“My friends and I are all into staying in shape through outdoor activities,” the Get Him to the Greek star confides. “We play Ultimate Frisbee, hike the trails around Los Angeles, go rock climbing in Malibu, explore underwater caves in Palos Verdes. We’re gluttons for excitement, and it keeps us fit!”

Kristen, who’s engaged to comedian Dax Shepard,  DOES like to keep herself active. “I’m like a jackrabbit throughout the day and like to keep moving whenever I can. And this is better than just sitting on the couch for an hour, right?”

She added, “I like to stay fit and challenge myself but I’m not going to try to be a certain size, or weigh a specific amount. I don’t own a scale. My goal is to feel good and look healthy.”

That’s a great attitude to have, Kristen. Way to go for being an awesome role model to girls everywhere!

Think you’re the only one who hated her body growing up? You’re not alone — Kimmy K didn’t like her figure as a kid, either and even now admits to having cellulite!

Kim Kardashian has many physical assets (pardon the pun), but she certainly hasn’t always been the confident brunette beauty we all know and love!

In fact, the middle Kardashian sister revealed that she used to hide in the bathtub because she was so upset about getting boobs!”I remember crying in the bathtub. I took a washcloth, made it hot, put it over my chest and prayed, ‘Please don’t let them grow any bigger. They’re embarrassing me.’ I was the first girl in my class to wear a bra,” Kim says candidly in the new issue of Shape magazine.

Even now, the 29-year-old reality star admits she has flaws. “I have cellulite, just like almost every other woman on the planet. And just because I feel secure with my body doesn’t mean I think cellulite is cute! So let’s just say it’s a work in progress.”

But flaws and all, Kim loves herself and her body these days — all thanks to some words of wisdom from her mom, Kris Jenner. “All my friends were superskinny, and that just wasn’t my body type,” she admits, adding, “But I watched my mom, who was always comfortable with herself, and she helped me with my outlook.”
