Hey, Eclipse was great! A thoroughly enjoyable, entertaining and gorgeously filmed movie. It does not deserve to be razzed by the Razzies!  Don’t you agree?

Were you as surprised that Eclipse was lumped in with such loser film fare as Yogi Bear, Vampires Suck and Jonah Hex as ‘Worst Picture of 2010!’

I’m really perplexed by the Razzie selection team. Eclipse didn’t get slammed by critics – it’s reviews were generally good. The story followed the plot from the bestselling novel closely and the film grossed $693 million worldwide. It was a smashing success with Twilight fans.

That couldn’t be said for any of the other ‘Worst Picture’ nominees.  They were either total bombs, Yogi Bear – fan disappointments, Sex And The City 2 or savaged by critics – The Last Airbender.

Clearly the Razzie team all have hearts far colder than any Cullen. They probably would have nominated Romeo & Juliet for worst stage screenplay of 1597!

So Hollywoodlifers, has Eclipse been wrongfully dissed by the Razzies?

Stylistas were out and about at the Betsey Johnson show. Kelly Osbourne got decked out in a tiered ruffled cocktail look which more-than vaguely resembled a cake topper. Ciarra sported a checked mini dress – tablecloth or checkered flag for the finish line?  You decide!   Also on the scene to support Betsey was Denise Richards and Carmen Electra! What have THEY been up to lately?  Denise has just been dodging questions about her ex and Carmen’s now appearing in a new Facebook app.  An app that makes a mini Carmen “appear” on your Facebook page?  Is that scary or sexy?

The ultimate Fashionista, Sarah Jessica Parker, who designs for the Halston Heritage collection and featured the looks in SATC 2, was seen entering Halston in traffic-stopping red! Ashley Greene, who has repeatedly stunned us with style  this week, was spotted at Donna Karan in a trendy teal frock!  A handful of Hollywooders -  Emma Roberts, Jessica Stroup, and Maggie Grace – were all spotted at Monique Lhuillier.  Why bother going into the show when the scene is on the sidewalk every day ?  Rounding out the faves for the week so far was Kristin Cavallari sexy in a serpent necklace at Reem Acra.

We’re super happy to hear that Penelope and Javier finally said ‘I do!’

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem finally said “I do” earlier this month, Penelope’s rep confirmed Tues., July 13. Oscar-winner Cruz, 36, and Barden, 41, tied the knot in a small ceremony attended only by family members at a friend’s house in the Bahamas.

And now, according to Life & Style Weekly, Penelope is pregnant, too!

For her special day, long-time friend and fashion designer John Galliano designed Penelope’s wedding dress.

Penelope and Javier, both natives of Spain, originally met back in 1992 but didn’t begin dating until 2007. The couple also co-starred in the 2008 Woody Allen romantic comedy Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

HollywoodLife.com wishes Penelope and Javier a very true happily ever after as they begin the the rest of their lives together!

Kim Cattrall graces Japan with a brand new cut, do you love it?

Just like Samantha Jones tires of men, it looks like Kim Cattrall was getting tired of her hair. For the Tokyo premiere of Sex & the City 2 on June 1 Kim showed of a new, sleek sexy ‘do replete with brow-grazing bangs. I love how sharp the angles on her bob are. She looks so chic and modern. Quite a contrast to her softer, more retro-inspired look she sported at the New York City premiere for her new film. What do you think of Kim’s new haircut? Which fabulous frock was your fave?

Isn’t the stylish, jet setting group doing a great job on the red carpet? From NYC to London and now Japan, their lovely looks are even better than I anticipated! For the Sex & the City 2 premiere in Japan, Sarah Jessica Parker was very Carrie in a full, floral Vivienne Westwood fall 2010 frock, nude Charlotte Olympia pumps and an Alexander McQueen clutch. After all, Carrie’s voluminous dress that she chose for her wedding day was from Vivienne!

Kim Cattrall, who broke out Naeem Khan for the NYC premiere, opted for another gold dress by the designer, while Kristin Davis also stayed loyal, wearing another glam vintage get-up! I thought Kristin looked adorable in her 1987 yellow Jean Patou Haute Couture dress by Christian Lacroix from Decades. Cynthia Nixon kept her look simple and sophisticated in a black strapless Calvin Klein with an asymmetrical hem.

I have to say, although I knew the ladies would look premiere perfect, they all surpassed my expectations– and the Tokyo premiere was no exception! SJP and Kristin were definitely my faves from today, but which look did you really love?

The two biggest movie debuts of the holiday weekend couldn’t topple the big green monster on top of the box office — ‘Shrek Forever After’ still collected a lot more loot than ‘Sex 2′ and ‘Prince of Persia!’ Looks like those nasty critics got their wish!

The kids who like green ogres prevailed over the girls who like Manolos and the guys (whoever you might be) who like video games as the biggest ticket-buyers this weekend at the movies: Shrek Forever After beat Sex & the City 2 and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time with a strong $55.7 million weekend box-office haul (from Friday-Monday), according to estimates. It’s now made a total of $145.5 million in eleven days.

The tirelessly promoted (and HollywoodLife.com-adored!) Sex 2 brought in $37.1 million, which lagged considerably behind the first Sex film, which made $56.8 mil in its first weekend. All told, Carrie and crew have made $46.3 million since the movie opened last Thursday.

Perhaps most disappointing was Jake Gyllenhaal in long hair and leather: his star vehicle Prince of Persia, based on the video game, completely underwhelmed with just $37.8 million, which beat Sex yet lagged far behind estimates which had it making as much as $75 million.

SJP, you’ve been looking super skinny lately. Should we be worried?

We are seriously concerned about Sex And The City 2 star Sarah Jessica Parker‘s health! Even though she has always been super petite, lately she’s been looking even more thin and we’re worried that this may be causing negative health effects. We reached out to our health and fitness experts, and they agree: “Seeing her body type, one could speculate she may not be consuming sufficient calories to achieve that desired weight,” says Marissa Lippert, registered dietitian and author of The Cheater’s Diet.

“It’s a combination of her being a petite person,” Marissa says of the 45-year-old actress. “But, her calorie consumption could definitely be on the low end.”

“I would estimate [she has] anywhere from 11-13 percent body fat,” Marissa continues. It’s “definitely on the lower end — the average American female has 20-25 percent body fat.”

Experts figure SJP weighs about 105 pounds and at 5’4″ this isn’t the healthiest body ratio. According to the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention), a woman fitting these proportions has a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 18 indicating that her weight “is in the underweight category for adults of her height.” A “normal weight range would be from 108 to 145 pounds with an 18.5-24.9 BMI.”

At this low end of weight spectrum, many negative health implications may result. Marissa says that “absence of menstrual cycles, density loss of bones, more potential for breakage of bones, and a precursor to brittle bones and osteoporosis” may be just some of the effects of malnutrition.

Even if SJP is getting all of the calories she needs, one thing is for sure: “She’s so petite that a two pound weight loss looks like a big deal” (Keri Glassman, author of the O2 Diet)!

Girlfriends, we already showed you how to make delicious Sex and the City 2-inspired drinks by Lipton and mixologist Somer Perez, but we’ve got one more special treat for you! The London NYC‘s own mixologists have come up with a delicious cosmo called “The Sexy London,” which is described as a Moroccan twist on the traditional cosmo (appropriate, considering that’s where the girls filmed the big sequel!)

The Sexy London

1. 2 oz. Green Cardamom Infused Vodka
2. 1/2 oz. Triple Sec
3. 1/2 oz. Rose Syrup
4. 1/2 oz. Cranberry Juice
5. 1/4 oz. Lime Juice
6. 1 pinch of mint

Shake and strain into martini glass!
