Bio:
Sean Rooks (born Sean Lester Rooks on September 9, 1969 in New York City, New York) was an American professional basketball player and coach. He played at the University of Arizona in college, and was then picked by the Dallas Mavericks in the 1992 NBA Draft. Throughout his career, Sean played for the Timberwolves, Hawks, Lakers, Clippers, Hornets and Magic, then retired in 2004. He coached for the NBA Development League team the Bakersfield Jam during the 2007-2008 season, then for the New Mexico Thunderbirds from 2010-2011 and Sioux Falls Skyforce in 2012. He waso n the Phoenix Suns’ player development staff from 2012-2013, and from 2014 until his death in 2015, he served as an assistant coach for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Personal Life:
Sean has a son named Kameron Rooks who played basketball for the California Golden Bears at the University of California from 2013-2014. He died, allegedly of a heart attack, on June 7, 2016.
