We doubt it! Former American Idol contestant Sanjaya is ready to take his talents (or lack thereof) to DWTS…watch out, Kate Gosselin! You might have some stiff competition!

Love him or hate him, Sanjaya Malakar is entertaining. Considered completely talentless by most (aside from his obsessed tween fans), the 20-year-old former American Idol contestant is now seeking a new platform for his tone deaf self — one that (thankfully) involves a little less crooning and a lot more hip-shaking: Dancing with the Stars!

“The only [other reality show] I’d consider would be Dancing with the Stars,” Sanjaya — who’s as well known for his crazy hairdos as he is his screechy warbling — told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at pal Mark Ballas‘ concert in Los Angeles April 12. “I would totally do it because I love the show and I’ve always loved to dance, but I’ve never really had training — so I think it would be fun to be put in that situation!”

You’re not the only one who’d have fun, Sanjaya! We’re already on the couch, munching popcorn waiting to see what crazy hairstyle you’ll show off next!

As far as which dance pro Sanjaya would pick, he’s definitely open to suggestions. “I wouldn’t care [which partner I had], I just would want someone who was a really great choreographer because I’ve never really been trained…but I have a grasp of dance,” he explained.

We wonder if his grasp of dance is as strong as his grasp of singing….oh, dear. Scatch that — we can’t wait!

Tim Urban Is Totally The New Sanjaya On 'American Idol'!

You think I’m wrong? Just look at the evidence! Neither boy can sing, they both have great hair and inexplicably managed to make it to the Top 10!

When it comes to Tim Urban’s baffling presence on American Idol this season, I feel like a broken record. WHY is he still around busting eardrums and taking up space while fabulous singers like Lilly Scott are send to musical oblivion (aka HOME)? But then came my epiphany: it’s Sanjaya Syndrome all over again!

Surely you remember Sanjaya Malakar - the contestant on Idol’s sixth season who was as famous for his hair (hello, mohawk) as he was his inability to sing (his screeching is still permanently etched in MY brain). Who does that sound like? Oh yeah, Tim Urban.

If you don’t believe me, check out the similarities! Both boys are 20, both get by on the strength of their looks (pre-teen girls – and even a few more ‘mature’ ladies – go gaga for them), nothing judge Simon Cowell said about either was enough to get them eliminated for WEEKS and both have cracked the Top 10! Federal Way, Wash. native Sanjaya was eliminated in 7th place on his season – while Tim has currently made it to round 9. That said, it’s Lennon-McCartney Songbook week on Idol, and what better week for ‘Teflon Tim’ to shine? He already has a Beatles haircut, after all.

What happens now? Well, America, it’s up to YOU to get Tim voted off! If you can take three more weeks of his weak warbling, then more power to you. As for me, my eardrums may not survive the injustice.
