Salwa Amin is in jail, again! The Buckwild star was taken into custody because she skipped her court date on March 27, where she was supposed toface two felony charges for drug possession from a raid that happened in West Virginia on Feb. 10!

Salwa Arrested Again For Skipping Court Date

The reality star was arrested for a second time, and she’s in jail without bail right now! This all stems from a drug raid that went down at her friend’s house on Feb. 10, and the police reportedly found oxy pills and heroin. Police believe that Salwa and her friends were going to try and sell the drugs.

What Happened During The Drug Raid In February

We told you that the Summersville Police Chief J. Nowak said that Salwa and two men were arrested after a shipment of narcotics were delivered to a home they were at.

The police began surveilling the home because they noticed a lot of people coming and going. Once they got a search warrant, the police found Salwa, two men, and the owner hiding in a shed.

Salwa had “a large quantity of Oxycodone” in her purse, and three bags of heroin were found in the shed.

This could mean that Salwa will not be involved with the filming of the second season of Buckwild.

With a show called Buckwild, you’d expect the cast members to be a little out of control, but who saw this coming? Salwa Amin, the 24-year-old star of MTV’s new reality show, was arrested on Feb. 10 during a drug raid that turned up Oxycodone and heroin!

Summersville Police Chief J. Nowak spoke with E! News, telling the outlet that Salwa was arrested alongside two other men after an informant revealed to the drug task force that a shipment of narcotics was being delivered to a home using a car with Michigan license plates.

‘Buckwild’s Salwa Amin Caught With Oxycodone

After receiving the tip, the authorities immediately began surveilling the Nicholas County property and quickly noticed the home’s frequent in-and-out foot traffic. Once a search warrant was obtained, the officers moved in and found the MTV star and two men, Shawn Booker and Jason Jones, the owner of the house, hiding in a shed outside. After a search, a large quantity of Oxycodone was found in Salwa’s purse, while Shawn had a large amount of cash on his person. On top of that, three bags of heroin were found in the shed!

Chief Nowak said that Jason told officers that Salwa and Shawn had brought the drugs to his house to later distribute to other parties. All three have been charged with possession on intent to deliver. As of press time, they remain in county jail with bail set at $200,000.

‘Buckwild’ Season 2 — Without Salwa?

The seriousness of this charge almost certainly means that Salwa will not be involved in the recently ordered second season of Buckwild. The first season of the show, MTV’s attempt at replicating the magic of Jersey Shore with small town West Virginia youth, premiered on Jan. 3.
