Ronnie Ortiz-Magro remains hospitalized for kidney stones — the Jersey Shore star checked himself into a Florida facility April 27 — but things seem to be looking up for the professional fist-bumper. ”He feels like s**t, but he knows that it will pass,” a source close to Ronnie, 27, tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. ”It’s the worst pain he’s ever felt in his entire life, and he can’t wait till everything is over.”

“Currently, it feels like forever,” the source adds. “Even the toughest guys shed tears, and Ronnie has over all of this, but he will be better soon and is in good hands.”

Ronnie Tweets About His Kidney Stones

Since checking into the hospital April 27, Ronnie has kept his Twitter followers up to date with his condition:

– “Hospital,” he tweeted April 27.

– “Wouldn’t wish this feeling on anyone!” he tweeted April 28, along with the hash tag #KidneysFML.

– “Thank you all to my friends, family & fans showing me al the the ‘Get well soon’ love!” he tweeted April 30, along with the hash tags #MeansAlot and #StillHospitalBedbound.

Ronnie Is ‘In Bad Shape,’ Says Pal Vinny Guadagnino

Vinny Guadagnino, who fist-pumped alongside Ronnie for six seasons on Jersey Shore, recently stopped by the HollywoodLife.com office to chat about his new MTV show The Show with Vinny — so, of course, we had to ask him how his friend is doing in the hospital.

“He’s responding to me, so he’s good,” Vinny told us. “I know he’s in bad shape … [but] they’re taking care of him. He had some kidney infection, or something. But he responded; he’s tweeting, so he’s in good spirits.”

Remember that episode of Friends when Joey got his kidney stones out and it seemed really, really painful? Well, that’s what Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is now experiencing, as the former Jersey Shore star receives treatment for his own stones in a Florida hospital.

“Ronnie was admitted to an Orlando area hospital late Saturday night [April 27],” Ronnie’s rep tells People. ”He’s in a lot of pain and is expected to remain there for several days.”

Fortunately, the mag reports, Ronnie’s girlfriend Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola rushed down to Florida to be by his side! She even Instagrammed a(n old) picture of herself with Ronnie, just to let the world know he’s on her mind.

And Sammi’s not the only one of Ronnie’s former sea-side roommates to show her support.

“Sendin love to my bro @MTVRonnie,” Vinny Guadagnino tweeted April 29. ”He’s sick, everyone give him a twitter hug. #getwellronnie #imronniefromjerseyshore.”

(Kudos to Vinny sending his friend well-wishes, while also managing to mock Ronnie’s hilarious Xenadrine commercial.

Ronnie Ortiz and Sammi Giancola aren’t just roommates on MTV’s Jersey Shore, they’re back in a relationship and living together! HollywoodLife.com just spoke to the MTV stars and they revealed what it’s like being back together and owning their first love nest together!

“We actually went to look at apartments this weekend, and found something, we are moving to New York,” Ronnie tells HollywoodLife.com.

But of course, we had to ask how they even got back together!

“It was more that we both took a break after Italy and Jersey,” Ronnie told us. “And we’ve both grown up as people. We both had to find ourselves. We got to the point where if you can’t make someone else happy, you can’t be happy. We are very happy with ourselves and each other.”

Sammi definitely feels the same way, and she wants fans to know that there’s a lot more to their relationship then just what you see on the show.

“It’s only an hour a week,” she says. “There’s a whole bunch more to the story. By being in a relationship, you go through a lot of ups and downs. At the time, it was a rough spot for me. But me and Ron, nobody got to see that we had a real connection. There were a lot [of reasons] for me to stay with him.”

We asked Sammi if she’s in charge of decorating their new place and she said you better believe it!

“I’m excited,” she said. “We love interior decorating, but Ron is good too, so he is going to help me!”

But are we going to see their pad covered in pink and leopard print like Snooki and JWoww‘s place?

“I’m definitely unique,” she says. “A little different than Nicole and Jenni.”

Ronnie added: “Yeah, I’m not going to have animal print in my house!”

When we last checked in with Jersey Shore‘s favorite couple — Ronnie and Sammi Sweetheart -- the two were fighting and stirring up even more drama in Italy. Though their rocky romance may be OFF this season, HollywoodLife.com can confirm that the pair are most certainly back together!

“We’re going strong,” Sammi dished at Style 360′s Bebe runway show on Sept. 12. But now that she and Ronnie are home from Seaside and working on their romance, sans the cameras, she reveals that she would be game for another round of Shore and more!

“I’d love for as many ‘Jersey Shores’ that come, I would love to continue to do it, ” said Sammi. Now that the cast can officially check Italy and Seaside off their destination lists, the Jersey Shore starlet admits that she would go overseas again soon as she “loves to travel.”

But if Sammi’s planning on showing off her style abroad in the near future, she’s going to need the perfect vacation wardrobe to fill up her suitcases. And lucky for her, Sammi “loved” the array of “crispy, airy, flowy” frocks from Bebe’s spring collection!

Jersey Shore co-stars and lovers Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro have a heck of an up-and-down relationship. At the end of last season, they broke up. But in Italy, it seems the two rekindled their romance and are going better than ever since. While it was hard for their co-stars to accept that Sammi and Ronnie were back together at first, that’s changing. Deena Nicole Cortese tells HollywoodLife.com that she’s quite happy for them.

“Honestly, I love both Ronnie and Sammi,” she shares with us at the YRB magazine Summer Issue Party at District 36 in NYC  on Aug. 10. “And I wish them the best!”

Ronnie and Sammi need to not worry about what other people think about their relationship anyway. Since becoming a member of the Jersey Shore cast, Deena has learned that other people’s opinions don’t matter.

“Just be yourself and who cares what people think,” she says.

Let’s hope Atlanta was prepared for the Italian invasion! HollywoodLife.com has confirmed that Snooki, Mike “The Situation”, Sammi, Ronnie and JWOWW arrived in the “dirty dirty” July 18 around 10 AM and they’ll be there until the evening of July 20 to shoot their cameo in The Three Stooges remake being directed by the Farrelly brothers.

These guidos and guidettes are filming at the Atlantic Civic Center so if you’re nearby you should definitely stop by. The film is just about finished, we’re guessing this is one of the final scenes needed to wrap the flick. Also starring in the slap slick comedy are Larry David, Jennifer Hudson and Sean Hayes!

While these lucky five got a chance of a lifetime, Pauly D, Vinny and Deena went home for a breather but will return to Seaside Heights, NJ tomorrow night to resume shooting season five!

We can’t wait to see what trouble these tanned GTL lovers will provide in the bound to be hit film.
