While in New Orleans, there were parties all over the place filled with Baltimore Ravens fans and San Francisco 49ers fans partying it up while they got ready for the game. And thanks to Jeep & Rolling Stone, the best tailgate party was at the amazing Generations Hall in New Orleans.

Before the party began, The Roots greeted arriving military service men and women as a thank you for their dedication to our country, and to add to the fun, when things started up, celebrities the likes of, Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev and so much more were rocking out to The Roots incredible set..

It was the place to be leading up to the Big Game. The event featured celebrated New Orleans food specialties, the aforementioned special celebrity guests and tailgate-inspired activities for all. It was so much fun!

The Jeep brand made sure the invited service members enjoyed a weekend of activities in New Orleans, including attending the tailgate and the big game.

Not everyone wants to read Rihanna‘s explosive interview in Rolling Stone magazine. Just ask Karrueche Tran, who decided not to pick up the magazine in which Rihanna talks about Chris Brown - specifically her feelings for him, and how he’s a changed man.

“Karrueche loves Rolling Stone magazine but didn’t want to read Rihanna’s interview,” a source connected to the love trio tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “No disrespect, she’s just on another level and not trying to read sh** that’s going to upset her.

“Who wants to read about the girl who has her paws in your dude and probably even ruined your relationship too? Why would she want to rehash old sh**?”

What’s The Status Of Karrueche And Chris’ Relationship?

Our source explains the Karrueche, 24, and Chris, 23, relationship further, saying it’s a “complicated” one.

“Karrueche is in a complicated a** relationship with Chris and Rihanna’s involved too. It’s just crazy so she wasn’t really trying to be all up in the magazine reading about what Rihanna was talking about. It just would be too much and a little weird.”

When Rihanna, 24, and Chris Brown, 23, attend the Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 10, it will mark the four year anniversary since Chris assaulted Rihanna after a Grammys pre-party. She’s revealing for the first time what happened after that fateful night.

Soon after the assault, Chris Brown was convicted of two felonies, and the couple split. Most assumed that Rihanna’s decision to break up with Chris was simply because he put his hands on her, along with his obvious anger management issues.

The Real Reason Rihanna Dumped Chris Brown

But Rihanna’s telling Rolling Stone magazine otherwise.

“I wanted him to know what it felt like to lose me,” Rihanna says in the interview, “To feel the consequences of that.”

In the interview, the self-proclaimed “bad girl” seems less concerned with Chris’ unbelievably violent actions towards her. Instead, she was concerned that his heart wasn’t in the right place. He was taking her for granted, and the only way to make him realize how much he actually needed her was to cut him loose.

Did The Breakup Work As Rihanna Planned?

According to Rihanna, she never expected the romance to actually flame up again.

“When that sh*t came back” — meaning love — “It hit me like a ton of bricks. Like, God, you’ve got to be kidding me right now. But I got real with myself, and I just couldn’t bury the way I felt.”

We take it that the breakup worked — it snapped Chris into shape. So while many are looking down on Rihanna for taking back Chris, she seems very happy and confident with the decision — and she’s keeping him on a much shorter leash this time around: “He doesn’t have the luxury of f**king up again. That’s just not an option.”

Rihanna really didn’t NEED to overshare on her relationship with boyfriend Chris Brown in her new Rolling Stone cover story.

Rihanna Has Chosen To Open The Door On Her Private Life With Chris

She could have chosen to keep her lips zipped on her romance like most celebrities do because after all, it’s “nobody’s business.”

But she deliberately didn’t. Rihanna clearly decided that it was time to face her and Chris’s critics head on and try to appease some of their naysayers.

“I decided that it was more important for me to be happy and I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that,” she explained in her interview.

“Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake,” she stressed. “After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”

Wow! That’s a strong and courageous statement.

Rihanna at 24 is firing back at her bashers. She’s pointing out that she’s a grownup and this is her life after all. She can’t be miserable and not be with the man she loves because of what “other” people, most of whom she doesn’t know, think.

She’s not excusing Chris Brown’s appalling behavior when he beat her in Feb. 2009 just before the Grammys.

She admits that she was rightfully furious with Chris for a really long time. And she insists that “he doesn’t have that luxury of f**cking up again.”

“That’s just not an option,” she says. “If he gives me that again… I just walk away.”

So she’s laying the law down for Chris publicly — something which I’m sure she’s done privately many times both before and after they got back together.

She reveals that Chris would never want to go back to being the person who made such a terrible mistake with her.

Let’s Be Honest, Rihanna Knows Chris Brown Better Than We Do

“Sometimes people need support and encouragement instead of ridicule and criticism and bashing,” she says about her boyfriend.

And you know what — she’s right. She’s the one who knows Chris really well — we don’t. She’s the one who spends time with him and considers him a best friend and someone who she can talk “sh*t” with.

She of all people knows what it’s like to grow up with an abusive parent because she had one like Chris.

Rihanna’s mother, Monica Braithwaite, was beaten by her father, Ronald Fenty, while Chris was terrified by his stepfather, who viciously beat his mother.

Both of them were damaged by their backgrounds. Chris unfortunately and no doubt to his horror, repeated his stepfather’s behavior. Rihanna sadly became a victim like her mother and like many victims of battering, chose to forgive her batterer. But does that mean that it’s not possible for Chris and Rihanna to now have a healthy relationship?

Sources have told us that both have had extensive counseling and Chris has become deeply involved in supporting, financially and personally with his time, the Jenesse Center for battered women and their children, in LA.

He doesn’t want to ever repeat his unacceptable behavior with Rihanna or with any other woman, a source close to him has told HollywoodLife.com.

Should The Chris Brown Haters Just Let Rihanna Make Her Own Choices?

So who are Rihanna’s critics to say that she shouldn’t give the man she loves a second chance?

“I can’t say that nothing else will go wrong. But I’m pretty solid in knowing that he’s disgusted by that and I wouldn’t have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility,” she told Rolling Stone.

Can’t Rihanna and Chris’s critics accept that she’s made an informed and thoughtful decision before getting re-involved with him?

She’s handled her career brilliantly. She works incredibly hard. She made an impressive and again, well-thought out, decision to donate $1.75 million to establish the Clara Braithwaite Center for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine in Barbados in her beloved “Gran Gran” Dolly’s memory.

This is a mature woman. And now she’s courageously spoken out about the most intimate and private and controversial part of her life — her relationship with Chris — in hopes that she can turn some of the criticism around.
