Regis Philbin could be reuniting with his former co-star Kathie Lee Gifford on the Today show!

A new report reveals that the 10 a.m. host Hoda Kotb could be taking Ann Curry‘s seat on the main show, and if this happens, Regis, 81, could be in line to fill Hoda’s seat, the New York Post reports.

And Regis — even though he’s retired — would definitely consider an offer.

“I never gave it another thought and all of the sudden these things are happening at NBC one day after another,” Philbin told The New York Post

However, Regis told The Post he’s not sure if he would like doing five days a week.

Hmm! Even thought we love Hoda and Kathie Lee — Regis would be a great fit.

With ratings down last year, Dancing With The Stars needs to take a cue from its title and grab some stars to add to next season’s list of contenders. As much as all of us loved last years winner J.R. Martinez, do you still have any idea why he was considered a star? Well, that could all change if ABC can grab some people from their dream list for season 14.

“We would love to have the drama and emotion that Taylor Armstrong would bring to the show and counter that with the lovability that Regis Philbin has given audiences for decades,” a source at the hit show tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “ABC has a wonderful relationship with Regis from his Who Wants To Be A Millionaire days. Plus, who wouldn’t want to see what Taylor would bring to the dance floor each week?”

In the last few weeks and months since the show has ended, the reality competition has reached out to Kendall and Kylie Jenner and various Republican candidates in an effort to improve the star quality and ratings so they can make this next season the best season yet!

Regis and Butt-Head? The talk show host found himself a new job!

On the Nov. 28 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Regis Philbin starred in a hilarious skit with Butt-Head of Beavis and Butt-Head fame! The two commented on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant — but Regis was less than happy with the new gig!

Regis didn’t want to see “the chick with acne go into labor and stuff” with Butt-Head: “16 and Pregnant? When Regis was 16 he was already hosting the Frigidaire Funny Hour!” Regis exclaimed. “Kids today have no work ethic. None!”

Rather than have to sit through the entire episode, he called up Beavis and gave him his job back!

If you watched Paul Wesley‘s Sept. 12 appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly hoping for some juicy spoilers about The Vampire Diaries‘ upcoming third season, you were probably disappointed. But if you tuned in just watch Paul being adorable while talking about the show’s devoted fans, you were luck. So in luck.

Here’s what Paul had to say, after telling Regis Philbin he was “honored” to be a guest before he leaves the show. (So gracious!)

On the fans’ fake fangs:

“[The fans wear fangs to] fan events … and sometimes they’re not removable fangs, which is amazing to me. It’s a good idea if you’re eating an apple. You can sort of lodge it in.”

On his own fang-like chompers:

“They grow. … It’s a big joke, that’s why I was cast. It’s quite helpful.”

On the older fans who use their kids as an excuse to attend conventions:

“We have these conventions, and sometimes people come and bring their children. They don’t want to admit they watch the show, so they say ‘My daughter’s such a huge fan.’ And she’s six years old and crying hysterically. … Clearly the daughter is there per the mother’s force.”

On why vampires are so damn appealing:

“I think it’s the sexuality.” (To which Regis replied, “You’re 165 years old! Why are you still sexy?”

Ashley’s glad ‘Bachelor’ Brad dumped her in South Africa — she realizes now that they ‘weren’t compatible!’

Bachelorette Ashley Hebert was initially heartbroken when Bachelor Brad Womack fell in love with Emily Maynard and not her, but now she’s happy that he did. “As wrong as that sounds, I got lucky,” Ashley tells Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa during the May 23 episode of Live! With Regis And Kelly. “He’s a great guy, but I think I realized watching the show that we weren’t compatible.”

Ashley now understands that the little attraction that she did share with Brad wasn’t real. “When you’re in that situation, I feel like it’s hard to know what’s real and it’s hard to figure out which emotions are,” Ashley says. “You’re surrounded by such exotic places and people, and you don’t know what’s real.”

“So I think I’d just deny everything that he was telling me,” she adds. “I didn’t want to believe it.”

Now Ashley has gotten her own chance to find her own love with one of 25 “gorgeous guys” on ABC’s hit show, The Bachelorette.

Going on the show, Ashley thought it would be simple to fall in love, but she couldn’t have been more wrong. ”I was really surprised,” she admits. “I thought, ‘This is going to be easy-breezy.’”

Choosing between the men was no simple task. “These guys are great, attractive, engaging,” Ashley gushes. “They’re studs!”

Carrie got the shock of her life as she co-hosted ‘Live With Regis & Kelly’ on March 31 — a marriage proposal!

Carrie Ann Inaba got more than she bargained for as she hosted Live With Regis & Kelly March 31, when boyfriend Jesse Sloan presented the Dancing With the Stars judge with a pretty amazing gift — an engagement ring! Carrie, who had previously spent the segment denying rumors of an engagement between the two, happily accepted. Congratulations!

Clearly not one for a simple proposal, Jesse, 39, actually got Regis Philbin‘s help to pop the big question. Regis read a letter on air from a man looking for a way to propose to his girlfriend of two years — and out walked Jesse!

“I struggle to find the words to express what you mean to me,” Jesse said. “You’re an inspiration. You’re everything to me. Will you marry me?” An emotional Carrie, 43, responded: “Yes. I will marry you.”Awwwww!

So what do you think of Jesse’s live proposal — super cute or super cheesy?

Does Kelly Ripa want to add more babies to her brood?” No — unless you’ve heard something else,” the Live With Regis and Kelly host joked to the Las Vegas Review Journal. Although she was planning on having another baby, Kelly says she and husband, Mark Consuelos, are completely content with their family of five — which includes sons Michael, 13, and Joaquin, 7, and daughter Lola, 9. “Life is really civilized. We can go out to eat at restaurants together, and I don’t have to walk a baby around the restaurant and scarf down my food and switch with Mark,” she says. “We’re all dining together. It’s really nice.”

So now that more little ones are out of the picture, does this mom, co-host and actress have time to join the next celebrity cast of Dancing With the Stars? “Nope,” she says, explaining that she is preoccupied with other projects, like running a production company with Mark. “We’re very busy with that. And I’ve got three kids!” she exclaims. “I just don’t have time for it.”

Do you think Kelly would be a good contestant on the show? Who knows, she might change her mind!
