While this isn’t something we would ever see Blair Waldorf wear on Gossip Girl, Leighton Meester, 26, definitely takes us back a few decades sporting a ’70s look at the That’s My Boy premiere at the Regency Village Theatre in LA. The star wore a striking one shouldered tie-dyed mini from the Versus Fall 2012 collection as she walked the red carpet — she looked so cute!

Leighton’s accessorizes were kept rather minimal, keeping the focus on her fun frock. Her soft brown locks were left down in loose curls with subtle makeup and some extra bling. She wore Pomellato ‘Tango’ rose-gold-and-brown diamond bracelet, a Samira 13 ring and Neil Lane earrings to accessorize and a matching Versace black clutch. She finished the look with some black Jimmy Choo ‘Liv’ heels — the pumps complimented her look perfectly!

Kristen Bell walked the red carpet at an event at The Pagoda in Beverly Hills on August 3rd and had some stunning hair! Not only did I think it was super feminine and pretty, but I was surprised at how intricate the style is in the back!From the front, her hair looked beautifully messy with wavy, loose strands framing her face. From the side, you can see that Kristen has a fabulous low ponytail that flows down her back, keeping her looking youthful and not too serious.

To get the look we spoke with Celebrity Hairstylist Natasha Sunshine of The Byu-Ti Salon/LA, and she gave us the how-to!

• Begin with an anti-frizz product such as Pureology Super Smooth Relaxing Serum before you blow dry hair smooth.

• Use a medium sized round brush like the Ibiza Medium Round Brush.

• Once the hair is dry, with a 1 inch curling iron, create soft waves.

• Sweep the hair to the back to create a loose ponytail and secure with a thin elastic.

• Finish with a light hairspray such as the Pureology Take Hold hair Spray to leave the movement in the hair.

Here’s how to get the star’s dark eye for yourself:

1. Start by lining your inner lid with a black eyeliner.

2. Line your outer top lid with a thick black eyeliner pencil, making your line very large.

3. Start to blend the eyeliner upwards until your lids have a light coating all over.

4. Sweep a dark gray or charcoal colored eyeshadow all over your lids.

5. Apply two coats of black mascara, letting the first coat dry before applying the second.

How funny is it that Uma is in a very awkward love triangle with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s ex!

Uma Thurman has locked lips with both Robert Pattinson, her Bel Ami costar, and Kristen Stewart’s ex-boyfriend Michael Angarano — lucky! Uma is quite the cougar in her upcoming flick Ceremony which co-stars Michael and HollywoodLife.com was front and center on April 5 as they strutted down the NYC red carpet for the Ceremony premiere hosted by the Peggy Siegal Company Event.

Uma played the cougar part perfectly looking stunning in a skin tight grey and blue dress and strappy silver sandals. Other A-list celebs walked the carpet like Alexa Chung and father-son duo Henry and Max Winkler.

Afterwards the stars then headed downtown for the after party at Don Hills. I wonder if Uma will swap stories with K-Stew about who is the better kisser!

When Michelle Trachtenberg stepped out at Target’s Go International Designer Collective Launch on Dec. 10 she paired her fall 2011 Rebecca Minkoff dress with a fierce cat-eye — simple and chic without taking away from the look, the Gossip Girl was so glam!

While Michelle nailed the look with a classic cat-eye, singer Kat De Luna went for a totally different version at The Bra Book digital launch in NYC. In my opinion, the super thick eyeliner took away from her face!

If you want to recreate the retro look, check out our pointers below and you’ll be rocking the PERFECT cat-eye, just in time for the weekend!

• Keep the line super thin and close to your lash line.
• Use a really thin liner brush and always use a liquid waterproof eyeliner.
• Follow the natural curve of your eye, and if you want some added drama, flick up the line at the outer corner and fade out the line.
• Your eyeliner should NEVER reach the crease of your eyes. It’ll look like you have a black eye! NOT cute!
• If you have shaky hands, carefully put on a piece of scotch tape over your lid so you can get that perfectly straight line.
• Check yourself in the mirror! Do both of your eyes look the same? Make sure one eye doesn’t look bigger than the other!

We know eyeliner is one of the hardest makeup tricks to master. But these easy tips will keep you in the clear of looking bug-eyed, black-eyed, or worse!
