So many of our favorite celebrities are ditching their dresses for shorts suits and leggy looks — and it’s still just as glam! If you’re more narrow, a pair with pleats or side pockets can add some volume to your look. If you want to conceal your thighs, opt for a pair that’s a little longer.

You can add a pop of color to your look with a fun pattern or you can opt for a solid, pleated pair like Selena did and pair them with a dramatic blouse. Simply finish off the look with pumps or a pair of wedges and you are ready to go!

2) Blow dry with a round brush, lifting at the roots and smoothing through the ends

Designer Rebecca Minkoff knows how to redefine cool, and that’s exactly what she did with her Fall 2013 collection. From wearable printed pants in florals and plaid to structural mini dresses, the looks that came down the runway were so versatile and it’s only a matter of time before we see stylish stars showing off the looks.

A long-sleeved, plunging mini dress is ideal for the red carpet while a quilted leather mini skirt would be a great look for a photocall — and it has the same edgy cool factor that Kristen Stewart always flaunts on the red carpet! The star, who has worn the designer’s comfortable cool pieces before, has an affinity for leather and leggy looks, and as soon as I saw the skirt on the runway all I could think of was KStew — and that’s not the only look she would love from the collection!

The printed pants also seemed to scream KStew, but I could also see them on the effortlessly chic Jessica Alba. There was a hint of menswear in the collection but the designer gave the looks a sexy twist, keeping the trend feminine and fun.

Everything about the Fall 2013 collection seemed effortlessly chic, and there’s no denying the fact that every girl strives to recreate that concept with their own wardrobe. Minkoff once again succeeded in sending a wearable, cool collection down the runway proving that she definitely knows what young women want.

It’s always nice to see some glam celebs take a break from their lavish gowns and dresses on the red carpet and rock some totally cute casual wear for a laid-back outing like Eva Mendes recently did. The 80’s feel of Rebecca Minkoff’s collection shown at Mercedes Benz NYFW called for a relaxed, chic style. Hair had a matte texture and sleek ends to create a style that was casual, yet glamorous.

Here’s the undone waves were created and how you can recreate them at hom:

Start by applying TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Finishing Spray and TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse throughout the hair and power dry with fingers for texture. Smooth out ends with a Mason Pearson brush.Take random sections of hair and using a 1” barrel curling iron, create curls through the mid-lengths, making sure to leave the ends out.

Rebecca Minkoff is known for her cool, covetable designs — and the fact that stylish stars can’t seem to get enough of her apparel and handbags also doesn’t hurt!
