Porsha Stewart was defending her husband during part one of the show’s three-part reunion, and on April 21, she was doing it again — and calling out the other ladies about the support they didn’t show!

Porsha Stewart Defends Kordell… Again

When host Andy Cohen brought in the husbands of the housewives, it was evident that one couldn’t make it: Porsha’s then-husband Kordell Stewart.

Porsha explained that after Kordell’s radio show, he had a business meeting that he couldn’t get out of, so he couldn’t make it. Of course, the rest of the women didn’t like that. Andy then asked her how they are now, after seeing the arguing on the season.

“We’re a brand new couple — it was real, it was what we were going through at the time,” she said. “He felt comfortable with it, it was what we were going through.”

Apparently she was sick of defending her husband — she had to do it repeatedly throughout the season — as the women felt he was too controlling of her. That’s when she snapped.

“Maybe after I’ve done this show a few seasons, I won’t give a damn either,” Porsha said. “But for right now, I’m a wife. I’m not perfect.”

It didn’t stop there:

Kordell is not perfect by far, but he’s my husband. I married him and we took an oath in front of everyone and I’m going to represent that to the fullest. I’m not fake, I’m Porsha. So all I’m saying is that I just want to be strong like you, I want to have a career as well. I want to have my children that I take care of and they know mommy’s going to be home and Kordell know I’m gonna cook his meals. When you’re a wife, you have your own independence. It’s beautiful.

Porsha told the girls that she admired all of them, and wanted them to all be more real with each other — without the cameras there.

Atlanta Wants A New Housewife

The dramatic reunion ended with all of the housewives agreeing about one thing: They want a new housewife!

NeNe Leakes even said she’d like to replace someone, but she wouldn’t say who. She told Andy that she’ll tell him later on, so I guess we’ll have to keep an ear out for that!

Porsha’s First Interview Since Kordell Filed For Divorce

Porsha told us: “Absolutely, absolutely, everyone has reached out to me. Nene Leakes has been so close to me at this time. [She's] just making sure I’m okay and I appreciate it for sure.”

This is great to hear and we’re here to support the reality star too!

Just a few weeks ago Porsha was at our offices and she said that things with Kordell were going great.

“Well I don’t have a problem with a man having an opinion,” she told us. “If you’re a man, I need to know where you are leading our family. And I love that about him and along the way, there are some things I agree with and some things I don’t. As long as he can respect my opinion and let me woo him into what I want.”

Porsha’s Co-Stars Speak Out

We also spoke with Kenya, who is Porsha’s main enemy on the show. She told us what she thought about the divorce: “We never want to see anyone in pain. Even though it’s no secret we’ve had our differences. I just never want to see anyone in pain. So for me, I wish her well and hope she can get past this … whatever she’s going through.”

Porsha Stewart didn’t mention any trouble in her marriage when she came to HollywoodLife.com to talk about her hit Bravo reality show The Real Housewives Of Atlanta. We asked her if Kordell really is a controlling husband and you’ll never believe what she told us!

We Ask Porsha If Kordell Is Controlling’

We had to ask her about her marriage, and she didn’t even bat an eye when we asked whether Kordell was controlling.

“Well I don’t have a problem with a man having an opinion,” she told us. “If you’re a man, I need to know where you are leading our family. And I love that about him and along the way, there are some things I agree with and some things I don’t. As long as he can respect my opinion and let me woo him into what I want.”

We followed up our controlling question by asking the reality star is her voice is heard in the marriage and she said: “Absolutely! Oh ya we are a team. This is Team Stewart. He’s the king and I’m the queen.”

Kordell Files For Divorce

TMZ reported that the former NFL star filed for divorce in Georgia on Mar. 22. The two married on May 21, 2011. They don’t have any kids, and in the divorce filing, he stated that the marriage is “irretrievably broken.”

He also states that he doesn’t want to pay her any spousal support.

In our interview with Porsha, she also talks about wanting to build her family with Kordell and keep trying to have a baby.
