You’ve gotta love the Razzie Awards, where the winners are actually feted for doing their worst work in Tinseltown. Just think of it as the anti-Oscars — a show that celebrates the most awful work Hollywood stars did in 2015. So without further ado, let’s see which celebs received the least-coveted award of their careers! Read on for the full “winners” list, even though they’re essentially all losers.
Is it really possible to be the worst in film AND best in film at different points of an actor’s career? It sure is! Stars like Sandra Bullock, 51, Ben Affleck, 43, and more have been at both ends of the spectrum, and have been rewarded (and dissed) with Oscars and Razzies for it. Check out 9 celebs who have won both types of awards over the years!
The Razzies are here! Fifty Shades of Grey, Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 and Jupiter Ascending topped the list at the 36th annual Razzie Award nominations. This Razzies recognize who they believe showcased the worst possible talent and no one is sparred. Whether it was Fity Shades of Grey for Worst Picture or Mila Kunis for her role in Jupiter Ascending, The Razzies came down hard on some of Hollywood’s most famous faces.
Right before the Oscars recognize the best films of the year, the Golden Raspberry Awards honor the worst of the year! The awards that no one wants to win have been announced — and it looks like poor Kirk Cameron stole the show!
Kristen Stewart, 24, is nominated for her indie film Camp X-Ray, while Jennifer Aniston, 45, is nominated for her critically acclaimed role in Cake. No one is safe when it comes to the yearly Razzie Awards, which celebrate what they consider the “worst” in movies. Ouch!
Selena Gomez could be joining the ranks of Hollywood heavyweights like Halle Berry and Sandra Bullock very soon; of course, it’s not for the reason I’m sure she’d prefer. Selena’s role in Ethan Hawke‘s Getaway has earned her a “Worst Actress” nomination at the 2014 Golden Raspberry Awards — aka the Razzies — a trophy that both Halle and Sandra received for their own previous flops.
As Oscar season draws near, Hollywood is preparing to honor the film industry’s best and brightest. Of course, the big ceremony will be preceded by the annual Razzie Awards — honoring the year’s worst films and filmmakers– and HollywoodLife.com has learned exclusively that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 will be “heavily nominated.”
Were you as surprised that Eclipse was lumped in with such loser film fare as Yogi Bear, Vampires Suck and Jonah Hex as ‘Worst Picture of 2010!’
Sandra Bullock has been getting so much praise for her Oscar-nominated performance in The Blind Side, it’s easy to forget that not all of her movies have been quite as stellar. But Sandra was reminded last night, as she appeared in person to accept the award for Worst Actress of the Year at the 2010 Razzie Awards in Hollywood for her role in the 2009 “comedy” All About Steve. “This is wonderful,” she told the crowd. “They said no one went to see this movie, but I know there are at least 700 members here.” Click to watch Sandra’s hilarious speech!
