Justin may be taking home too many awards these days as he seems to have thought he was at another awards show June 8!

Justin Bieber scored big at the CMT Music Awards on June 8 when he took home the award for Collaborative Video of the Year with Rascal Flatts — but he thanked the wrong awards show! Justin thanked the “Country Music Awards” in his speech, an entirely different awards show and organization than the fan-voted CMT Music Awards. Uh-oh!

Justin was at the show with his mom and possibly girlfriend Selena Gomez, though there were no photos of her.

The teen lovers both release new music videos — who do you think has the better jam?

In a problem so facing so many teen couples these days, teen sensations Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have both released new music videos — at the same time. While one hopes to be supportive of their significant other and both videos may be remarkable, only one can truly emerge victorious. But who will it be?

Justin Bieber’s haircut takes center stage in his new music video as the song hits #1 on iTunes

Justin Bieber‘s “That Should Be Me” music video featuring Rascal Flatts was released over the weekend and I am loving it! The song, which is track 10 on his “My World 2.0″ album, is a love ballad and the the band members’ voices blend perfectly with Justin’s. In fact, the video hit #1 on iTunes and Justin tweeted his pride.

This music video is extra special, since it was filmed just minutes after Justin famously cut his hair. And I have to say, it looks exceptionally tousled and silky.

I love the video because it strips down to the basics and focuses on the singers’ vocals. We get to go behind the scenes with the guys and see them actually shoot the video. Seeing Justin just sit down in a circle while strumming on his guitar reminds me of his early days where it was just him, the guitar, and his voice. Do you guys agree?

Rascal Flatts singer Gary LeVox has revealed in the past that Justin asked the band to do a duet with him. “It’s actually a really good song!” he told Nashville radio station WSIX. I have to give credit to the Biebs for thinking to combine his talents with one of my favorite bands, they sound amazing together! “I’m honored that they are making music with me,” Justin tweeted when announcing their collaboration.

Justin Bieber teaming up with Rascal Flatts — can a love duet with Taylor Swift be far behind?

Justin Bieber is turning in his Air Force Ones for a pair of Frye boots: The 16-year-old singer is planning a duet with the extremely popular country group Rascal Flatts in 2011!

“[Justin] asked us to do a duet with him on his next record,” Rascal Flatts lead singer Gary LeVox told WSIX on Dec. 14.  “It’s actually a really good song!”

On Dec. 19, Justin tweeted, “I love @RascalFlatts and Im honored that they are making music with me.”

For those Beliebers who don’t like country music, you’re just going to have to deal. The group, which includes Gary, Jay DeMarcus and JoeDon Rooney, has had 26 hit singles to date, all of which have made it to the top 20 or better on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.
