Celebrity makeup artist, Ramy Gafni, weighs in on how to pick the right red-HOT lipstick or lipgloss for YOU, plus our 14 favorite red lipsticks and glosses of the season. You CAN’T kiss your special someone under the mistletoe without proper pout preparation. Here are his red lip pick tips!

 • If  You Have A Light Skin Tone

“If you’re very fair with a porcelain or ivory complexion, you should go for sheer colors. If you wear a sheer red it could be warm or cool. The problem if it’s so red it will look a little gothic so you want something sheer so it’s a lot more wearable.  Not light in color, light in texture. Almost like a gloss or a gloss,” Ramy tells us.

Also for light skin tones if you’re going to go the lipstick route rather than a gloss, Ramy says to select a red shade with a blue undertone. A good way to test if your lipstick has a blue undertone is by drawing it on a plain white piece of paper to see if it has more blue, yellow or brown tints in it.

•  If You Have A Medium Skin Tone

“When you are medium-olive toned you can go a little cool and a little warm. A lipstick with a little yellow and blue combined is good. Many red colors have just a yellow undertone or just brown or blue. Medium skin tones can do all of the above,” Ramy says.

• If You Have A Darker Skin Tone

“For darker skin tones, you need a darker, richer, burgundy red. A little of brown and yellow undertone. The problem with dark skin is a too blue undertone looks too pinky. You need a burgundy, brown base,” Ramy says.

The four-month-old was found by police close to her California home, 24 hours after her parents woke up and found her missing.

Somehow Ramy Amadea Gallego was taken from her bassinet while her parents slept just inches away. Is this YOUR worst nightmare HollyMoms? What a huge relief she’s ok!

Police are questioning three people connected to Ramy’s abduction, but have yet to release any further information about her disappearance.

They’re not even revealing where and how she was found.

Her safe discovery marks the end of a hellish 24 hours for her fraught parents Kristin and Rudy, who tucked her up in bed at 10pm on May 21 and awoke to an empty crib the next day.

They called 911 and cops started an immediate search of the area surrounding their Contra Costa County home using helicopters and tracking dogs.

Ramy was found early on May 23, and was due to be reunited with her relieved parents later that day.

Thank God little Ramy was found safe — these stories so often end in tragedy!
