‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ Cast Revealed

Out of the six main cast members from the series, only three have been asked to return, according to Naughty But Nice Rob. Ramona Singer, Carole Radziwill, and Heather Thomson have all been offered a spot on the show for the sixth season and they’ve all accepted. However, Sonja Morgan, LuAnn de Lesseps, and Aviva Drescher are still waiting to hear of their fates.

Bravo may decide to drop the remaining housewives and add brand new members! Regardless of who snags a spot on the show, there is sure to be some juicy drama in the big apple, as always!

‘RHONY’ Season 6 Filming Delayed

Though the reality show is confirmed for a sixth season, filming has come to halt. Filming was supposed to begin in January 2013, but has been delayed multiple times. The cast has not been notified of when filming will start again, but Ramona, Carole, and Heather have nothing to worry about! Rumors that the show is being cancelled have surfaced due to the delays, but they are all false.

HollywoodLife.com has spoke to a source very close to the cast who tells us that Ramona Singer, Aviva Drescher, Sonja Morgan, LuAnn de Lesseps, Heather Thomson and Carole Radziwill will all be back for season six. But there’s a new housewife coming to town.

Exclusive Scoop On ‘RHONY’ Season Six

Our source tells us: “All of the women are coming back. But the contracts haven’t officially been sent out. There will be another housewife, 100%. If you’re ever wondering who will be cut, it’s usually the woman who sits on the end during the reunion.”

Hmm, that would mean that Heather Thomson and Countess LuAnn are in danger. But our source says the ladies will be back.

Ratings We’re Great Last Season

We’ve told you that ratings are so-so but this is why having a new cast member would shake things up!

When we first reported that there’s going to be a new season we got a statement from Bravo: “Nothing has been officially decided yet about a 6th season of Real Housewives of New York City.”

The Aviva & Ramona Feud

We’ve always told you that these two women truly can’t stand each other. That was evident on season five when Ramona told Aviva: “You’re a viper, you make up stories, I feel very badly for you.” Adding that Aviva made Ramona feel like she had “diarrhea.”

At the time we told you that Aviva apologized for calling Ramona and Sonja white trash. We’re looking forward to seeing more of this feud continue next season!

We’ve reached out to Bravo for comments on season six and the new housewife and are waiting to hear back.

On the Oct. 15 reunion special of The Real Housewives of New York City, the ladies attempt to tie up loose ends, but a comment made by host Andy Cohen throws Ramona Singer into a tizzy!

Now, I’ll be honest with you. The conclusion of the reunion for RHONY was very lackluster and uneventful. However, there were a small number of events that struck me as a bit entertaining. So without further ado, I present you the top 5 moments of tonight’s reunion special:

1.Ramona Singer Attacks Andy Cohen

When Andy presents a question to Ramona about her drinking — and possible alcoholism — Ramona goes berserk!

“Why do you keep doing this with me? Because I drink just as much as LuAnn [de Lesseps]. If you wanna pick on me, pick on something real! I don’t like it Andy — I don’t like it,” Ramona screamed.

Isn’t it true that if you get really defensive about something, you must be guilty? Hm.

2. LuAnn de Lesseps Apologizes For Her Night With Tomas

LuAnn says she did not hook up with Tomas, but did get in trouble with Jacques for trying to hide her late night hangout with the pirate impersonator. Ramona calls LuAnn a maneater in the process.

3. Sonja Morgan Whips Out Sketches To Outdo Heather Thomson

Sonja Morgan disses Heather Thomson on national television by suggesting that fan-made logos (which she brought along with her to the reunion) are better than the ones Heather created for her toaster oven box. Even Andy admits it was insensitive to present the sketches, Sonja!

4. Carole Radziwill Confesses To Dating George Clooney

As if Carole Radziwill wasn’t cool enough already. She admits to dating George Clooney a few years ago, before current squeeze Stacey Keibler came into the picture. Carole says that George was the first one to read the pages from her now finished book!

5. Andy Disses Ramona’s Appearance

Andy says, “I gotta tell you something. Your lipstick is so f**ked up, and it’s on your teeth.” Ramona quickly adjusts herself before Andy says, “you look like a mental patient.” Watch it, ladies. Andy could easily take over for one of you next season — Who knew he could be so catty!

Aviva Drescher is tired of the public cat fights with Ramona Singer. HollywoodLife.com spoke with Aviva right after the season five finale of The Real Housewives of New York in which Ramona and Aviva duked it out! But Aviva says she’s tired of all the fighting!

“I am sorry that Ramona is so angry and is stuck in the past,” Aviva tells us. “I have apologized profusely and moved on.”

Aviva is specifically sorry for calling Ramona “white trash” and for inferring that she had a drinking problem.

“I have called both Sonja and Ramona on the phone without return calls,” she tells us.

Aviva Drescher wants to extend an olive branch to Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer. HollywoodLife.com spoke to Aviva right after the explosive episode in which she told Ramona that she couldn’t live without alcohol.

“I said that in a moment of anger because Ramona had called my ex-husband fishing for info about my relationship with Reid and she was trying to call me a liar,” she told HollywoodLife.com. “I’m not one who should be determining if anyone is an alcoholic. My mom died of alcoholism and I’m very sensitive to heavy drinking. I’m the last person who should be labeling anybody. I said that in response to her saying I’m not afraid of airplanes and I shot back and I’m sorry that I said that.”

But Aviva does say that Ramona is incredibly rude to tell her that she makes her want to have diarrhea.

“Maybe she has a stomach problem,” Aviva jokes. “She brings it up all the time. She may have a stomach problem that needs to get investigated.”

In the episode, Aviva sends her father to Ramona’s charity event to drop off a check and then Ramona kicks him out and has him escorted off the premises.

“It was really wrong of her to throw my father, my relative, my 80-year-old dad out of the party,” she tells us. “There are many other ways she could have handled it. I think it was wrong he went, had I known it was all women, I would have given the checks to Heather or Carole. But no, I don’t think he should have gone.”

Don’t forget to tune into the season finale on Oct. 1 on Bravo: “There’s lots of drama,” Aviva says. “You’ll see us arguing about Ramona throwing my father out of the party.”

Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan of The Real Housewives of New York City reveal details about their diva costar Aviva Drescher — details that were allegedly left on the cutting room floor.

It’s no question that Aviva has been one of the most high-maintenance stars in Housewives history, but even diehard fans of the show raised an eyebrow earlier this month at her feisty behavior.

Marooned in St. Barts, the three ladies got into a heated blowout confrontation, and when Ramona and Sonja were called “white trash” by Aviva, it was the last straw.

“It’s vile, it’s like using the N word,” Ramona told Radar Online of her co-star, who suffers from severe anxiety.

“Aviva is a liar,” added Sonja. “She just makes things up, and Ramona and I have only ever been kind to her.”

Not helping matters was Aviva’s husband, Reid, who called the two women “overweight Girls Gone Wild.”

But that’s not all. Ramona told Radar Online that there’s an even uglier side to their costar that we haven’t seen yet: “She was actually much more vicious than viewers saw. Bravo edited it so she didn’t look as bad.”

Now that the housewives have all settled back into their lives in New York City, they’re able to reassess their friendships and a long-term stay with LuAnn in London has caused Carole Radziwill to question her fondness of The Countess.

Of course, Ramona Singer is super happy to hear this new development and it may be why she was so eager to attend LuAnn’s “wine games” party.

Unfortunately, LuAnn and her rarely understandable beau Jacques thought it would be funny to “set up” Ramona into a blind taste test of her own wine — Ramona Singer Pinot Grigio.

“It needs more flavor — maybe some more citrus fruit,” Ramona says as she unknowingly sips on her own wine.

When the set up was discovered, Ramona keeps her cool and laughs it off, but the other housewives are not impressed.

“I thought it was mean-spirited,” added Aviva Drescher.

I have to admit — the idea was funny, but for some reason I felt bad for Ramona.

Aside from the drama surrounding the wine games, Aviva sets Sonja Morgan up on a date with her sex addict father!

Sonja’s first thought was — “Sex addict = good. Father = bad.”

When we meet Aviva’s dad, him and Sonja seem compatible — at least in the short-term variety.

Bravo decided to preview the remainder of the season following this episode and it looks as though the biggest drama is on its way! Are you excited?
