Rachel Crow has a lot of great things going for her since competing on The X Factor, but she’s hoping to use her music and fame to do some good and support those who are being bullied. Her new music video for the song “Mean Girls” is just the start.

On her Facebook page, 14-year-old Rachel writes, “‘Mean Girls’ is to help inspire kids who are being bullied to stand up for themselves and get the support they need. Remember you are never, ever alone!”

We applaud Rachel for wanting to do something positive with her music. Take a look at the video below!

Big Time Rush is fan of The X Factor too! The group recently collaborated with X Factor finalist Rachel Crow and can’t wait to do it again!

“She is in one of our episodes and she is so cute. And she has such a huge voice,” Logan Henderson EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com at Wango Tango in Los Angeles May 12. ”It was so fun to film, we have actually been able to listen to some of her new music lately and its pretty unbelievable!” adds Kendall Schmidt.

The group hopes to work with Rachel more in the future and even compared her to a another celebrity they worked with in the past, Jordin Sparks.

“We would love to have her voice,” says Kendall. “They kind of have similar angelic voices.”

Rachel Crow may be famous with a new TV show in the works, but she’s still a normal 14-year-old girl when she goes home at the end of the day!

HollywoodLife.com had the chance to catch up with Rachel Crow at the 2012 Nickelodeon Upfronts in Hollywood March 27 and she told us her The X Factor fame and new TV gigs haven’t gotten her out of manual labor in her house.

“I have to clean out my little puppy’s cage,” she told us exclusively. “I have to clean my room, the house. Fold my clothes. Normal stuff a kid would do. And we try to be as normal when I’m off the camera as we can.”

That said, the pint-sized starlet said there have been some perks that have come along with getting older.

“I’m 14 now and it’s more that year when you’re just becoming independent as yourself, you know?” Rachel said, explaining, “[My mom] doesn’t check my text messages all the time. When you’re 10, she’s always checking your text messages. When you’re 14, it’s okay and you get your phone. That’s changed.”

Known for her sparkling personality and powerful vocals, Rachel Crow won our hearts while she was competing last season on The X Factor and now she’s ready to take the small screen by storm on the Nickelodeon network. HollywoodLife.com had the opportunity to chat with the 14-year-old performer while she was perusing Kari Feinstein’s Oscars Style Lounge Feb. 23 at the Mondrian in Hollywood, enjoying products from brands like Rembrandt, Capella Hotels, and more. 

HL: How excited are you with your new Nickelodeon deal? So much great stuff has just happened for you…
RC: I am very excited, I can’t even breathe! Its just such a big thing, its really great! It’s been really cool!

HL: We heard you’re going to be doing some episodes of Fred. Were you a fan of the show?
RC: Well, I watched the movies for Fred. I grew up with Nickelodeon on, so when Fred came out, I thought it was very funny! Then, when I realized that I’ll be on some episodes of Fred it was pretty awesome! It looks like that I’ll be on about six episodes, it’s a really cool thing to film and it’s very fun to be on set. We all really have a good time!

HL: What do you think your album will sound like? Have you started to record anything yet?
RC: Well, we are about to start, we are still in the process for all of that. It’s going to really be a Rachel album. It’s going to have a lot of big notes; it’s going to be fun and funky and hopefully, we can get some people to rap on it as well.

HL: What do you think of all the changes to The X Factor and the possibilities of Britney Spears joining the show?
RC: Well, I love all the judges that are now off, they are amazing and will do great things.

HL – Do you want to also have your own show like… Rachel, The Show?
RC: Most definitely, I am going to shoot a pirate… (laughs)…a pilot for a new show and I am really excited for that. We are in the first stages with it so we are still figuring what it’s going to be about…

We would love to see a show starring Rachel and wish her nothing but the best with her blossoming career!

Rachel Crow impressed the whole country with her amazing vocals and outgoing personality on The X Factor and now she’s getting prepped to become a shining star on Nickelodeon. However, she has the Disney Channel in part to thank for getting her sweet deal so quickly.

“The Disney meeting with Rachel was almost seen as leverage for the Nickelodeon deal to do through,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “Nickelodeon always wanted Rachel from the beginning, so when they heard she was talking to Disney, they sped up the process and offered her the best deal she’d seen up to that point.”

Adds the insider, “Disney was weighing its options and was in no rush to give Rachel a deal. Nickelodeon had more immediate plans than Disney, and Rachel wanted to strike while the iron was still hot.”

Rachel is set to appear in five episode’s of Nickelodeon’s new series Fred: The Show and is expected to work on her first CD later this year.

Things keep getting better for Rachel Crow. HollywoodLife.com spoke to Rachel’s Uncle Roy Shubert, who lives in her hometown of Mead, Colo., immediately after news broke that Rachel, 14, is on her way to superstardom. Roy held back tears as he gushed about his niece!

“I’m really happy for her she has worked a long time,” Roy tells us. “No we always thought she would because famous because she has lots of talent and energy.”

When we spoke to Roy, he didn’t know that Rachel had landed a starring role on a Nickelodeon show all about her!

“I think it’s great I think she would be great at it [acting],” Roy says. “I’ve never seen her act but I’m sure … she tries her best on everything she does.”

The only thing that upset Roy while speaking to us was when he talked about his brother, Rachel’s grandfather.

“Her grandfather would have been real proud,” Roy tearfully tells us. “I wish he was here and could see her because he would have been real proud of her. He passed away and he was a diabetic and had a lot of health problems. They were really close.”

Rachel is set to appear in five episode’s of Nickelodeon’s new series Fred: The Show and she is expected to work on her first CD later this year.

She may have been prematurely kicked off the X Factor, but Rachel Crow is doing fine now. According to the New York Post, the 14-year-old singer just signed a deal with Nickelodeon for her own show!

“We are in the early stages now. We haven’t figured out exactly what we will do with the show yet,” Rachel said.

“I want it to be definitely very ‘Rachel.’ Something that shows who I am and who I want to be,” she adds.

Her mentor Simon Cowell is very excited for her. “I am incredibly happy for Rachel. This girl has it. We saw her potential at the first audition and Nickelodeon and Columbia are the right homes for her,” he said in a statement.
