We’re only entering week two on ‘Project Runway’ and we already have someone stirring up drama in the workroom! The designers compete in the JustFab challenge for the opportunity to have their look sold on the website — but as one winner is named, another designer is sent home. We were also thrilled by this week’s guest judge: Nina Dobrev! So, who was the second designer to go home? Read our recap to find out!
‘Project Runway’ is BACK and the season 15 premiere kicked off with 16 designers — but not for long! Just as the designers started to feel comfortable Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn turned their party upside down, throwing them right into an unconventional challenge.
Ashley took home the prize on ‘Project Runway’ when she made history with her plus-size collection — and she has major plans to revolutionize the industry.
Ashley Tipton pulled off a first on Project Runway when she sent the first ever plus-size collection down the runway at New York Fashion Week — and we got to chat with the designer about her plans to change the face of fashion. “I love how supportive each judge and Tim, as a mentor, was. They were so supportive of me creating a plus-size collection, it was like, ‘Ashley, you have to do this, you have to take this opportunity.’ I was just waiting for them to say we allow you to do it. I was always gonna do it, eventually. I was just waiting for them to allow it,” she said.
Candice was one of the four finalists who made it to New York Fashion Week on the finale episode of ‘Project Runway’ — but she thought the toughest competition was sent home before the finale show even started!
Candice Cuoco, the extremely talented, (and unapologetic!), finalist on Project Runway season 14, might not have taken home the prize, but she thinks the real winner was long gone before the designers even sent their finale looks down the runway.
The ‘Project Runway’ finale is here — four designers made it to New York Fashion Week, but only one can take home the prize. Who will it be?! Read on for our ‘Project Runway’ finale recap — but beware: SPOILERS ahead!
Tim Gunn comes in to rehash the feedback from the judges, making sure the final four understand what they have to do with just two days left. Tim goes shopping at Mood for Ashley and Kelly while the designers head to the workroom to work on the changes they need to make. It is truly a “make it work” moment. Read on to find out how the finale episode played out — and who took home the prize on Season 14 of Project Runway.
The ‘Project Runway’ finale is SO soon — and we got to catch up with designer Kelly, who filled us in on how she handled the response the judges had to her finale collection, right before New York Fashion Week.
Kelly Dempsey‘s vibrant, Studio 54-inspired collection was full of bold colors and sequins — and while she attempted to tone down the looks, the Project Runway judges actually told her to turn up the dial with all the glitter. Although they had a lot to say, Kelly said the ‘harsh’ critiques weren’t all bad. Read on to see how she felt about the shocking response.
The season finale of Project Runway is tonight and while we are super excited, we are also sad to see everyone go. We got an exclusive sneak peek clip of tonight’s episode and it looks amazing.
This is it everyone — Project Runway Season 14 is officially coming to an end tonight! Luckily, for those of you who can’t contain your excitement, we got an exclusive sneak peek of tonight’s episode and it looks amazing. Tim Gunn sits down to praise and talk to Ashley Nell Tipton and Kelly Dempsey.
We can all let out a sigh of relief — after last week’s BEYOND SHOCKING elimination, Tim Gunn came through and made all of our fashionable dreams come true, as he saved Edmond from being eliminated — that’s right, he’s going to Fashion Week! With not three, but FOUR, designers competing for the big win, it really is anyone’s game…and the judges totally shocked us this week.
Fans TOTALLY FREAKED OUT when Edmond went home at the end of last week’s show, and RIGHT BEFORE fashion week. Not only has Edmond been one of the strongest, most consistent and beyond talented designers all season, but he also has auditioned for the show ever since the first season — if that doesn’t show dedication I don’t know what does. I feel like this season everyone thinks Tim Gunn is being a little too tough, so I think fans were definitely relieved when he swooped in, in the twelveth hour, with a seriously emotional save. Tim’s totally melting my heart this week.
Part 1 of the season finale of ‘Project Runway’ is here and we cannot believe it. This season zoomed by and we are so sad for it to come to an end. This week, Tim Gunn travels to Ashley’s parents house to see what they’re like!
Could you believe how fast this season of Project Runway flew by? We can’t — it’s already the season finale and we are so excited! It has been such a crazy season and we have to admit that this year, we loved all of the contestants and it was really hard for us to see everyone go. On tonight’s episode, Part 1 of the season finale, we got an exclusive clip of what happens and we are so excited.
Time for a trip! The designers are heading to Los Angeles to create a glam, red carpet look — what a treat! It’s the last challenge before New York Fashion Week, so this will make or break it — there’s three spots and four designers left…and a shocking elimination rocked this week’s episode.
The designers, (and Tim Gunn!), pack their bags and head to sunny LA. Up for grabs is 100 free nights at any Best Western — how amazing is that? The designers head to a house in the Hollywood Hills to get inspired for their “biggest challenge yet” according to Tim. It’s down to four designers, but only there’s only three spots for New York Fashion Week — and it’s really anyone’s game at this point. Read on to find out what happened in our Project Runway recap!
With only five designers left everyone is feeling the pressure. This week we saw a first-ever for ‘Runway’ — a competition with 3D printing — and that’s not all! A Brooklyn Bridge dress and a celeb stealing a look right from the runway kept this week interesting to say the least. Read on for our ‘Project Runway’ recap, but not if you don’t want to know who was sent home this week!
The small group realizes that they’re only one step closer to New York Fashion Week. Heidi Klum greets the designers and tells them they’re bringing NYC landmarks to life — and in 3D! Now that’s one way to switch it up. The designers meet Tim Gunn at a NYC landmark — right beneath the Queensboro Bridge. For this challenge, the designers will draw inspiration from the city’s famous bridges for their challenge, to create an avant-garde look. For the first time ever on Project Runway, they’ll use 3D printing to create their look.
We’re up to episode 10 of ‘Project Runway’ — and this week a talented designer was sent home. Not only were we sad to see a certain contestant go, but for the first time ever in ‘Runway’ history, Tim Gunn gets emotional and curses out a designer! We certainly weren’t expecting that — but read on for more info in our recap.
On this week’s episode the Project Runway designers are making over members of the show’s crew for the Sally Beauty challenge — this is so cool! For the first time, we’ll get to see, (and hear!), from the members of the team that are often behind the cameras. How cool is that? We’re honestly totally obsessed with a makeover moment.
This week the designers are tasked with the JustFab challenge — and whoever wins will have their look produced and sold online. How cool is that? Read on to find out who was in and who was out this week on ‘Project Runway’ and let us know what you think of the results!
The Project Runway pressure is on! The designers head back to school, where each contestant will craft a look for a certain type of girl — and while this seems like an easy challenge, I was surprised with how this episode played out — and I wasn’t alone!
A trip to Broadway inspires the designers to think outside of the box — but some designers totally let us down and one was ultimately sent home. Want to know who? Read on for our ‘Project Runway’ recap.
It’s time to work on Project Runway! Swapnil decides to reduce his smoking time and increase his working time — he clearly learned from last week’s episode. The designers are treated to a Broadway show and get to aee Finding Neverland. Heidi Klum saw it with her children and loved it. They are greeted at the theater by Tim Gunn and Matthew Morrison. The challenge? They can do “anything” — freedom to literally do whatever they want, inspired by the show. Can we take a minute to appreciate how cute Matthew Morrison is?! The designers don’t have to work until tomorrow, where they’ll meet Tim at Mood and will have $250 to shop. Now they get to enjoy the show — and for some it is their first Broadway show ever.
Time for an unconventional challenge! While the designers are supposed to merge the worlds of technology and fashion, not everyone nailed the task at hand — and one designer went home early, before it was even time for the runway. Read on for our ‘Project Runway’ recap right here.
The designers really set the bar high for the unconventional challenge on Project Runway this week, where they used outdated technology to create a modern, fashionable look — and I must say, I was really impressed with some of the looks the designers came up with! From computer keys to mouse pads, circuit boards, wires and polaroids, the designers rummaged through a dumpster to find the fabrics used for the challenge.
