Princess Diana — New Picture Shows Her Cuddling With Mystery Man

A never-before-seen photo of Princess Diana that has been buried for decades has come to light, and it shows the blonde beauty cuddling up to a mystery man shortly before beginning her romance with Prince Charles. Who is this man?

Princess Diana Spencer was the most photographed woman of her era, but there is one photo of her that never saw the light of day until now, and it shows the scandalous Princess being embraced by an unidentified man — the same year she began her romance with Prince Charles. The photo was bought by the UK’s Daily Mirror in 1981, and the editor scrawled it with the words “not to be published,” as someone clearly didn’t want the late Diana’s romantic history revealed. Who is this mystery man?

The Photo of Princess Diana & Mystery Man

The photo was sold to the UK’s Daily Mirror on Feb. 26, 1981, two days after Diana announced her engagement to Charles, and it could have been a massive scoop at the time. However, the editor decided against publishing it — most likely out of respect for the royal family — and the photo went into the archives, never to be seen again, until it was recently found and put up for auction.

The teenage Diana is seen lying on a sofa with a handsome male in the black and white photograph, and it is thought to be taken at a Swiss ski resort in 1979 or 1980, which is just before Charles began courting Diana. Diana, who appears to be 18 or 19 years old at the time, was famous for being popular with men, and in this picture, a bottle of Jonnie Walker whiskey can be seen on the windowsill. How scandalous!

Diana’s Boy

Diana looks sweet and youthful in her embrace with this boy, who is likely to be either of her former boyfriends Rory Scott, or more likely James Colthurst, who went on a skiing holiday with the Princess around that time. James said “She slept on the sofa bed. It was fun. There were lots of pranks — Diana was great company — lovely, outgoing and frivolous and she enjoyed practical jokes,” reports The Daily Mail.

The photo will go up for auction by Caren Archive, an American newspaper collection who bought some archives from the Daily Mirror. Eric Caren, the owner, said to The Daily Mail: “It’s an intimate photo — I don’t know the man in the picture and he could be a friend or a boyfriend. This would certainly not be the way the Royal Family would have wanted Diana to be presented at that moment, given that it came out only two days after her engagement had been announced.”

Eric continued: “The fairytale between her and Charles was still intact at that point. My guess is that it was a privately taken photograph that the Mirror purchased but for some reason did not publish. Why the heck not I don’t know — I don’t know if it was pressure from the Royal family or an internal decision.”

It is a lovely photo of Diana, but it makes sense the Royal family would not have wanted it published. This photo began Diana’s life long relationship with the camera, a relationship that would make her a fashion icon and a tabloid favorite, and ultimately cause her untimely death.

Bidding for the photo will begin on Jan. 17, and it is expected to sell for a significant amount of money.

Hooray for Kate and William! They will totally change the way that the heirs to the British Throne have been raised. Prince William will be the first future King who’s a real hands-on parent! Here’s why.

Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s baby or babies will be lucky in more ways than one. Yes, one day they’ll sit on the British Throne and inherit vast wealth – but before that they won’t have the cold and distant upbringing that most royal heirs suffered through in the past.
Prince William’s father Prince Charles had a childhood that would be a nightmare for most young children.

He lived in a two-room nursery far away from his parents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip, AND he barely saw his mom and dad.

Instead, he was raised by stern nannies, governesses and tutors. His mother, Queen Elizabeth, would view him for a half hour after breakfast and a half hour before dinner daily when she was at home. He never ate meals with his parents. Royal children were apparently never permitted to eat dinner in the royal dining room with their parents until they were 18 years old!

When Queen Elizabeth took a major six month royal tour of The British Commonwealth in 1953, she shook Charles’ hand, instead of hugging him when she returned.

Queen Elizabeth – Not A Lovey Mommy

In fact, Queen Elizabeth was famous for NOT being affectionate with her children. Patting their heads was about as far as she would go. And she often visited her favorite horses in the stable after returning from a long trip away, before seeing her four children.

Yikes! Can you imagine treating your children like this, HollywoodLifers?

Luckily, Princess Diana — William’s loving mom — decided that she had to change all that. She insisted on hugging, kissing, cuddling and being a hands-on mom.

She fired William’s original nanny for trying to keep her at a distance from her two little boys.

Instead, William was the first royal to have a mother who would give him his bath and take him to movies and McDonald’s, just as if he was a “regular” kid.

William & Kate’s Dream- Living Like Normal People

But now, Kate and William will undoubtedly go way farther than Diana was able to. That’s because there’s nothing that William loves more than living a “normal” life . He and Kate savor their time living alone in their home in Anglesey, Wales, close to his Royal Airforce base.

Kate likes to shop for herself at the local supermarket and cook romantic dinners for William.

The Prince also loves spending time with Kate’s close knit Middleton family, because they have a “normal”, and loving family life.

There’s no coincidence that William married a “commoner.” He likes the common life. The life that we all live and love.

That’s why I predict that Prince William will be the first British king-to-be who changes diapers regularly, bathes his children and tucks them in to bed at night.

Prince William Will Be Shockingly Hands-on- Hooray!

I bet he will be an extremely hands-on dad and that he and Kate will break the royal dining room rule. I expect they will institute regular family dinners with their children; their little ones will go to regular pre-schools and schools, and Prince William will happily attend parent-teacher conferences.

Queen Elizabeth may not have hugged and kissed her children, but I predict the Prince be a huge hugger and kisser. He already PDAs with Kate — another royal first.I wouldn’t be surprised to see Prince William proudly out in public wearing a baby Bjorn!

Prince William and Kate Middleton made another appearance at Buckingham Palace on June 10 — the site of their massive Royal Wedding — to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II‘s 85th birthday!

William, 28, and Kate, 29, attended the “Trooping the Colour” ceremony, which is a very elaborate celebration of the Queen’s birthday. William was dressed in his military garb, while Kate was predictably stylish in a white coat and fancy black hat. The event took place at Buckingham Palace, and William and Kate were once again on the same balcony they gave their iconic wedding kisses on just weeks ago! Also in attendance were Prince Harry, Prince Andrew, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Princess Eugenie.

We just can’t get enough of the royal family!

Prince William & Kate Middleton Will Grace The Cover Of 'Vanity Fair!'

A never-before-seen wedding portrait from Mario Testino will frame an issue honoring the royal family!

In a loving tribute to Princess Diana, the July Vanity Fair cover will feature Prince William and Kate Middleton photographed by the same man who shot Diana’s cover 14 years ago.

William, 28, and Kate, 29, will be on the cover in an unseen snapshot by Mario Testino as part of his wedding portrait series, the New York Post reports.

Mario was Diana’s favorite photographer, and the magazine will feature some of his work with her, as well as shots of other royals such as Prince Charles and Prince Harry.

We can’t wait to see the new spread!

William & Kate's Baby Heartbreak: Royal Couple May Not Be Able To Conceive!

Kate’s new mother-in-law Camilla has been telling friends the royal bride has fertility problems which may prevent her from getting pregnant — according to sources.

If the claims are true, the newlyweds are facing up to the fact that they may never produce an heir to the British throne!

“Health complications from Kate‘s adolescence raised red flags that may have an impact on her ability to conceive,” sources close to Camilla have told In In Touch Magazine.

The consequences would be devastating for the British monarchy. Both William, 28, and his father Prince Charles were born soon after their parents married, and the royal couple are under intense pressure to produce an heir soon.

Royal biographer Andrew Morton tells In Touch, “If Kate is not pregnant within the next nine months, she’ll be defying 200 years of British tradition.”

The last reining monarch to die without producing a legitimate heir was Will’s great-great-great-great-great uncle King William IV, more than 170 years ago!

Unlike most couples, adoption isn’t an option for William and Kate, 29 — only a biological child can be heir to the throne.

Kate and Prince William will go low-maintenance on their trip to the United States — only taking a small entourage, all the details!

Kate Middleton and Prince William travel more like normal people than royalty. Kate doesn’t want to take a lady-in-waiting on their trip to America in July — and plans to get ready for the cameras on her own. William also prefers to get dressed without the help of an aide.

“Kate is very low maintenance,” a source tells the UK’s Daily Mail. “She said she doesn’t want a lady-in-waiting.”

Kate didn’t need anyone to do her makeup for her wedding and she doesn’t want help as she travels. “She did her own wedding day makeup and is confident doing her makeup for the cameras,” explains the source. But “that may change but she’ll see how she copes on this tour.”

And unlike his father Prince Charles who required someone to put his toothpaste on to his brush, William feels a bit more capable of handling his own personal care routine. “He likes to dress himself and keep things as simple as possible,” says the source.

In fact, the couple plans to take only about 6-10 aides with them. That’s far fewer than the 30 that regularly accompanied Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

“It has not been decided who is going, but it’s likely to be no more than ten aides,” says a spokesperson.

Kate won’t be taking a stylist with her. But she will have some help planning her outfits before she goes. And, she has notified her hair dresser, James Pryce, to be ready to travel as well just in case.

Other likely members to travel with the royal party include: William’s private secretary Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, his engagement secretary Thea Garwood, the couple’s press secretary Miguel Headm and former U.S. Ambassador that now acts as the couple’s senior advisor Sir David Manning.

You’ll be living close to William’s RAF base, where he’s a Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force’s Search and Rescue squad.

So not only are you living together like most newlyweds and not trying to have a commuter marriage where Will is in North Wales and Kate is in London, but you’re in an area too remote for most paparazzi. That way, you’ll be able to get down to the business of adjusting to life as husband and wife.

Love Decision #2:

THEY’LL LIVE LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE WITHOUT SERVANTS!

This is a big deal for Royals. you’ve decided you don’t want to live with pomp and circumstance like Prince Charles who has 125 servants! You think that having servants will ruin the intimacy of your relationship and you’re right.

Having nosy people around, even if they work for you, is definitely an intimacy-killer. Who wants witnesses when you want to get a little frisky or have normal little fights? Who wants your most personal life turning up in the British tabloids?

In exchange for intimacy, you’re prepared to do your own shopping, cooking, and cleaning. And that’s not only a small price to pay for privacy, but also it will keep you in touch with regular folks like the rest of us, i.e. your future British subjects.

Love Decision #3:

KATE WILL TAKE TIME OUT TO BE A HOUSEWIFE AND NOT TAKE ON ROYAL DUTIES!

Kate, you’re right to be a “housewife” for at least two years and not undertake regular royal duties. Poor Princess Diana was thrust into the “job” of being the Princess of Wales from almost day one, and she never had time to be a wife before a royal representative.

William, you realize that Kate is most importantly your best friend and life mate and not a PR person for the monarchy. Also, since Kate’s already 29, you two are wise to most probably be putting baby-making without royal stress at the top of your “to do” list, or should we say, your “doing it” list! After all, Kate seems to understand that producing an heir is her top job.

And what better way to do that, than in a romantic, secluded farmhouse, with your hot hubby Prince William.

Now, I’m not the only person who feels you two are making all the right relationship-saving moves.

Dr. Gilda Carle, author of the book Don’t Bet on the Prince, weighs in: I think this is a very beneficial move for them because they have been in the limelight so much. they haven’t had an opportunity to see what life is like yet as a married couple. This will give them a chance to see what they are like as human beings instead of members of a royal family.”

Hollywoodlife.com also spoke with relationship expert Cooper Lawrence, who points out that Prince William is actually the opposite of the “Countess on the Real Housewives! He’s not a playboy and they’re not on the Riviera. He never dated celebs and he never wanted to be famous. I’m sure he blames the paparazzi for his mother’s death, so being in the limelight and being followed by them isn’t what he’s looking for,” she says. “He’s moving her where their relationship can be safe and she will be safe.”
